Steam Details Steam Name:[IG] Ashley Steam ID:76561198320432441 Steam Profile link:https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198320432441/edit In Game Details In Game Name: [Support] SSGT - X - Ashleyy In Game Rank:SSGT In Game Regiment: RST Time Played (Server Time/Screenshot evidence): 1W 1D 19H 38M 14Seconds Applicants History & Reasons Have you had any warns (If so state them): I have had 0 warns from Imperial Gaming staff and I wish to keep that statement so. Have you had any bans (If so state them): I have never been banned from Imperial Gaming staff and I also wish to keep this statement so too. Have you been staff on any other servers or communities (If so state them): No however I would love this to be my first community to have staff in. What do you believe is the purpose of Moderators on the server: The purpose of a Moderator (or any staff member for that matter) would be to help protect the server from people who break rules and who are toxic in the community. They take and use every resource they have to help make all members of the community (old or new) feel welcome. They are friendly and deal with matters quickly; they help set a nice calm feeling in the server ( throughout all of the day and night - even below twenty players- ). They are players who take their own spare time and volunteer help out the server in anyway they can whether it be with rule breakers, questions, people misbehaving etc. Why are you applying to be a Trial Moderator: I am apply to be a Trail Moderator for the reasons above and more. I personally, thoroughly enjoy playing on this server - all of my spare time is spent on it - I understand that I am fairly new to the server with about nearly 2 months on here, however from the moment i joined the server my intent was to RP and have fun. In fact upon my arrival here i meant Iris (one of the senior Moderators on the server). He, along with others who were there, ( sorry I can't remember you ) made a fantastic first impression on the server and was very kind. Iris also dealt with some troopers who were being very unkind to each other at the time. The situation was dealt with swiftly and smoothly and he wasn't mean about the whole thing he was kind and and simply told them to stop and they did. That's is what I want to do, just be kind, friendly and helpful towards other members of this beautiful community; dealing with situations no matter how small, whether it be just a minor argument in OOC chat or Mass RDM on the server, I just like to help out. I also am Applying for Trail Moderator because I think that while I am role playing on the server, I can then not only benefit myself by having fun, but others too, as i could help them if they had any inquires at all; furthermore I could help out with the speed of which a matter is dealt with. Say another staff member was busy I could go help out the person who needs it, while they are busy. ||||note the colour thing messed up here for some reason sorry |||||||| What do you believe you can bring to the staff team: I believe If you do accept me as a Trail Moderator I will strive to help the server more and help maintain the server as a positive positive place, along with the rest of the staff team. I shall help keep this server in it's current form of glory. Even though I may not be as experienced as everyone else, I will get better, I will keep the server in the state I joined it in, even hopefully improving it, and I will do my upmost best to be friendly and kind to everyone even if i may not like them, I will never be biased to anyone, I will always make sure everything is fair and everyone is heard. I will always keep server rules; no matter what. I can ensure you I will to do my best at all off this and all the tasks I have to do, If I'm accepted I'm willing to throw myself at this job. Scenarios Someone Mass RDM’s and disconnects from the server. What do you do?: I would firstly, go through the logs to double check I had the correct player and to copy the damage/death the player had committed and place it into an evidence folder, then I would grab there name and steam ID, ban them for 3 days ( the maximum amount of days a Trial Moderator can ban for) - I'd also make sure i was recording and save it for more evidence then just logs -. Someone is bullying another member of the community. What do you do?: I would firstly TP the victim of said bullying away from the scene. I would secondly ask their point of view of the situation at hand- I would write it down or have it on record -. After the victim had given their point of view, I would check logs to see what was said, If it was mean and offensive I would then Bring forth the "bully", I would ask for their point of view and then I