  1. Steam Name: [IG] Kamelieon SteamID32: STEAM_1:0:195575399 Steam Profile Link: https://steamcommunity.com/id/Kamelieon In Game Name: [NS-02] Kamelieon Time Played Imperial RP: 6w 4d 1h + Time Played Imperial RP Evidence Have you used PAC3 Before? Yes Why should you be trusted with PAC3? I believe I should trusted with PAC3 for multiple reasons which mainly include my history and knowledge of PAC3. I have been on Imperial Gaming for a long time and have stayed loyal to the community, although I left I tried to visit oftenly as I missed the server. I have had a lot of experience with PAC3 and have been trusted with PAC3 in the past as i am a former PAC3 user on the server. While having the editor I never used it to go against role play and would only use OOC PACs when there was a really low amount of players. Why do you want access to PAC3? I wish to have access to PAC3 to enhance and make role play more immersive for not only for myself but for the whole community. Having the editor allows my character to develop more of a personality and I can stand out by adding more to my model for the role and rank I have. As a member of ISC I believe it expands the PAC3 creations I can create such as signal ‘wands’ for landings/take offs, maintenance tools and specially made ISC droids. There are a lot of new things you can do with PAC3 that were never used in the past and I would love to learn some of those to enhance my knowledge around PAC3. Why do you believe you deserve PAC3? As I would give myself a better reputation than others would, I can not really say that I "deserve" access to the PAC3 editor. But as I have to answer I'll say it anyway. Restating why I should be trusted, I have been trusted with the PAC3 editor in the past and in that time I have boosted the roleplay experience for others around me. I have high hopes to do this again and ensure the happiest and finest roleplay for the community. I am very familiar with the PAC3 and server rules and I will abide by them at all times if I get the editor. 2. Hi All, As some of you are aware there have been some changes to the forum lately. The reasoning behind this is to better manage applications as they are processed helping us reduce the wait times on applications. This is simply because of the increase in Management Staff as we continue to expand with another major announcement coming in the next couple of weeks. We may have even left some spoilers on our current platforms... Who knows. But this has meant for a change which will now be detailed in this post for you to understand. If you have a question post it below and I will try to reply when I can. Please refrain from general chit chat in this post! Application rule changes: 1. Your application when applying should be your best work. With 2 and a half years of examples now available you should be able to see what a quality application looks like. Once submitted this is you putting your best case forward and therefore the support will be instant. 2. +1 and -1 will disappear as it is currently known. Instead, a Poll with Positive and Negative Support will be used so that management can see straight away and provide you a response quicker. This obviously removes neutral - What you should do instead is not vote if you are unsure about something and instead ask a question, or get something clarified before making your decision. Also if you believe that you have information that pertains to why someone should or shouldn't be staff then post it in the application for others to see. For current applications, you do not need to transfer them but it would be highly appreciated by myself. 4. Once submitted all Management Team will receive a notification that a new application has been submitted. With this, we can see the community feedback, Applicants details, and the application immediately. So what you will do now for all applications will be as below: 1. Click on Open Applications on the top of the forum menu bar. 2. Select the appropriate application that you are looking for. Let's say PAC3 on Clone Wars. 3. Fill out all appropriate details for the application, for some fields they will have sanity checks as in the Steam ID and URLs to make sure you have put in appropriate detail. when it comes for images it will give you a nice attachment point. Once completed press "Save". 4. Once submitted all Management Team will receive a notification that a new application has been submitted. With this, we can see the community feedback, Applicants details, and the application immediately. 5. If accepted into the team then Approve will be pressed and you will be moved to the User Group. We will also be looking at one of these for the donation tag so we can process it quicker for members that donate.
