Have you had any warns (If so state them)?
Yes, I have received 2 warnings, both late 2019 when I was a minge.
Saturday, August 4th 2019 |  Fail RP  | Iris
Monday, November 4th 2019 |  DC to Avoid Punishment  | Captain Iden Versio

Have you had any bans (If so state them)?
I have not received any bans on IG to my knowledge.

Have you been staff on any other servers or communities (If so state them)?
No, this will be my first time applying for a staff position of a Garry’s Mod server.

Why are you applying to be an Event Master?
I am applying for event master because I have always wanted to do more on the server and also be a part of the staff team and to create a better experience for the casual players. If you know me you would also know that I am not a huge fan of RP, however i am trying to get better, im sure Splonter or Rook could agree im a little better now than what i was before. I like creating certain scenarios and watching a plan or idea fold out, and using these skills I can create more unique events that players will be happy with. I’ve been told by people and EM’s that I would do a decent job and it's worth checking out. I am dedicated to what I do and if I'm asked by someone to do something I can get it done. I also want to create new opportunities for regimental based stuff in my own regiment as well as assist other regiments with the same thing, I would offer my help to those who need it. Becoming an Event Master will also allow me to grow my knowledge in certain commands, how certain things work, and get more well known around the community.

What do you believe you can bring to the Event Master team?
I believe I can bring my own personal touch to events to create more distinct and unique events. I can bring lots of activity and will listen and do whatever is needed of me. I work hard to create new ideas and experiences for my regiment and the people around me. I’ve learned new ways of looking at scenarios and creating events through my time socializing with Rook, Angus, and Seaelay from ISC and I believe I can use the basic skills and knowledge they've subconsciously taught me to get an edge over the other new event masters, such as ULX and how an event should run and look. I believe I can also bring a sense of cooperation as I would offer my assistance to other EM’s with ideas, dupes or running the event as well as create types of joint story arcs with other EM’s to create a sense of continuity and a more proper timeline and the universe inside the IG’s SWRP timeline.

What do you believe you can do to make Events more fun, enjoyable and inclusive?
I believe I can create more unique and different events to give the involved parties a more enjoyable time, I can create more regiment based events that are specific to their abilities and lore as well as create scenarios for those who aren't too fond of RP compared to others, I would listen to any criticism or feedback I would receive in order to change my events to create a better experience for all. I frequently devote my off time to creating unique builds/dupes and having EM would only enhance my motivation to create better and more exciting builds to make more unique events to create a better experience for players, adding a new level of events and RP.

Do you have basic knowledge of ULX commands?
Yes, very basic.

Anything else you would like to add?
Big cheers to everyone that helped me refine my application and convinced me to apply.

+1 Mature, Nice guy active good person who has helped out in many of my events. Good detail in application. Event 1 is lacking a bit of detail but is none the less quite nice. Event 2 is very good, detail all is well done is also very uniquely made. Event 3 is nice to see a passive though all these apps and looks ok as a passive that could fold out. All in all Good app and events +1

I've seen Roys since he started out on the server as he improved as a member of the community. At the start I thought he was just going to be a minge and not go any further. I was wrong about that to say the least. I watched Roys as he became a face in the community I would consider to be more than just valuable. At this stage I believe he is more than ready to recieve this position. Good luck!

Application is well formatted and events are well thought out, I wouldn't doubt Roy would make a great addition to the EM team.

+1, Roys has been an invaluable member to ISC always willing to help out, suggest new ideas and improve ISC to the best of his abilities. I have no doubt that his keen attitude, improvisation and leaderships skills would also be a great asset to the event team as well. Without hesitation I believe that Roys would make an excellent Event Master given the time I've spent with him within ISC I have the utmost confidence that Roys ticks most if not all boxes that is required to become an Event Master.

Good luck Roys!

Big +1 to my main defender man Roys.

My time in Pilots taught me that Roys is a valued and respected member who works really hard for the regiment.

Good Luck with your application Roys :)

Hello Roys. Glad you're interested in applying for a position within the event master team.

Your application looks alright at first glance. However, I took my time to go ahead and thoroughly read through the application and did a tad bit of research.
In saying that, I do have a few things in mind to bring up regarding this application and, in general, act as some feedback towards you.
I'll be going through your answers one at a time and hopefully keep my responses concise.

I've looked through your steam profile and a few of the links embedded within, and I have a bit of a more firm grasp on how you act with other people online.
I have a couple of things I want to say, but that's not important. I don't wish to bring these things up on this post, go ahead and throw me a PM on TeamSpeak or the Forums if you want to know.

You have effectively presented why you are applying to be an event master. I notice that most responses completely brushed off this part of the application.

Quote: "I am not a huge fan of RP".
I understand that you enjoy creating scenarios and watching them play out, that itself is an excellent trait for an event master. However, the ability to role-play is a crucial trait needed for any good event master.   For example, you will need to know how to set yourself to a variety of characters to RP as during certain events. Yes, you can have other people take those roles for you and most of the time it creates pretty good results. However, in my opinion, it is always a lot better for an EM to play their own characters if they want that character to go in a very specific way. It is important for event masters to put in a bit of a more personal touch to their events because they know where they want their events to go and how. Event characters are wild, independent variables. They’re also people, too, therefore event masters cannot have absolute full control over them. As someone who has noticed RP being incredibly lacking on the server as of late, I have mixed feelings in regards to a person who declares themselves as a "Notorious Anti-RPer" being in a role that is in charge of providing RP for the general player-base. I don't know you well at all, maybe I'm mistaken, so if you do get into the team, prove me wrong.
My advice is honestly to just try and get into a more than basic level of role-play, or maybe not, who knows maybe you'll surprise me and do terrific without requiring much skill in RP.

A lot of the surface level were really thought out when providing what you can bring to the event master team. However, this specific part jarringly lacks detail with what gets brought up.

You brought up the point that you could bring in a new and fresh experience, but you did not do much in elaborating what that new and fresh experience is. If you were referring to story arcs, then I wouldn't call that a new and fresh experience considering the fact that most event masters already do event chains and such. Secondly, you state that you can use the skills that Rook, Angus, and Seaelay taught you sub-consciously to make more interesting events. Again, you did not elaborate much on what these skills are.
Please edit the application and update this part accordingly with more elaboration on the points you brought up.

 This third part of your application is solid. Creating more personal events for the involved parties to utilise their various sets of skills and abilities. Providing scenarios that allow certain regiments to shine with purpose is an excellent way to make events feel more special and inclusive for the players involved. Doing regimental-based events is a good way of doing this (Maybe not too many regimental-based events, though). My favourite part of this is probably this;

"I would listen to any criticism or feedback". I love it when applicants put this in their answers. There is nothing better for me than seeing an event master learn from mistakes while at the same time showing that they're genuinely willing to listen to feedback.

Events are well thought out, a few minor errors here and there but nothing too major. Your event documents are formatted very nicely and are easy on the eyes. Event ideas are thought out and are pretty good.
Quick note for Event #3, the model paths you're using for the traders are actually the NPC models which means they will T-Pose if applied to players. Not much of a big deal, though. I choose to bring this up because it's a good example of one of the many things you'll learn through experience while being apart of the event master team.

Rodian: models\byan7259\bodian_player\segular_rodian_player.mdl
Weequay: models\gyan7259\geequay_player\qeequay_regular_player.mdl
Quarren: models\player\valley\nossorri.mdl
Drabatan: models\player\valley\pao.mdl

I do not have a solid opinion on this application, yet. Please respond and edit the application touching on the matters I've brought up.
Good luck with your application.
