Applicants History & Reasons

Have you had any warns (If so state them): I have a single warn for FailRP (Being outside the ship), issued on the 9th of July.

Have you had any bans (If so state them): I have no bans.

Have you been staff on any other servers or communities (If so state them): I have not been staff on any other servers.

What do you believe is the purpose of Moderators on the server: I believe the purpose of moderators on the server is to generally staff the server. While Admins and Senior Admins may focus on the bigger things, moderators focus on the small things. For example, a moderator may spawn a ship, warn someone who RDM'd, give tools, etc. Moderators mainly focus on easing the flow of the roleplay, while Admins and such may focus on the server itself.

Why are you applying to be a Trial Moderator: I am applying to become a Trial Moderator for the purpose of helping the server in any way I can. I wish to provide as much help as possible to the players of the server, and the Moderator position is the best way to succeed in fulfilling my wish.

What do you believe you can bring to the staff team: I believe I can bring someone who is always willing to help out whenever, and wherever possible. I am very active, and dedicate almost all of my free time to Imperial Gaming, so activity will not be an issue on my part.

Someone Mass RDM’s and disconnects from the server. What do you do?: I would first grab the SteamID of the person disconnecting, and check logs to see if they actually did RDM multiple people. For this scenario lets say that there was 4 people who got killed. I would then proceed to warn the player for "RDM x4 | Disconnecting to avoid punishment".

Someone is bullying another member of the community. What do you do?: I would talk to the person who is claiming to be bullied and the bully individually. I would also ask the person being bullied if they have any recorded evidence, and if the bully had any counter-evidence. After seeing both sides of the story, and concluding that the person is indeed being bullied by the other person, I would warn that person for bullying, and contact the person being bullied telling them that it has been resolved. If the bullying continues, I would speak to Wolf as he has stated that anyone caught bullying will get a 5 year long ban.

You see a higher ranking staff member abuse their powers. What do you do?: First, I would gather evidence of the staff abusing their powers, either through screenshots, or through video footage. I would also try not to be seen by the higher ranking staff while recording the incident. After gathering the evidence, I would hand it in either to Whitey, or to Wolf. I would also state the context that the abuse of power took place in. Whitey/Wolf would handle it from there.

Someone threatens to DDOS the server. what do you do?: I would first check chat logs, and speak to anyone who may have witnessed the threat. After concluding that the person does indeed have intent to DDOS the server, I would immediately permaban them, with the reason: "Threating to DDOS the server" and keep the evidence, to make sure the person doesn't get unbanned.
