What do you believe is the purpose of Moderators on the server: I believe that a moderator on Imperial Gaming is quite important, they enhance Roleplay situations and making it fun and enjoyable for others by removing or warning the minges or people with no intent to Roleplay. Ext. Not only that also responding tickets for people that are stuck or that need tools for training. That is what a moderator does they aren't just the mean guys that warn or ban people they are here to help out with the server and make it enjoyable for others playing on the server. If we didn't have moderators Imperial Gaming wouldn't be as joyful as it is today. Why are you applying to be a Trial Moderator: I am applying for Trial moderator because I wish to help out by making people's experience better as well as making mine better. I have always wished to be a moderator for any Star Wars RP servers but I have never really liked any servers until I found Imperial Gaming. Now that I have found a nice server with a nice community I want to try help out by doing the best I can by removing minges or helping out the good players. That is why I think that Trial Mod is for me. What do you believe you can bring to the staff team: I can bring determination, hard work and activity on the server. I am a little bit new with this stuff but I think I can learn things really quickly. (example I joined Navy not knowing how to do much now I have been promoted up to Crewman in 4 days because of my quick learning) I am active most days especially in the holidays averaging 1-5 or 6 hours a day not on holidays not only being active mid-day but early mornings too because a lot of things happen early mornings when there are only 1 or 2 people online. When I get a task I always try my hardest and not rush anything like doing RP comms or having an in-game meeting. That is what I CAN bring to the staff team. Scenarios Someone Mass RDM’s and disconnects from the server. What do you do?: First of all, I would check the logs to confirm the person’s name that did the offence and the people that got RDM'd names just in case I needed to obtain any more proof or question them to find their side of the story. Then obtain the offenders steam id and punish the rule breaker accordingly. Someone is bullying another member of the community. What do you do?: I would get the two players teleported to a private place and ask for the story on both sides to see their sides of the story if it was legit I would warn the bully. After warning the bully I would keep a watch on the bully to see if he/she would do it again. If they did do it again I would contact another admin to ban the offender or ban the offender my self if I had the powers myself and inform the victim that bulling on IG is not tolerated and they won't be attacked like that ever again. You see a higher ranking staff member abuse their powers. What do you do?: I would go cloak and no clip to record or take screenshots of the person abusing their powers and if I got enough evidence I would send it to a higher ranking moderator/admin so they could take action in the ways needed like removing moderator or demoting them. Someone threatens to DDOS the server. what do you do?: If someone were to threaten to DDOS the server I would immediately contact management as soon as I could. Once I had got a hold of them I would send them screenshots, videos or even bringing the offender and show the management proof of DDOS threat. If the DDOS'ing looked like it was happening I would let management know and try to assist in fixing the problem in any way. What do you believe you can bring to the staff team: I believe that I can bring a Positive attitude, Lot's of man hours and hard work into trying my best to keep the server running smooth and clean from toxic or bad players, I also believe that I can really make a difference and help out in the community. Another helpful part is having a good relationship with the current staff member's which I believe help's a lot if I ever was to work on a case with someone else. What do you do?: In this situation I would go to the person getting bullied and get their side of the story to make sure that everything is legit and they aren't just making everything up, then I would go and speak to the bully face to face and hear their side of the story to make sure I get all of the information before jumping the gun. After hearing both sides of the story and finding out that he/she is, in fact, bullying the other person I would First give them a Verbal working and Tell them that bullying is a Big problem and if they continue to do it there will be some very Big punishment's, I would then also inform a higher ranking staff member so that they also know and can help keep an eye out on the situation at hand. You see a higher ranking staff member abuse their powers. What do you do?: In the situation of a staff member abusing his powers, I would confront them straight away and ask them why they are abusing their powers. I would have all of this as evidence because I record none stop on the server just in case situations like this happen, I would then join a TeamSpeak channel with a RED TAG and speak to them about the case I have built and show them any evidence that I have to support what I am saying, then I would leave it to the RED TAG's to make their choice in what to do and keep myself ready if I get pulled back in to talk. Someone threatens to DDOS the server. what do you do?: If a player threatened to DDOS the server I would instantly get their steam ID, Move myself into a channel on TeamSpeak with a higher ranking staff member and inform them of the situation as quickly as I could to get the matter resolved. I also believe that being a moderator doesn't give you special privileges when it comes to also following the rules of the server and you must not abuse your powers, Such as Teleport around the ship or map just to start RPing in that area, or Giving Tool guns to my friends when they do not need it for Building or Tryouts. What do you do?: I would do !goto (name) and have a talk with the person who is getting bullied and find out what the bully is saying to them to make sure that i know as much about the situation as i can before i start blaming people for things they might not have done, but if they did it i would goto them and ask them why they are bullying someone else on the server, and tell them that if they do not stop they i will be forecd to either Warn/kick and if it goes even further they might get banned from the community. What do you do?: Firstly i would get my recording software up and running filming my screen and then i would approach the Abusing Staff Member and ask them why they are doing what they are doing to insure that they are actually abusing there powers and i would ask them to stop and tell them that i will have to report this to a Red Tag, Where i would upload the video to Youtube and give the link to a Red Tag to make the final Decision. Steam Name: DolmioSteam ID: STEAM_0:0:176852087 In game name and rank: Dolmio, Prophet Time Played: 1week, 5days, 5hours Why are you applying for this position?: I feel as though I could be a a great help to the Imperial Gaming Community as well as being a strong role model for troopers and other community members. I also feel as though sometimes people on the server late at night start to RDM or minge. Even though it's late and there's only 8 people on, sometimes minging can get annoying for other players and RDM is not pleasurable for anyone no mater what time it is. So, I would like to be able to try to prevent things like that from happening during both "minge hours" and RP hours. How will allowing you to be apart of our staff team help us: I have experience in being a staff member on other servers. I know ULX commands as well as how and when to use them. I will be a moderator that is helpful and not negelctful and I wil respond to everything I can. Whether it be tools for tryouts, warning minges and random deathmatchers, or any misbehaviour issues or any other way that I could help.
