Over my almost year of playing on Imperial Gaming i am yet to receive or even get close to getting a warn. Have you had any bans (If so state them)? No, nor have i even come close! Have you been staff on any other servers or communities (If so state them)? My only staffing experience was as a Mod on Imperial for around 3 months before having to resign to deal with IRL stuff. I am yet to have any experience as an EM and would love this to be my first! Why are you applying to be an Event Master? I am applying to be an event master as after almost a year of playing [With a 4 month break] on the server I have always been able to participate in events which I am able to see bring happiness to many people in the community and I want to be a part of the crew of people bringing joy to this great server. I have always thought of events which I believe would be fun and instead of imagining them I would like to put them into effect for once. I also believe I could be a big part of the team who can help people have fun. What do you believe you can bring to the Event Master team? -If I were granted the chance to prove myself as an EM I would be able to bring an experienced, active and knowledgeable member to the team. -I have been apart of IG for almost 1 year [with a 4 month break chucked in] and in all that time i have seen many good and not so good events go by. With this i have been able to see the events that bring people enjoyment and keep them on the server and i have seen the events that make people leave and sigh when they see the big red text come up on their screen. From this I have learnt when a good time is for an event and what not to do if u want people to stay on, one of these being not doing off-ship events straight after a normal event ends or doing passive events after a 2 hour period of boredom, to name a few simple ones. For this i believe i could bring more enjoyable better timed events to stimulate the players. -As i am still in high school i am able to devote around 4-6 hours a night to the server. This means i am pretty much always available to fill a dull night with a nice action packed event to stop people from leaving. This also means i can just fill in those awkward gaps in the event times to help fill a night in. -Though never being a EM before i believe that through my long experience on this server i have collected a great number of ideas and methods which it could take a normal TEM months to learn meanwhile i have already bared witness to these little tricks and perfections which just make events that little bit better making people enjoy the community. I have also seen most likely hundreds of events which has enabled me to have a wide sample of ideas and methods to work off to make great enjoyable and well timed events. What do you believe you can do to make Events more fun, enjoyable and inclusive? I believe a big part of what makes events fun is when they flow and are not forced. I would try to make this happen as much as possible in my events and would also debrief generals on the events for the less technical ones and allow them to do what their RP job is instead of forcing certain scenarios onto them and try keep events original and enjoyable. I would also do my best to bring every person into an event by for example having a passive side and an aggressive side going on with an event allowing a larger portion of players to be involved hopefully creating more enjoyment. For the people who are the actual EC's I would do my best to allow them to have fun as well by enabling them to make more choices instead of using them as puppets which pushes them away from asking to by EC's which can ruin events when understaffed. I would not allow this to get out of control though and would make sure that the event still flows in an orderly fashion and not have people appearing around the Ship/map in turn ruining the event. I believe doing this would make more people want to become a part of an event bringing enjoyment to even more people, Do you have basic knowledge of ULX commands? I can use a microphone just not when my family is going to bed early.Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:62457820In-game name and rank: ST PVT FrostyTime Played: A couple of hours.Why are you applying for this position?: I had some ideas in OOC and people wanted me to try and apply for TEM or Trial Event Master.How will allowing you be a member of the staff team help us?: As apart of the staff team even when i am not making an event I can still help with the problem of minges. If need to be I can be both TEM and a normal staff member so i can help when I am not planning events. As A staff member I will make sure in the best of my abilities to make sure people follow the rules given.Have you been an Event Master on previous servers? If so please list them: I have not been titled Event master but I have helped set up and make events as an Admin a couple of times.Have you had any warnings, kicks or bans if so please list them: I have not had any warning on Imperial Gaming. I have also not been kicked on the server either. I try to stay positive in the RP environmentWhat can you do to make events more enjoyable and attract more people?: I can make events more interesting for people and try and make it to where every event it different. I will try to make it so that everyone has a fair chance in the event and it will not target certain battalions to do things. Anything else you would like to add: I would like to add that I am not in Australia I am in America therefore I will be on different times of the day compared to you guys.Two different example events that you will do if you get accepted for the position of Event Master: Event 1: Troubles on Geonosis: The ship has been hit with a nearby distress signal coming from Geonosis. Upon receiving the distress signal came a message implying that an Ambassador of the Empire was traveling on a Imperial Shuttle which has crash landed on Geonosis. The Fleet personnel and army personnel are required to jump to Geonosis to save the Ambassador. Upon arriving, on Geonosis, the troopers will be taking 2 imperial shuttles down, 1 with the Troopers in it, the other being an empty one. When they are flying down and landing upon the planet the shuttle without the troopers in it gets shot down. the pilot of the second Shuttle started evasive maneuvers and initiated an Emergency landing. Upon landing on Geonosis the troops receive word from command that a Rebel Fleet has been hiding on the planet and is preparing for planetary takeover. Command also informs the Storm Troopers that there is an Imperial Ambassador who is being held captive by a Rebel Commander. The Storm Troopers will need to fight through waves of Rebels to get to the command structure to get the ambassador on time. Important Roles: Ambassador, Command, and Ground Commander. 2 Possible outcomes. 1) The Ambassador is saved by the Storm Troopers, and has been brought back onto the Star-Destroyer for further questioning on the situations. 2) The Ambassador is killed and given rebels Intel on how to board the Star-Destroyer and plans to sabotage. (leads into second event) Event 2: The Rebels Strike Back: This event leaves off is option 2 was the outcome of the last event described above. Since the Ambassador was killed and has given the rebels key information about how to board the Star-Destroyer. The plans that were given are able to disrupt the Star-Destroyers Shields allowing rebels to board the Star-Destroyer. The boarding process starts off with a couple of volunteers playing as rebels flying a landing craft into the hangar. As soon as they land People will start to spawn squads of rebel troopers who will hold off in the Hangar. (The Rebels should win the first skirmish.) After the first wave of Imperial Troopers fails the Rebels try and push out of the hangars trying to sabotage the Engines, Bridge and Weapons Bay. The Rebels manage to succeed with the Engines and managed to get a small force on the bridge. The Imperial Storm-troopers will have to Take back the Engine room and repair the engine, while trying to eradicate all remaining Rebels on the ship. Objective is to pacify the Rebel Commander and be interrogated in the prison for rebel plans for attacks. The Rebel Commander will be reluctant at first but soon fails to Imperial Interrogation techniques. The Rebel Commander will end up telling them about a secret base on Rishi-Moon (or different map). The Imperials will start to plan the next attack. Important roles: Ambassador, Rebel Commander, Rebel Pilot, Interrogator. 2 Possible outcomes: 1) The Ambassador lives and the Rebel Commander is interrogated. 2) The Ambassador lives or dies, and Rebel Commander was killed.
