Retirement

Ah so the time has come. After 1130 days in Navy I have finally moved to retirement.

So I thought I'd take this time for story time, tell you of my time within the server.

Well I joined a while back probably you know 1150 days or something like that you can do the math if you are so inclined. When I joined I was trained by Lance Corporal Misahu of JT at the time.
However being a LCPL he couldn't promote me from recruit this was middle of the day nobody online so I came back in the afternoon and got set by the Vader at the time then went for a wonder where I met Shader who was Heavy in Widow Squad at that point in time a WO1 who refused promotions for quite a while in favour of being heavy. He taught me the basics of troopering climb swep, how to shoot accurately in C menu with the E-11 and how the first bullet was 100% accurate for every mag. All those kinds of little tricks.

Well now I had all these regiments to pick from that looked pretty cool but then walked passed Engineer tryouts thought having tools would be pretty fun. So I went in performed the very easy tryout the CO at the time Kolto had made which was re-creating a table and set of cubes he'd made. From there I played around built things, mopped floors all that very casual engineer RP just enjoying myself. Over time Ramirez became CO and then Gregis.

Then both of them left leaving me as the highest rank in the regiment at Master Technician. (( WO 2 )). So I was completely unable to give promotions in the F2 menu and not at all a commissioned officer. So I went to Thrawn (( Cody )) asked for a promotion so I could do things and I got a one rank promotion to Junior Engineer. From there I worked on building engineers as a regiment with Necro and Delta.

Over my time in engineers I built the Tie Defender, the death star, and many many other things. I was part of basically every secret project and task that happened for the first 500 odd days of my time on the server.

And I had a lot of fun otherwise many many memories over that time with many awesome people.

And many more as I continued through the ranks up to Manager onto Thrawn and back down to Fleet Admiral. However rather then trying to recount my entire time on the server and the 27'120 hours that it is. I will instead just list some awesome people with maybe a moment or so. Though I'm sure many of them have moved on.

Gregis - I will never forget gangsta galen with dual pistols gunning people down.

Delta - I can't believe how many times you jumped in and out of Engineering and it was a pleasure to work with you all the time.
Whitey - I will still always aspire to be the Director of Engineering you were. No Engineer will ever forget the day we hid on the DS-01 shooting down ships in a tank for a pay rise from the Grand Moff or all the other chaos such as the time you had me make a grinder, cut a hole in bridge windows and then had everyone inside rag dolled.
Rex - Miss the days of 31st where I would just build dupes for you to blow up. Also fun testing the Tie Defender with.
Wombat - Truly one of the best people I've ever had the pleasure to work with all the help you gave me with Navy. Many long hours just damn.
Cecil - You're an awesome dude, was always good to work with you.
Lucky - Always a good to chat with. Sounds somewhat bad but your level of done with shit always made my day.

And to really save time because I realized this list was like 80 people to just list names:

Basil, Dirthi, Helsing, Cure, Horus, Hammer, Loki, Grif, Bob, Mono, Stitches, Pickle, Tonberry, Smoke, Frost (( The one that was in Engineers when the Death Star came out and was a CO on Clone Wars. )), Ashley, Kaye, Planz, Rickle, Ash, Anthony, Matrix, Rivers, Jman, Sloppy, Castle.

(( In no special order, and with plenty of people I've missed because I have awful memory when I try to sort through all the awesome times and people on the server. So feel free to remind me of any. ))

Anyway now I am outtie and Angus the awesome person that he is will be head of Navy. You'll still see me kicking around here and there as Director Rad Cop but my lengthy career has come to its end. Thank you all for the opportunities and the fun.

Sounds like me as well.
It was a definite pleasure to work under you in engineering so many times, it's rather unfortunate that I left too many times, and I often wonder if I should have stuck alongside Delta many of the times.

I miss the old gang of engineers that we hung around with especially the people we worked with in TI-CELPOW under Welshy and Basil as Tarkin and Galen respectively.

Wish you all the best Rad cop, with whatever you're pursuing next, and I hope to still see you around on the forums, teamspeak and ingame (whenever the days are that I hop on the server.)

One of the most down to earth people I've had the pleasure of meeting & interacting with.

It's been an honour RadCop, we're gonna miss you, some will miss you more than others. I guess that's just part of the journey.

See you round buddy, all the best for you & your future.

@Rad_Cop
It's been a Pleasure serving with you so much and for so long, we joined engineers around the same time in 2018, but you stayed and always welcomed me back and forth even through thick and thin, Rad you're a great person and friend. Thank you for everything past and present, I can't find the words to describe how grateful I am.

Wishing you the best of luck in the future Radcop! I'm certainly one of the more recent additions to the long list of encounters on the server, but I want to thank you for what you've done in giving faith and assistance through having played a large role in making Navy such a welcoming group of regiments. I also want to thank you for being one of the group of key people who inspire me as an Engineer CO, you, Delta and Crofty taught and continue to teach me so much about what it takes to be an ENG CO, something I never thought I would have ever been, but have enjoyed thoroughly. It's been a short time working with you, but it's been an absolute blast.

Take care Radcop!

You are perhaps one of the more recent engineers but I think myself and Delta can agree you are one of the best. I hope you stay with Engineers and Navy until you become as old as myself. Though on the other hand I hope through that time you keep all that drive and energy you have now. And just keep improving.

"But it was so artistically done"

Look Kris maybe some time we can move forwards once more to return Thrawn for his final betrayal. Though the events leading up to my space whaling were great.

Was funny watching as Thrawn rushes a bunch of rebels by himself, using only a pistol and beating them all

Look man, I'm not allowed to say what i would do for my stupidly high HP and original Grand Pistol back. But I can say it is a lot of things. (( Though EM complaints about me would also skyrocket. ))
