I have received 1 warn for FailRP on July 2nd 2019 Have you had any bans (If so state them)? I have not received any bans during my time on Imperial Gaming Have you been staff on any other servers or communities (If so state them)? I have been staff on many servers and as of currently I am a moderator within the Imperial Gaming Staff Team. Servers of which I have been staff on include: Macro Imperial RP - Super Admin Imperial Gaming Imperial RP: Moderator (Current) Four Star Imperial RP - Junior Event Master What do you believe is the purpose of Support Team on the server? The purpose of a Support Team member is somewhat close to the role of a Moderator. A Moderator helps the community while ingame on the server. They specialise in making the community a more consistent and viable space and during this process are also providing aid to members of the community with situations such as the communities concerns or inquiries whilst on the server. In comparison to this, the role of a Support Team member is to provide help and assistance to the members of the community that are experiencing technical difficulties with their currently running application or interruptions when attempting to log onto Imperial Gaming. The Support team focusses more on the behind the scene kind of work and specialises in repairing people apart of the communities applications or troubles whilst attempting to log on to Garrys Mod or Imperial Gaming. Why are you applying to be a Support Team Member? I am applying for a Support role in the Imperial Gaming community as I believe I can expand my positive impact on the in the community to something larger and not only help people ingame with their concerns and inquiries but also help people outside of the server with their troubles whilst attempting to log into Imperial Gaming or launching Garrys Mod initially. What do you believe you can bring to the Support team? Some things I could bring to the Support Team is experienced in a staffing role such as a moderator and Event Master. Having experience as other staff roles has effectively made it easier for me to get my personality across as an individual. I find myself to be easy to be interpreted and always patient with those who are having troubles with their game or content. Furthermore, as a current staff member, I am required to be in Teamspeak at all times whilst being on Garry’s Mod. My point in saying this is that I will always be available to help someone out with their game and my availability will be extremely high whilst on the server, apart from the occasional times when I am dealing with other staff duties. Do you understand that you are required to join the support channels and provide assistance to people at all times? Yes Why should you be selected over other applicants I believe that I should have the upper hand over other applicants because of my ongoing dedication to the server. I aim to make the server a more consistent and engaging environment for all whilst ingame or out of Garry’s Mod. However, for this to happen you have to come from the roots of where the problems are first occurring. I believe that helping people with their issues whilst out of Garry’s Mod with things such as Lua Panic or Content Issues will severely affect the way in which people will behave when OOC and inhand make the community a more consistent and engaging environment by ensuring all members of the community are utilising an RP experience they are entitled to as a member of the community. General Support Guide Hi all, This is going to be a general support guide for anyone who needs help with forums, community and server related issues. Support is a common need within members of the community, and hopefully this guide should open your eyes into what you should do if you run into a problem. Support Hub / Search Guide Firstly, if you are able to identify the problem you are having, it is recomended that you make a quick search for topics to find any possible related issues and resolutions. This can be easily done using the search bar in the top left corner of the forums site, and changing search teams to 'Topic' Changing the 'Search in' option allows you to refine your results a bit. Lua Panic is a perfect example, we have plenty of topics posted on the forums in order for you to fix this! Additonally, you are able to just search through the support hub and look at different solutions. Requesting Assistance from Support Team If you're issue is not resolved by this stage, it is reccomended that, if you have the time you join the teamspeak server (syd.streamlinegames.com:10012) and join the Support channel related to you. Here you will find 3 waiting rooms; [Need Assistance] General Support (General Support, whether that be PC problems or any other variety of problems) [Need Assistance] Donation Support (Donation Support, for donations related issues - probably can usually be forwarded to a staff team member.) [Need Assistance] Garry's Mod Support (Lastly Garry's Mod Support, for any Garry's Mod, and Garry's Mod server related issues) Joining the appropriate room allows the correct member to join and provide the best support to you possible! Forums Support System Lastly, we have a support system on the forums! This system allows Support, Development and Managment Team to view your issues, and give you replies and resolutions in our time without the use of teamspeak, as well as logging issues for possible future reference. It also gives options for Staff Reports, Bug Reports and etc, a very useful tool on the forums. The Support Team thanks you for coming to us with issues as well, it allows us to research resolutions for other community members, and give us a look into what issues any servers might be having so we can report it to the appropriate people, so your time is much appreciated by us :). Steam Name: Veybur Steam 64ID: 76561198373373912 In game name and rank: Veybur PFC (SM) How old are you?: 18 Time Played: 1w 5d 4hrs Do you have a microphone?: Yes I use it frequently to chat to people on the server and in both TS3 and Discord. Why are you applying for this position?: I am applying for this position as I have accumulated a fairly decent amount of time on the server, and throughout this time I have witnessed various Technical Issues in which I have feel I have the necessary experience to help fix and prevent further issues. The Imperial Gaming Community is one of the best communities I have had the opportunity to play alongside with and I am grateful for that, However to know that I am able to play with such a community where as others experience difficulties that restrict them from doing so makes me feel as if it is my duty to try to the best of my abilities so that others may experience Imperial gaming as I have with no issue. How will allowing you to be apart of our support team help us: As stated previously I firmly believe that I have the required experience to assist in a variety of issues that have been known to occur within the server. I have attended a number of IT courses which in turn have granted me a great deal of knowledge when dealing with websites and other technical issues such as donations and connection issues. In addition to this, I have always tried to fix any issue I and or any of my friends have had, and to an extent even though this is a small number of people even others within the IG community 100% to the best of my ability. For those who have asked for my assistance in the past will know that if a method I suggest to them fails I will not hesitate to find other means of fixing the issue and will not cease to do so until it has been resolved. Anything else you would like to add: I understand that people may have no idea who I am and this is completely fine, this is mainly because I only just recently returned to the server as I needed a break from IG due to some personal family matters, but never the less I am now back. Should this app be denied due to a lack of experience with other players on the server, or just applying for this to soon, I will make it my utmost responsibility to help and gain the favour of all you wonderful people, and finally I greatly Appreciate whoever reads this for taking the time to read over this application and give any feedback if so.
