PAC3 Tier 2 Questions

  • What have you created with PAC 3 since receiving Tier 1?

    I want to note that I have received PAC Tier 2 Access on this server before. As for what I have learnt/created, I have learnt a multitude of new and exciting ways to make my RP character unique to me. I have done this through a few characters such as when I was an Imperial Commando, a Shock Trooper/CO, and now as a Purge trooper. I have also learnt a great deal in importing models and using custom submaterials, which greatly help me in creating a unique character. Recently I learnt how to incorporate Bumpmaps and Phongs to increase depth and reduce flatness in my custom submaterials. On top of this, I have started making animations using the tried and true holdtype, but also sequence, notably for the way I handle my imperial arts weaponry as a Shock trooper and now as a Purge trooper.

 

  • How have you improved the Roleplay for other members of the community whilst using PAC 3?

    I won't say if I have improved the roleplay for others around me, for only other people can say that. Those other people can dictate as much in their responses to my application. However, I believe I have altered other people's RP by having animations, and custom submaterials, models, and the like to alter how I look in game. Evidence of my work can be seen around, as I typically share my work with other PAC users, should they request it, so that they may reverse engineer it to learn it, as well as alter it themselves to how they like.

 

  • What has been improved from the implementation of PAC 3?

    Teaching other people how to do PAC themselves, as well as how to alter materials, importing them and light blender work, is a great joy, and it's amazing to see their creative work once they've learnt. I love teaching others, and I love making PACs myself. I usually run into a wall where I push my creativity to the limit to find what I want to make, leaving no real room of self improvement, that is, unless someone suggests an idea, which, from there I can work on. People can, for the most part, point my PAC out and know it's from me, that level of uniqueness you just wouldn't or even couldn't get without PAC, and recognition of the work I put into my PACs is amazing.

    Note: I do want to say that although I have next to no tier 2 examples on this application, A lot of my examples can be simplified through having tier 2. On top of this, having tier 2 examples isn't actually a requirement, and making PACs on the server is 100% easier than off the server, I am also beginning to learn CUSTOM Animations, so be ready for those in Tier 2.

Beautiful, original, detailed PAC3 Examples but would like to see what you can do with custom animations & more tier 2 aspects - jiggle/lights/ported models etc

Answers are in depth and very detailed

Hi Mauler, as your application sits in terms of examples, whilst showing some levels of knowledge and experienced, most of the examples are indicative of tier 1, the purge ones mainly being very borderline basic. whilst you have listed other forms of examples in the other spoiler box, it would be beneficial in my eyes to make some more examples utilising aspects and restrictions indicative of tier 2. So far you application shows me you are someone who has knowledge on PAC and it's functions, and are knowledged on utilizing materials and their bump maps to create various custom materials for your characters. (Thanks for the credit btw.) As you are someone that has also held Tier 2 in the past I am confident to leave a Neutral at this stage I'd like to see more examples, something new and maybe some more aspects of tier 2, maybe even some more examples of what you plan to use in game as Purge if you were to receive tier 2, and then you might secure my vote.

On a more serious note, my man's is pretty talented with PAC and he's only been getting better. I swear everytime I see him he's got something different on, even if it's just a small change. I'd like to see what you could do with Tier 2.
