Dexoys
Over all the SWRP servers all of them had the same training formula, "yeah mandatory training, you just do these three things four minutes each now lets do a breaching course". In general, it doesn't work for most people and whenever open training happens those usually get a lot of attention due to being able to do anything. Thats why I just want to talk about a new training formula that you don't have to use 100% of all your training sessions but like atleast every 3rd session to assist your trooper. Version 1. Basic Training All the basics are available to practice in this variation, each course with at least one supervising trainer (minimum Clearance Level 2). Your troopers need free choice instead of doing climb swep for five minutes then moving on to something else that last 5 minutes. You can add extra rules to make it a little bit more strict if you decide to this or the one below. Version 2. Specialist Training Same thing as Version 1, instead of the basic, faces, climb swep or shooting training, its multiple special courses that your troopers can participate in at anytime. Such as, Breaching, Moving Targets, Realistic Terrain (Climb Swep Course but based on terrain from off-ship maps like a very steep mountain), TDM, Capture The Flag, Hardcore Mode (low hp and have to survive a shooter) or dueling. Again this isnt a mandatory thing, commanders or training supervisors can use this idea or edit this idea for their training session but I suggest you dont use these 100% of the time. Didnt put this in suggestions cause its more about its players not the server or forums and its an optional thing the commanders decide. Ay I am a banned guy my opinion doesn't matter yeah, shush don't say that. Thanks for reading. Have a good day. Like 2 activities, TDM and Realistic Terrain, that'll at most last 1 hour.
Dexoys
Actually maybe this should be called Individual Improvement Training Formula quality over quantity, quality counts in what makes a regiment good, and its the individuals in the regiment. Some tryouts usually only look at what the trooper is currently able to do, but if they fail you can usually blame it on their lack of experience/training, and with this formula it would improve their skills in all of both basic and special skills. As a wise man once said, "Perfectly balanced as all things should be". The potential of a trooper is often overlooked especially in tryouts and training and I want this formula to help troopers reach that peak. Sully
This is a great concept I did something similar to the specialist training when I was 2IC of DT. I ran a tactical realism hostage retrial simulation which was around 250-300 props of a fully made compound involving a briefing and planning phase prior to insertion. I also ran several 'rat hole' TDM simulations which involved troops facing off against an opposing force hunkered down within a large bunker and trying to weasel them out of hiding in order to neutralise them and retrieve the VIP.