  3. Steam Name: [IG] Peter Age: 22 Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:60720875 In Game Name and Rank: Peter, Assistant Colonel Time Played Imperial RP (Server Time/Screenshot evidence): 2 weeks 5 days (My game crashes on the Imperial Server) Time Played Clone Wars RP (Server Time/Screenshot evidence): Have you had any warns and/or bans (If so state them): Yes, I said a bad word in ooc on the CW Server Have you been event master on any other servers (If so state them): Yes on the imperial server Why are you applying to be an event master: I am applying for a position on the EM team as I believe that: - I have proved my dedication to the Server and Community - I have improved my attitude towards the Community - Would Like to dedicate myself to improving the Community - Would love to attract others to the Community What can you bring to the event master team: - I have a basic understanding of ulx commands, could use a refresher though - I am an active member of the Server - I am decent at writing - I am great at working as a team. What can you do to make events more enjoyable and innovative: - I want to add multiple Endings/Scenarios to my events, that being a result of how the troopers perform. - I would like to integrate RP for Navy into my Events as they are struggling RP wise on the server currently. Do you have basic knowledge of ulx commands: Yes Anything else you would like to add: I know this is incredibly similar to my first application, however, I do not believe anything needs to be changed. I have improved in the way I interact with the Community and members of the server, I hope you feel the same way. Big Mention: The reason this application is similar to the last is due to the layout of the EM application, the questions are quite simple and my event ideas have not changed. I understand people’s concerns. The Informant. STAGE 1: The event will begin as most do, involving a comms message from a Major General. The Troops will, as stated before, receive a transmission from a high up official of the Republic who alludes to the idea of a potential informant within the Republic. AS the idea currently stand, 4 ec's will be chosen, 1 of which will be given the role of CIS Contact (this role will be poked to a random individual, the rest of the EC's will not be aware. The inevitable goal of the Contact is to approach (none other than myself) and set up the plan for a data transfer... the real fun begins in stage 2. STAGE 2: The trick of Stage 1 is simple, the CIS Contact needs to make sure that he is not seen meeting up with 'Peter' as to not bring about suspicion, that is a crucial part of the event relating to the simple idea of 'neutral participation'. Troops will see the EC but will be unaware of the reason for his presence, nor why he is skulking around. Now for the true part of stage 2. Stage 2 properly begins with a simplistic Insect outbreak (yes overused but stay with me) the insects will be attempting to pry a CIS Operative out of a crashed ship, the goal of the troops is to bring this Operative back to the base for questioning, eventually out of almost nowhere a CIS lander will move in to intercept the last known location of their fallen Comrade, the goal for the EC's now will be to take back the Operative from the Republic's grasp before he is interrogated and the plan is pretty much foiled from the inside, therefore, compromising the mission and leading to the now inevitable capture of the previously mentioned (Stage 1) CIS Contact. If the troops lose the Operative or he is taken by the CIS the mission will be a failure. STAGE 3: This Stage will only be accessible if the Republic conducts their mission with absolute efficiency, which will be calculated by the number of losses/the time it took to complete Stage 2, Stage 3 has even more of a twist to it, allowing for both heavy RP and potential combat. First, the now captured Operative must be interrogated, he is weak willed so it won't take long, from then on the Republic will be informed of the informants' Code name no less, the Illustrious 'Retep'. From then on the individuals tasked with the interrogation must make sure the CIS, which are beginning their last-ditch effort of attack, do not get into the base. CIS, however, must obviously attempt to get into the base. If the CIS get into the base a secondary objective will begin, this objective ties into the acquisition of the now former Operative and the possible destruction/extraction of Republic intelligence (the data not the regiment). If the CIS succeed, the Republic will receive a small victory, as a result of the passing of Stage 2, however, the CIS would still have escaped. If the Republic does manage to hold back the CIS, A major victory will occur, that which may warrant a reward (must speak to management don't quote me on the reward part). Event Idea 2: An Attack on Kamino (Inspired by Battlefront 2) This event involves a CIS attack on Kamino, the Event will involve both NPCs and ECs (Later on) so that troops do not need to face enemies with massive amounts of health, while also gaining XP (from the NPCs). Stage 1 During Stage 1 the Clones will be transported to Kamino after the Navy receives a Distress Signal, they arrive on the planet which is currently experiencing a full-scale invasion. The Clones will be split into 2 Squads and must capture points of interest to halt the invasion. These Two squads will be decided either by an EC roe or Major General +. This Stage is quite Simple, the Clones must take the certain control points within a certain period of time, the Clones cannot 'lose' the event at this point, however, not taking the points will hinder the Clones in a terrible way. Stage 2 (If points are Captured) If the Control points are captured the CIS will begin to struggle, they are now cut off from points of interest and most of their transports are unable to reach the surface without GAR intervention... This begins Stage 2. Stage 2 involves the transmission for the Clones to the Greater 'GAR'. The Clones will be tasked with Defending a Certain location for a certain period of time while either RI or Navy attempt to send the aforementioned Transmission. If the 'Sender' is shot or injured the process will be halted momentarily. Stage 2 (Points are not Captured) If the Control Points remain in CIS hands, the Clones must reorganise and prepare for an all-out assault on Kamino, the Droids will have increased numbers, be in areas of strategic importance and will be harder to reach. During this, the Clones must eliminate all the Droids within a set period of time, if this is not accomplished Kamino will be lost to the CIS. Stage 3 (If Transmission is sent) If the Clones send the Transmission successfully, the CIS will be sent into retreat, the Clone have 'won' the event at this point, though they can attack the retreating Droids to potentially earn more XP or improve their regiment's placing within the Event. Stage 3 (If Assault Fails) If the Assault Fails the Clones must Retreat. During the retreat, the clones will be surrounded, out-manned and out-gunned. The only way to survive is to back up as quickly as possible (There will be no event placings if this occurs). Terms of applying: 1. You may bump your application every 7 days after the last bump/post (1 week) 2. Any user may provide feedback by +1 and or -1 your application 3. I understand that advertising my application can get it denied. I accept that I may be demoted at any time by a senior member of staff without prior warning, as long as a valid reason is given. I have read all the rules and understand them completely, if not I will ask a higher staff member for a better explanation.
