Episode IX "The Rise of Skywalker" Theories!

Carnifex and I were sitting in a channel in Teamspeak and were theorizing about the new Star Wars Movie, just off of the Teaser Trailer and both had some interesting ideas in regards to the Trailer, Palpatine's laugh, who Snoke actually is, and on top of that, how they're going to end out the series.

What are your theories? Mine and @Carnifex's are below.

Bailey
Snoke isn't actually force sensitive, and Palpatine, working through him, made him believe he was, all displays of the force are Palpatine tricking him, so when Kylo was betraying him, Palpatine let Snoke die in order to secure Kylo's fall to the dark side.
All the Jedi boys are gonna come back and speak to Rey and instill her with knowledge about the Jedi, particularly Yoda and Luke, but not limited to Obi-Wan, Anakin, Mace Windu, etc.
The Sith boys are gonna speak to Kylo, especially Palpatine, possibly Darth Vader, since Anakin and Vader are separate entities and his force ghost struggles with keeping them both at bay and even possibly like Plagueis or older Sith Lords like Bane.
We also have the real basic bitch theories like Rey is a Skywalker, Palpatine was Snoke, Palpatine is still alive, Palpatine cloned himself, etc.
They fuck off the Dark side and the Light side of the Force and become Gray Jedi or something similar.
Snoke's not even real, Palpatine conjured him.
The Rise of Skywalker means that Kylo will become the Grand Master of the Jedi Order, influenced by the Skywalker's of the past.
Rey finds all the Jedi and Sith knowledge hidden away by Palpatine during the Empire.

Carnifex
Palpatine's force ghost is limited to the Death Star, which we see during the trailer, possibly on Endor, or its Forest Moon (not likely since the Forest Moon was mostly forested) and that the Death Star is a dark side nexus for him, drawing force users in where he can speak to them and influence them. Possibly where Snoke was molded by Palpatine.
Carnifex also agreed on my influencing theories in regards to Rey and Kylo being influenced by their respective sides of the Force.

That's all we've got, what are your theories?

At the end of Episode 9 it cuts to Qui Gon Jinn waking up horrified and delirious lying in a puddle of his own sweat trying to understand what had just happened in his nightmare. Seeking advice and wisdom he meets with Grand Master Yoda informing him of his nightmare the Grand Master puts it off to be nothing but a nightmare ending the movie with Qui Gon overlooking the the city below the Jedi Temple. pointing at the fact all of the events throughout the Star wars franchise was just a dream nothing else and nothing more.

I swear if we go nine episodes of official movies where the only involvement of Mandalorians is the wannabe Fett clan, I will develop a brain tumour from the number of aneurysms that will take over my being.

Oof, but yea I don't think we'll see any which is quite disappointing. I really want like a full-on battle involving Mandalorians, I think that would be awesome to watch.

Here's a theory to theorise with: Rose will turn out to be a First Order spy or something like that.

Evidence includes: (Only open if you have seen "The Last Jedi" or don't care about spoilers.)

Spoiler
  • Forcefully keeps Finn on the Rebel ship, probably to keep him from escaping.

  • The First Order version of Widow Squad tries to end Finn, but makes no attempt to kill Rose, they might have tried to kill her later but why wouldn't they just kill them both?

  • Literally saves the First Order from Finn's kamikaze attempt, and says,"We win by saving the things we love." THAT'S KINDA SUSPISH, DONTCHA THINK?

  • Explains her willingness to just let the Resistance's cheeks get clapped by the teenee-tiny deeth ster so cute heehee.

Okay, so my evidence is extremely limited, but that would be a cool plot-twist.
