AFKing Hours

Ok so I have been afking when I go to bed and when I go to school and I leave my pc on while still on the server (regular thing to do), and I have been told multiple times thats its either 'bannable' or 'warnable', then I go to a admin and every response I have gotten is its not bannable or its not warnable and i'm just posting it here to get an answer once and for all if its bannable or not, and also I have no intentions of applying for EM or staff I just leave my pc on for the sake of nothing and just gain hours that supposedly makes me a 'coward' and a 'cheat' to most people which i find obnoxious.

Cheers xx

The issue is, when people AFK to get their hours up for a application, be that Moderator, PAC or Event Master. If it is known that you AFK your hours, and people don't see you active enough, then 1 week is nothing, in comparison to the actual amount you may of played. If you have no clear intent to do this, then I am unaware if this is in fact, bannable.

However, your public relation may diminish if you claim to have 'played a lot' if your hours are mostly AFK, when applying.

Thanks xx

Maxine.

Yes i understand all of this but im not gradually getting my hours up to apply for EM or staff im just literally leaving my pc on for no reason and just getting hours up, its not to gain anything, and its legit causing so many people irritated for me doing this

Isn't there the thing that stops people from being afk? everytime you don't move for a few minutes you get a message saying you've gone afk?

I leave my PC on from around 12AM-7AM and im still on server in my same spot so not to sure

Yeah that stops your rank level from progressing but i believe your overall playtime count still progresses.

Stops you from getting points from the pointshop, which is useless as we don't even use it. Stay there for 24 hours and you will gain XP the whole time.

No rules against AFKing overnight, doesn't hurt anyone unless there are no slots on the server. Does help us on gametracker if we have people stay on throughout the night though. ;)

Thankyou for this comment much appreciated

Will we ever use pointshop?

Not against server rules, just unethical to get up hours by AFK'ing. Just play and get the hours. Get the experience and meet new people. If you have 1 week playtime and apply for EM and no one knows you, you'll get a lot of neutrals or -1s for not being known enough or trusted. A lot of people see it as a moral issue. If your willing to abuse the system to gain hours instead of just accumulating them whilst playing, leaves people with a questionable impression.