  4. Steam Details Steam Name:[IG] Ashley Steam ID:76561198320432441 Steam Profile link:https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198320432441/edit In Game Details In Game Name: [Support] SSGT - X - Ashleyy In Game Rank:SSGT In Game Regiment: RST Time Played (Server Time/Screenshot evidence): 1W 1D 19H 38M 14Seconds Applicants History & Reasons Have you had any warns (If so state them): I have had 0 warns from Imperial Gaming staff and I wish to keep that statement so. Have you had any bans (If so state them): I have never been banned from Imperial Gaming staff and I also wish to keep this statement so too. Have you been staff on any other servers or communities (If so state them): No however I would love this to be my first community to have staff in. What do you believe is the purpose of Moderators on the server: The purpose of a Moderator (or any staff member for that matter) would be to help protect the server from people who break rules and who are toxic in the community. They take and use every resource they have to help make all members of the community (old or new) feel welcome. They are friendly and deal with matters quickly; they help set a nice calm feeling in the server ( throughout all of the day and night - even below twenty players- ). They are players who take their own spare time and volunteer help out the server in anyway they can whether it be with rule breakers, questions, people misbehaving etc. Why are you applying to be a Trial Moderator: I am apply to be a Trail Moderator for the reasons above and more. I personally, thoroughly enjoy playing on this server - all of my spare time is spent on it - I understand that I am fairly new to the server with about nearly 2 months on here, however from the moment i joined the server my intent was to RP and have fun. In fact upon my arrival here i meant Iris (one of the senior Moderators on the server). He, along with others who were there, ( sorry I can't remember you ) made a fantastic first impression on the server and was very kind. Iris also dealt with some troopers who were being very unkind to each other at the time. The situation was dealt with swiftly and smoothly and he wasn't mean about the whole thing he was kind and and simply told them to stop and they did. That's is what I want to do, just be kind, friendly and helpful towards other members of this beautiful community; dealing with situations no matter how small, whether it be just a minor argument in OOC chat or Mass RDM on the server, I just like to help out. I also am Applying for Trail Moderator because I think that while I am role playing on the server, I can then not only benefit myself by having fun, but others too, as i could help them if they had any inquires at all; furthermore I could help out with the speed of which a matter is dealt with. Say another staff member was busy I could go help out the person who needs it, while they are busy. ||||note the colour thing messed up here for some reason sorry |||||||| What do you believe you can bring to the staff team: I believe If you do accept me as a Trail Moderator I will strive to help the server more and help maintain the server as a positive positive place, along with the rest of the staff team. I shall help keep this server in it's current form of glory. Even though I may not be as experienced as everyone else, I will get better, I will keep the server in the state I joined it in, even hopefully improving it, and I will do my upmost best to be friendly and kind to everyone even if i may not like them, I will never be biased to anyone, I will always make sure everything is fair and everyone is heard. I will always keep server rules; no matter what. I can ensure you I will to do my best at all off this and all the tasks I have to do, If I'm accepted I'm willing to throw myself at this job. Scenarios Someone Mass RDM’s and disconnects from the server. What do you do?: I would firstly, go through the logs to double check I had the correct player and to copy the damage/death the player had committed and place it into an evidence folder, then I would grab there name and steam ID, ban them for 3 days ( the maximum amount of days a Trial Moderator can ban for) - I'd also make sure i was recording and save it for more evidence then just logs -. Someone is bullying another member of the community. What do you do?: I would firstly TP the victim of said bullying away from the scene. I would secondly ask their point of view of the situation at hand- I would write it down or have it on record -. After the victim had given their point of view, I would check logs to see what was said, If it was mean and offensive I would then Bring forth the "bully", I would ask for their point of view and then I would ask the victim If the wanted the bully to be warned for his actions or if they would be fine with just an apologise ( however if it is completely unacceptable; such as the use of strong/uncalled for language I will take action and make example of that is not acceptable and give them a warn for disrespect). You see a higher ranking staff member abuse their powers. What do you do?: It would depend on the person and circumstances. If it was wolf or kosmos or martibo or something then there is nothing much I can do about it, although if it was someone who was an admin or Moderator I would record the situations - trying not to get caught by the member off staff - report it to another member off staff off which i could get a hold off and then present footage off the incident with my video recorder I have. Someone threatens to DDOS the server. what do you do?: I would immediately go through logs and grab the key bits off information where the person who threatened to DDOS the server were talking about it - I would also grab there Steam ID and check through who they were and place that in an evidence folder - . Next I would place what I had recorded of the situation into said evidence folder . Furthermore I would check to see if it was a real threat then also place that in the note pad, then I would send it all off to a higher member off staff ( Admin or higher) who could deal with the situation at hand. