First of all this isn't a personal jab at anyone all i am saying is that there are a lot of people who are not ShockT/RT or ISB who think they can just go through without presenting their id or reasoning. You may have the clearance but you do not have permission to just run through at will and someone not being at the checkpoint is not a reason to to just try and just run through.

Please tell me what you think. I hope everyone has a nice rest of your day after reading this.

you cant if they are inquisitors not presenting a reason because they just kill you and then there is nothing shock can do to them because ISB just let them off

Sith just need to show their lightsaber.

If they don’t then just do what you would for a trooper and AOS, ISB always follows up on people, regardless of what regiment they are in.

Security deck is like the another street and with that security door I don't believe its that important to have the whole level 2 blocked off like that.

The entirety of the security deck is an operation area, considering that there's a lot of important things such as the brig, armoury, ISB HQ, and the ISB's comms monitoring station.

I think I speak for all security and can safely say that we don't want the security deck to be filled with six stormtroopers walking around and disturbing operations.

Regarding the blocking of level 2, as Kris said, key security assets are located within the floor. Having it open to everyone wouldn't really make sense considering no one would really need to be there without a reason.

We could say the exact same thing about the Flight Deck, but we don't. The Level 2 area houses Security Operations only therefor there's no reason to actually be on that floor except to loiter around key areas.

But @Kristofer , ISB and armoury are not past the checkpoints that Shock and Riot guard. I'm talking about going from tramlines to the main elvator through level 2 which doesn't affect you, especially when you guys just stay behind a door that seems to be closed 24/7.

Laws are laws, and there serves no reason to enter Level 2, if you don't have a reason. There is a elevator outside tramline intended to get to Level 3, and the stairs to go down to Level 1. Don't create arguments that don't need to be created.

I'm also sure you like people that aren't good enough to walk through so you can get that AOS count for your promotions?

That's an attack on SK/RT, not ISB.

Sith should not be randomly killing, this was agreed upon when we brought back the killing, if you have like you stated been killed please tell me when so I can start to investigate and start to take the appropriate actions.

Hey @Farmer,

Just thought I would put in my two cents on this topic as I know it is a highly debated area of concern within the server. My stance on the matter is that no one unless on the exclusions list or unless authorised should be entering the floor without presenting a valid form of Identification this is primarily due to the fact that the only locations housed on this floor are security related, these being the ISBHQ, the Brig and the Armoury (as well as bunks). If a person fails to present ID and runs through the checkpoints and does not have the authority or exclusion privilege in order to do so then you should place an AOS on the individual as there is signage clearly dictating the punishments for trespassing. Additionally, if members of the inquisitorius are trying to pass through standard protocol dictates that they must ignite their saber (as a form of identification) and if they proceed to enter without doing so you are within your rights to AOS them or contact the Grand Inquisitor so he can deal with the matter internally (alternatively you can speak to a member of management if the matter proceeds to extend out of the confides of an RP fixable scenario).

In addition to the standard identification and reason checking there are also other factors you must take into consideration, the biggest of which being ID checking for Very Important Persons (VIP's) and their guards that will be escorting them. The relevant documentation outline how to deal with the two mentioned areas can be found at the following link and is something that is commonly overlooked which results in unnecessary AOS's due to miscommunication and confusion amongst 2 or more parties.

Weve had this chat when the security deck cl3 was first introduced. When at the time the question of sith and the ID came up you we where told that you are allowed to ask them for a reason it is your job. As wolf said if they kill you, you can complain. Furthure more if they or ANYONE at that fact just willy nilly walks in to the security deck its a automatic AOS.