would ask the victim If the wanted the bully to be warned for his actions or if they would be fine with just an apologise ( however if it is completely unacceptable; such as the use of strong/uncalled for language I will take action and make example of that is not acceptable and give them a warn for disrespect). You see a higher ranking staff member abuse their powers. What do you do?: It would depend on the person and circumstances. If it was wolf or kosmos or martibo or something then there is nothing much I can do about it, although if it was someone who was an admin or Moderator I would record the situations - trying not to get caught by the member off staff - report it to another member off staff off which i could get a hold off and then present footage off the incident with my video recorder I have. Someone threatens to DDOS the server. what do you do?: I would immediately go through logs and grab the key bits off information where the person who threatened to DDOS the server were talking about it - I would also grab there Steam ID and check through who they were and place that in an evidence folder - . Next I would place what I had recorded of the situation into said evidence folder . Furthermore I would check to see if it was a real threat then also place that in the note pad, then I would send it all off to a higher member off staff ( Admin or higher) who could deal with the situation at hand. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Things you can and cannot do/rules: 1. Failing to answer questions can lead to your app being denied. 5. False information can lead to your application being denied. 6. Terms I, Ashley Cooper, accept that I am a representative of Imperial Gaming, and that I have been given these powers to make the experience of others better. I understand that advertising my application can get it denied. I accept that I may be demoted at any time by a senior member of staff without prior warning, as long as a valid reason is given. I have read all the rules and understand them completely, if not I will ask a higher staff member for a better explanation. Thank you for reading, sorry I'm really bad at applications and detail so i do apologise .

Alright, so in light of various developments and complaints, MHC is once again looking for secretaries and receptionists to help out around the joint. There's going to be a similar tryout/application process as before, put in an app, do a meeting with me or another member of MHC, get told whether you made it or not. Unlike the previous around of applications though, no previous applicants will be put into consideration unless they apply again. Make sure that you also list what job you want to apply for as there are only 2 receptionist slots and 1 secretary slot. Fill out everything on the application. Put your applications below, the generals will have a look at them (as well as the current members of MHC administration) and that's all I can say for now. Application setup: What is your Steam display name?: What is your current in-game rank and regiment?: How much time have you spent on the server?: How active are you in-game and on the forums?: Do you have any kicks, warnings or bans?: Which job do you want to apply for?: What do you know about Military High Command?: Have you been the commanding officer or acting commanding officer of a regiment or organisation previously?: In your opinion/experience, what is a MHC Secretary/Receptionist and what do they do?: How will being a part of Military High Command benefit us and you?: How good are you at typing?: Do you know how to work a Google Sheets spreadsheet?: What previous experience have you had in an administrative role such as or similar to a secretary?: How much do you pay attention to the in-game chat window?: How serious of a roleplayer are you?: Do you understand/accept that, as a MHC Secretary/Receptionist, you will be undertaking mainly a administrative role and not a combat role?: Do you understand/accept that, as a MHC Secretary/Receptionist, you may not talk about private MHC affairs with any other unauthorised person or organisation?: Do you understand/accept that, as a MHC Secretary/Receptionist, you will undertake the responsibilities of (to some regard) running the Star Destroyer and Imperial Military and bear the consequences of any failures?: --- ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY THE 22/1/18. SUBMISSIONS THAT ARE LATE, NOT WELL DETAILED OR NOT SERIOUS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Look at this sheet to get the hang of the command structure in the MHC administration team: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1S1OeqNXDdbneUKF0ZTp2tHxfCkpObDV4RlEfoW1J7gc/edit?usp=sharing Good luck Stevo.