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Things you can and cannot do/rules: 1. You may bump your application every 7 days after the last bump/post by a user (1 week) 2. Any user may provide feedback by +1 and or -1 your application along with constructive criticism/feedback as long as it's not personally attacking the applicant or another member of the community. 3. Advertising your application in OOC, chat box, personally telling people and any sort of social media will lead to your application being denied for minimum 3 weeks. 4. Failing to answer questions can lead to your app being denied. 5. False information can lead to your application being denied. 6. Failing to meet the requirements can lead to either your app being put on hold or denied. 7. 5 or more warnings and your application will be denied immediately. 8. Must have at least 1 week on the server before applying. 9. Must have less than 2 bans to apply (Depending on the situation). 10. You may not increase the font size of the application above size 14 except the title which may be size 24. 11. Please be considerate of others when using colours in your application, all answers must be left in white. 12. Remember that your application is a reflection of yourself, your professionalism and maturity. Not showing professionalism and maturity in your application will lead to it being denied. 13. If your application is denied you may not apply for Trial Moderator for 2 weeks minimum. Terms I, Ashley Cooper, accept that I am a representative of Imperial Gaming, and that I have been given these powers to make the experience of others better. I understand that advertising my application can get it denied. I accept that I may be demoted at any time by a senior member of staff without prior warning, as long as a valid reason is given. I have read all the rules and understand them completely, if not I will ask a higher staff member for a better explanation. Thank you for reading, sorry I'm really bad at applications and detail so i do apologise .

  6. Alright, so in light of various developments and complaints, MHC is once again looking for secretaries and receptionists to help out around the joint. There's going to be a similar tryout/application process as before, put in an app, do a meeting with me or another member of MHC, get told whether you made it or not. Unlike the previous around of applications though, no previous applicants will be put into consideration unless they apply again. Make sure that you also list what job you want to apply for as there are only 2 receptionist slots and 1 secretary slot. Fill out everything on the application. Put your applications below, the generals will have a look at them (as well as the current members of MHC administration) and that's all I can say for now. Application setup: What is your Steam display name?: What is your current in-game rank and regiment?: How much time have you spent on the server?: How active are you in-game and on the forums?: Do you have any kicks, warnings or bans?: Which job do you want to apply for?: What do you know about Military High Command?: Have you been the commanding officer or acting commanding officer of a regiment or organisation previously?: In your opinion/experience, what is a MHC Secretary/Receptionist and what do they do?: How will being a part of Military High Command benefit us and you?: How good are you at typing?: Do you know how to work a Google Sheets spreadsheet?: What previous experience have you had in an administrative role such as or similar to a secretary?: How much do you pay attention to the in-game chat window?: How serious of a roleplayer are you?: Do you understand/accept that, as a MHC Secretary/Receptionist, you will be undertaking mainly a administrative role and not a combat role?: Do you understand/accept that, as a MHC Secretary/Receptionist, you may not talk about private MHC affairs with any other unauthorised person or organisation?: Do you understand/accept that, as a MHC Secretary/Receptionist, you will undertake the responsibilities of (to some regard) running the Star Destroyer and Imperial Military and bear the consequences of any failures?: --- ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY THE 22/1/18. SUBMISSIONS THAT ARE LATE, NOT WELL DETAILED OR NOT SERIOUS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Look at this sheet to get the hang of the command structure in the MHC administration team: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1S1OeqNXDdbneUKF0ZTp2tHxfCkpObDV4RlEfoW1J7gc/edit?usp=sharing Good luck Stevo.
