Anyone in IG a fellow photographer as well? I love taking photos. It's by far one of the most rewarding hobbies I have gotten into. Here is my favorite photo I've taken:

I encourage any other hobby or professional photographers of IG to post their images below as well!

Original

As for the story behind this picture,

Flashback about 3-4 months and I was working on a new photography portfolio and I decided to do some nature shots. I took a couple hits then took an Uber (responsible me!) to a local forest called Elfin Forest. Now at this forest, it has some of the most beautiful greenery I have ever seen as well as being teeming with life (See below) so I decided that the best way to get a shot was to take the trail running along a river.

Once on the trail I was walking around observing the beautiful day in Southern California and saw a butterfly flying around. By holding still and using a telescopic lens, I was able to capture the shots you see above at the perfect moment.

Bonus image is from a local car show, showing a C1 Corvette. I edited this one a bit but most of it is from the sun

My Father, whenever we go anywhere he takes his camera. When my Mother and Father were in Shiga-Kogan Japan (I was in Osaka - Oppisiote sides of the Country) they went to this Snow Moneky Sanctuary. So when he was there with her he snapped this picture of an old Snow Monkey

Always been interested, took photography for years back in high school, but the prohibitive price of lenses & gear coupled with the many, many wallet-killing hobbies I'm also keen on meant that photography sadly got the cut
