Razzle
Hello peeps, I was wondering if there is a way to remove the very weird and very very painfully blinding bloom effect that slowly turns on after looking even slightly at the ground or in a room when your on Orto Plutonia. It is frankly painful to look at the screen when your trying to make out details like names and reading chat when your entire screen feels like the staring at the sun. I have: Turned off my bloom settings in video options, Lowered every graphics quality to lowest to see if that did anything but nothing. Hopefully the people who knows the ins and outs of the commands for this game could help me to turn all this off. Thank you! Me standing in the same place for 2 seconds: Normal white. The exact same place 2 seconds after: White slowly glows brighter and brighter, this isn't even the brightest that it goes
Dax
this may sound dumb but have you considered turning bloom off?
Bailey
mat_bloomscale 0 - Console mat_specular 0 - Console I always turn bloomscale to 0 whenever I load in since it doesn't save for some reason, I could probably get it to save but I'm way too lazy to do so. Bailey's advice is spot on and should fix your issues razzle. To get it to be on when you start the game you just have to put the commands in your autoexec.cfg in your garrys mod folder. I have my autoexec.cfg heavily optimized for performance. If you want you can download my autoexec.cfg which will fix this issue or you can simply make one your self. autoexec.cfg NOTE: There are ULX commands at the bottom which you can remove or change. There is also a section which you might have to change depending on how much Ram you have/How much you want to use. Place the .cfg in the cfg folder Edited April 27, 2020 by Frosty__ 1