  7. Hello to everyone reading this. Recently there has been a large number of applications for both staff and PAC3 for the Imperial Roleplay server that I have wanted to talk about due to a large number of issues within the applications themselves. The first major issue that I have seen is people posting staff applications as a "funny joke" or because "they said to submit an application at debrief". A staff application is not a joking matter and should only be made by those who are actually wanting to apply for the position properly. It is true that the Imperial Roleplay team is looking to expand, but this does not mean that every player on the server has to put in an application just because they can. These is extremely rude and disrespectful to those who are actually, legitimately, applying for staff as it takes the attention away from their applications as everyone else is too busy reading your shitty application and responding to it instead of looking at the proper ones. The second major issue that I wanted to bring up was the fact that a large percentage of recent applications have been made where the applicant has written, in their application, that they do not believe that they are really good enough to actually get the staffing position whether that is because they have had a mingey past, because they haven't put more than five minutes into the application, haven't even had the time to answer all of the questions within the application template properly or because they are too young, immature or have a low playtime. For a player to submit a staff application, they should truly believe in themselves and they should only post it if they think that they have a good chance at actually succeeding in getting the position. I am tired of seeing shitty ten minute applications for trial moderator when the application has written down one to two sentences per question, puts down "valid" prior staffing positions *cough* minecraft *cough* and then at the end of the application write something along the lines of "I don't think that this application will be accepted but I thought that I may as well give it a go". NO, if you do not think that will be accepted then do us all a favour and click that red 'x' button at the top right hand corner of your screen and close your web browser. I am more than certain that posting one of these kinds of applications is only going to fuck up your reputation and your image on the server, rather than actually help it. The third major issue I see, and this is mainly for the Event Master applications, is can applicants actually put more than five minutes into an event and come up with new and unique ideas. I personally and sick and tired of reading applications that have one of the following, stock standard, unimaginative, shitty events. Imperial troops head down to *insert name* to go and hunt the Rebel Forces *insert name* attack the Star Destroyer Undercover *insert name* attack the Star Destroyer Imperial troops head down to *insert name* to track down *insert name* The Star Destroyer is damage and crashes into *insert name*, where the survivors are then attacked by *insert name* These kinds of event ideas have no originality, and if you can not come up with something that isn't one of these five event ideas, you do not deserve to become an Event Master. The only thing that I have seen recently that is worse than one of these five plot points, is someone, on an EVENT MASTER application, stating that they cannot come up with any events at the moment and that if you want some ideas of the events I will run, to go and speak to them in-game. NO, this is not on either. The point of the "write two events that you will run if you get the position" is to allow the community to see easily and clearly what kind of events you are going to run and how you will run them. Events take time to write up, I would know as I was Event Master for at least 5 months. The more detailed you can make your events in your Event Master application, the higher chance you will have for it being accepted. The fourth major issue I have seen in recent times is applicants not proof reading their applications, which would cut down on the number of spelling and grammatical errors, along with making sure that someone else can actually read your application. These things can be as simple as putting full stops and commas down in the correct places, using capital letters in the correct way And Not Typing Your Application Like This, knowing the difference between words such as to, too and two and there, their and they're. I am also tired of seeing lower case I's throughout peoples applications where is should be an upper case. It is these little things that can make or break your application, because people will pick up on it. If you are unable to structure a simple sentence together, you are in so way, shape or form ready to be a staff member on the server. There are also a few smaller issues that I wanted to bring up. When it says "If you have been staff on previous servers, please list them", it is talking about Garry's Mod servers. Things like Minecraft or Roblox staffing experience doesn't matter one bit here due to the nature of the game. Games like ARMA III or serious roleplay games could, however, matter due to the similarities between the server and them (such as being staff on a well-known ARMA III Life server, as it shows that you are mature and can roleplay well). The last minor issue I wanted to bring up was players on the server deciding to post staff applications after they have either been recently warned, banned or unbanned. If you have been warned on the server recently for a valid reason, it means that another staff member has decided that you do not know the rules of the server well enough and that they need to inform other staff members that you do not know this rule and that you have broken it, so if you do it again in the future, they will know. If you have been recently banned on the server it means that the staff members on the server saw it fit to restrict your ability to play on the server as you have broken the rules too many times or have done something completely in the wrong. If you have been recently unbanned, there is a one-month restriction placed upon you that does not allow you to apply for any position within the community whether that be a moderator, event master or for PAC3 access. You being unbanned was because the higher staff members have decided that you have deserved a second chance to play on the server. In saying this, that does not mean that you can apply for a position the moment you can, one month later. It takes time to build back up your reputation within the community. To those who have actually read this far, thank you. Hopefully, I have addressed all of the issues with recent applications and that this should begin to limit these things in future applications. Have a great day
