Applicants History & Reasons

Have you had any warns (If so state them): I have had no warns on this server

Have you had any bans (If so state them): and no bans

Have you been staff on any other servers or communities (If so state them): I've been staff on multiple servers but they are very old Gmod servers and most of them are dead and I do not remember the names but mostly it was dark RP

What do you believe is the purpose of Moderators on the server: the point of being a moderator is to keep the balance and peace' on the server. From people who I'm minging rdming fail rp etc. Another moderator Duty is making the player experience better and fun without having the constant threat of people trying to ruin their time.

Why are you applying to be a Trial Moderator: I'm applying to be a trial moderator because I've been on the server for a long time and I've seen it grow and I think with my experience and knowledge I could be a great asset to the server and bring some new ideas. But while that is happening I would also in force all this of rules. And personally I love the server and I want continue it's Legacy by making it grow even further. Another reason why I want to become a trial mod is because I can help with the minging, mass RDM and excetra that goes on at late hours and in early mornings. Also I know with this role and responsibility I have to be an example for other community members. My third reason is I enjoy helping people. example when they're either stuck have problems or someone else has broken rules. For my final reason I'm applying for trial moderator is that I love Star Wars Rp in general and I wanted see it go for a couple more years I love everything about it and i hope to see so much more.

What do you believe you can bring to the staff team: I can bring new ideas, a role model for other community members, a person who can force the rules and so much more. And I can also bring in a second opinion in on things and suggest a different way of thinking. I can also bring amazing activity throughout the coming months even going more bold to say years.

Scenarios

Someone Mass RDM’s and disconnects from the server. What do you do?: first I would check the logs and see the people that he kill then I would go to that said people  and check if it was an accident or there were some reason to doing. if not I will talk to that people about what happened and gather all evidence. And throughout this whole ordeal I will be completely bias to the victim and the person who broke the rules. After gathering all my evidence in coming to a conclusion I would hand out a punishment such as a ban or if it wasn't so severe a ward but if he was to kill five or more people I would talk to a senior moderator or an admin to see if we could get him permanently banned or if he were to return to the server I would freeze him jail him and talk him over what happened and what's going to happen and also get his side of the story.

Someone is bullying another member of the community. What do you do?: if I saw it personally or they would put in admin claim I will talk to the victim and see what has happened. Then I would talk to the person who was the abuser. I would both get them in a isolated place to talk about what happened and why they did it now if he was provoked or the other person was lying I would see if punishment would have to be given to either one person or to this punishment would only be a warning for harassing a player or player disrespect but if the victim for gave the other person I believe that he shouldn't be want but you would have to have full consent from the victim

You see a higher ranking staff member abuse their powers. What do you do?: first I would record them and get evidence of them doing it. then I would proceed to ask them to stop and if not I would have alert a higher ranking admin than him. I would also present the evidence to the higher up person to see if punishment would be given out. personally if he were to abuse his admin powers and his authority over people I would think we would be demoted and lose his rank of trial moderator if not that severe I would hand out a warning

Someone threatens to DDOS the server. what do you do?: first I get evidence of him saying that he would DDOS the server then I would immediately alert my superiors and try to get in contact with someone that can help me deal with it and if it was a threat I think they should receive a 48 hour band and if he were to proceed threatening the server I would suggest a permanent ban

NEUTRAL

Positives:

  • Friendly
  • Trustworthy and reliable (high rank shows this)
  • Active (playtime reflects this)
  • No warns
  • States that he has prior staffing experience
  • Good intentions

Negatives:

  • Application answers/responses weren't in depth and give a detailed answer
  • Multiple spelling and grammatical errors within the application (not a huge deal)

Constructive Points: (just a few suggestions on improvements)

  • In the SteamID section you put your SteamID64, i recommend you change it to your SteamID32 (generic steamid) as it allows the staff/management team to check information relating to your SteamID better.
  • Improvement could be made to allow for better ease when differentiating between questions and answers, my recommendation is that you change the colour of the text for the questions to a different colour to allow it to be easier to read and improve the overall formatting.
  • Under the section about what you could bring to the staff team you stated you can bring some new ideas. Further expansion on this, such as what the ideas are may help to allow the reader to get more broader idea on you and the way you think whilst also allowing you to show off some of your ideas to members of the staff team and the community as a whole

With all the above points taken into consideration I will be giving JD's Trail Moderator application a NEUTRAL and will keep an eye out to make a further re-evaluation on his application in the near future. Good luck and i wish you all the best with your endeavours as you strive to become apart of the Moderation staff team for Imperial Gaming.  You are (from what ive personally seen of you)  a well mannered and respectful member of the community and have taken your high ranking position within Vader's Fist with good passion and ability, regardless of the outcome I hope your success's within the server and community continue and look forward to engaging more with you.

Changing to a Neutral (leaning towards -1)

After the whole incident with Timtam, I question your maturity, being able to remain calm and figure the situation out. During the 'conflict' between you two, you had threatend Timtam with a "ban" cause you were a "Moderator in Training". You did try and resolve things with Timtam, eventually, but personally, it was quite disgusting the way you two acted. Especially the way you did.

Would really like to see an increase in maturity and your ability to co op with these type of situations before I change my mind

Good Luck!

Ello Mate~
Thanks for applying!
So I've read over your application and now I'm going to give my opinion on it:

  • From my time with you in the 501st and Vader's Fist I can tell that you're a mature member of the community (Bar a little Immaturity)
  • Your application is good a bit more detail would be appreciated though but that's just me.
  • Some grammar and spelling mistakes can be seen in your application.
  • You've been a long contributor and member of the community which means your dedicated. Which is good

All in all, you seem like a great candidate for T-Mod but before that you'll have to smooth out some creases.
If that happens then consider a swift opinion change but for now I apologise but I'll have to give a:
Neutral
Have a fine day~!
Your friend ~Mike