Hello to everyone reading this. Recently there has been a large number of applications for both staff and PAC3 for the Imperial Roleplay server that I have wanted to talk about due to a large number of issues within the applications themselves. The first major issue that I have seen is people posting staff applications as a "funny joke" or because "they said to submit an application at debrief". A staff application is not a joking matter and should only be made by those who are actually wanting to apply for the position properly. It is true that the Imperial Roleplay team is looking to expand, but this does not mean that every player on the server has to put in an application just because they can. These is extremely rude and disrespectful to those who are actually, legitimately, applying for staff as it takes the attention away from their applications as everyone else is too busy reading your shitty application and responding to it instead of looking at the proper ones. The second major issue that I wanted to bring up was the fact that a large percentage of recent applications have been made where the applicant has written, in their application, that they do not believe that they are really good enough to actually get the staffing position whether that is because they have had a mingey past, because they haven't put more than five minutes into the application, haven't even had the time to answer all of the questions within the application template properly or because they are too young, immature or have a low playtime. For a player to submit a staff application, they should truly believe in themselves and they should only post it if they think that they have a good chance at actually succeeding in getting the position. I am tired of seeing shitty ten minute applications for trial moderator when the application has written down one to two sentences per question, puts down "valid" prior staffing positions *cough* minecraft *cough* and then at the end of the application write something along the lines of "I don't think that this application will be accepted but I thought that I may as well give it a go". NO, if you do not think that will be accepted then do us all a favour and click that red 'x' button at the top right hand corner of your screen and close your web browser. I am more than certain that posting one of these kinds of applications is only going to fuck up your reputation and your image on the server, rather than actually help it. The third major issue I see, and this is mainly for the Event Master applications, is can applicants actually put more than five minutes into an event and come up with new and unique ideas. I personally and sick and tired of reading applications that have one of the following, stock standard, unimaginative, shitty events. Imperial troops head down to *insert name* to go and hunt the Rebel Forces *insert name* attack the Star Destroyer Undercover *insert name* attack the Star Destroyer Imperial troops head down to *insert name* to track down *insert name* The Star Destroyer is damage and crashes into *insert name*, where the survivors are then attacked by *insert name* These kinds of event ideas have no originality, and if you can not come up with something that isn't one of these five event ideas, you do not deserve to become an Event Master. The only thing that I have seen recently that is worse than one of these five plot points, is someone, on an EVENT MASTER application, stating that they cannot come up with any events at the moment and that if you want some ideas of the events I will run, to go and speak to them in-game. NO, this is not on either. The point of the "write two events that you will run if you get the position" is to allow the community to see easily and clearly what kind of events you are going to run and how you will run them. Events take time to write up, I would know as I was Event Master for at least 5 months. The more detailed you can make your events in your Event Master application, the higher chance you will have for it being accepted. The fourth major issue I have seen in recent times is applicants not proof reading their applications, which would cut down on the number of spelling and grammatical errors, along with making sure that someone else can actually read your application. These things can be as simple as putting full stops and commas down in the correct places, using capital letters in the correct way And Not Typing Your Application Like This, knowing the difference between words such as to, too and two and there, their and they're. I am also tired of seeing lower case I's throughout peoples applications where is should be an upper case. It is these little things that can make or break your application, because people will pick up on it. If you are unable to structure a simple sentence together, you are in so way, shape or form ready to be a staff member on the server. There are also a few smaller issues that I wanted to bring up. When it says "If you have been staff on previous servers, please list them", it is talking about Garry's Mod servers. Things like Minecraft or Roblox staffing experience doesn't matter one bit here due to the nature of the game. Games like ARMA III or serious roleplay games could, however, matter due to the similarities between the server and them (such as being staff on a well-known ARMA III Life server, as it shows that you are mature and can roleplay well). The last minor issue I wanted to bring up was players on the server deciding to post staff applications after they have either been recently warned, banned or unbanned. If you have been warned on the server recently for a valid reason, it means that another staff member has decided that you do not know the rules of the server well enough and that they need to inform other staff members that you do not know this rule and that you have broken it, so if you do it again in the future, they will know. If you have been recently banned on the server it means that the staff members on the server saw it fit to restrict your ability to play on the server as you have broken the rules too many times or have done something completely in the wrong. If you have been recently unbanned, there is a one-month restriction placed upon you that does not allow you to apply for any position within the community whether that be a moderator, event master or for PAC3 access. You being unbanned was because the higher staff members have decided that you have deserved a second chance to play on the server. In saying this, that does not mean that you can apply for a position the moment you can, one month later. It takes time to build back up your reputation within the community. To those who have actually read this far, thank you. Hopefully, I have addressed all of the issues with recent applications and that this should begin to limit these things in future applications. Have a great day
