[Resolved] Weapon Scope Issue

Afternoon,

I have been having an issue for a little while now and cannot seem to locate a way to fix it. My issue can be broken up into 2 pretty simple and self explanatory statements;

 

1. Typically with the E11-D blaster rifle when Aiming down sights (ADS'ing) you receive the weapons Iron sights. All other members in DT and CS (as far as I am aware) get these iron sights when they ADS.

2. When I proceed to ADS I do not recieve the standard E11-D iron sights, instead I recieve the scope seen when you ADS with the standard issue E11 (not a big pain/issue it is more so annoying)

 

I was just wondering if anyone knew any potential fixes for this issue as I would rather have the intended scope on the rifle as it feels a lot cleaner to use. I have only the ImperialRP and ClonewarsRP addons installed, so I am stumped on how to resolve it.

Delete anything with the name “TFA” and restart your game, tell me if that fixes it. Make sure to extract the add ons (once you have restarted) before loading into the server.

Had this in CS, tbh its not that big of a deal, but I had it when I was MSGT CS, and had it through most of my time in CS... so yeah, might have to deal with it for a while

 

other then that: you have a decent scope... and can snipe people with that high damage weapon. so yeah.

 

 

P.S: tbh when I had this issue, I loved the hell out of it, because well... the iron sights on the E-11D are unreliable at the best of times.

Try unsubscribing from all tfa weapons and going to garrysmod/garrysmod/addons and deleting their .gmas ill check when i get home if there is any config files

I've had this issue before, like what Tank said you should unsubscribe then resubscribe to the addon. It worked for me.

I have unsubbed from all addons, deleted download file and re downloaded multiple times now. Does not seem to fix the issue, it more so annoying than gamebreaking but still want to fix it

Maybe it is a simple setting option in the tool menu, try tweaking some settings in the TFA Area.
