  1. Steam Name: [IG] Welly SteamID32: STEAM_0:1:96597177 Steam Profile Link: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198153460083 In Game Name: [2IC] [374-20] Welly Time Played Imperial RP: 4w 5d 2h Time Played Imperial RP Evidence Have you had any warns (If so state them)? DC to avoid arrest. - Feb 8th RDM - March 6th DC to avoid arrest. - March 3rd DC to avoid punishment. - March 28th DC to avoid arrest - April 10th DISCLAIMER: Despite this being 5 warns (and it states in the Terms & Conditions), I have been granted to put this application by Cecil, despite the warns. Also, to explain, before you -1 this for the warns I racked up, please keep in mind the dates, this was 6 months ago (when I was still new), and since I have rarely been involved with a sit, or if ever was either a mistake or a misconception. The big cut in dates from Feb 8th to March 6th was because after the first DC to avoid arrest I rarely got on again and when I did come back I did manage to rack up another 3 warns, without realizing the weight of them or even knowing I had them as this was when I was still new to the game (not that this is a valid excuse, but I genuinely was new and unaware that I had so many until later and what they meant). The only warn I still hold close was the April warn as this was a geniune offence where I purposely took the warn. However, I have made an attempt to make changes for the better, and it took me 2 months to procrastinate over this application and after coming to terms with my attitude and how I am seen both in and out of character, I hope that others can see the shift of my intent towards the server and don't hold my stupid decisions against me. Have you had any bans (If so state them)? None. Have you been staff on any other servers or communities (If so state them)? This is one of my first servers, so negative. What do you believe is the purpose of Moderators on the server? That everyone, no matter who they are, can have a fun, enjoyable and uninterupted experience on the server. This means that no matter who you are, you may have great experiences on the server, and that aslong as you show this value to others, you may have those same rights. If someone minges and purposely ruins other people's times, they will have to face the consequences as they are not respecting others basic rights and may be given a warn, or other form of infraction out of character to make it obvious where they messed up, but at the same time the Moderator should point them in the right direction as to how they can better improve and stop them from repeating the same action again. The Moderator should ALWAYS remain on middle ground, as it would be like in a court; not presumed in the wrong until proven guilty, or in the server, not treat the accused player like they had done what they did with full intent. Moderators may also not just be there to deal with wrongful players, however instead they may be there to spawn in or create things to enhance RP, such as items that may be used in the scenario, or TIE fighters for ISC as another example. Another situation is when under 20 players, RP is not completely in affect and other players may want vehicles spawned in for example, to which that may happen under the right circumstances and the right people. Why are you applying to be a Trial Moderator? I want to be a Trial Moderator as this would allow 2 major things to happen for not just me, but other players. The first reason I want to be in a staff position is due the fact that I wish to merely just help out other players when they require assistance, and give them advice that I wish I had recieved earlier on in my time on the server, to better the other person. I want a happy playerbase where despite people having conflicting views, they can get along and come to agreements with one another, or atleast prevent them from being aggresive towards one another. If I could make everyone in a sit feel positive when I finish a sit, I would be over the moon and this would be my main drive to be a staff member, and could keep me going for ages. My second main reason, is while being in regiments in-character, I have seen players in my regiments who RDM, FailRP or get aggressive to the point of it being more OOC than in character, and seeing this made me so frustrated as even if I had put a ticket in, it would've stopped by the time a Moderator was avaliable, and their attitude would remain there for another time. If I was able to be a Moderator, I could witness and easily be able to act upon it in the moment. Also in my past regiments I have seen REDACTED intel that could get a player warned in OOC. My final point (weakest, but still a point) is that all of us in 374th are just the "User" user group, so it's harder to deal with things; although we can make a ticket it doesn't always do the trick, it won't have the outcome we want for our trooper, which I will expain below. What do you believe you can bring to the staff team? Following on from above: troopers who would adopt a mingey attitude I would be able to stop them, possible warn them, but also point them in the right direction to stop them from repeating offences, which I would do for everyone who is involved in a sit, as in most cases (excluding RDM'ers who just straight up kill everyone for no reason and others) everyone there except witnesses are somewhat in the wrong, whether they provoked someone or said the wrong thing. I've seen people who can easily be annoyed due to one thing said, jokingly or not, I've seen it and been on both sides. Also, with my month on the server I have knowledge and experiences that will allow me to make a justified decision on things. Another important thing I can bring is activity and lots of free time, as I am also in a NZ time, so I can be on early unless there is an assignment or work I have to complete (IRL tendencies *sigh*). In the staff team I can bring an attitude that is positive without ill-intent for others, and I don't really have anyone I dislike on the server, and this means I can take both sides of the story openly without trying shutdown anyone if they try to explain themselves, which is essential for Mods. Someone Mass RDM’s and disconnects from the server. What do you do? Immediately grab the RDM'ers SteamID32, check logs, and if I haven't seen the RDMing myself then I would check around for eyewitnesses by either tickets or if they were killed by the said Mass RDM'er. I would check for anything that could piece things together to see if they had any motive. Another choice is to check chat logs and search for if they spoke in chat to the person, and not voice. I would also check for things such as an AoS, as this could be the reason behind the RDMing, like if they are under pursuit by SK/RT and they mistakenly think that it was okay, although this wouldn't lead to me treating the situation differently, as they DC'd as well as the RDM, which cannot be given leniency, or else others may expect the same treatment. Then I would get all evidence together, compiling it, warn the user for "RDM x#, DC to avoid punishment", then ask a higher ranked staff member if they need to hand out an appropriate ban dependant on circumstances. Someone is bullying another member of the community. What do you do? Approach the situation with a clear mind and not instantly assume the bullying is done purposely, as the other person may have been provoked. I would first drag the bully away from the player and keep the two players away from one another if this was in-game. I would first off ask the bullied person for the whole story and what happened, and what lead up to the situation. In the background I would have some sort of notes or recording software to catch everything they say. Again, if this was in-game, I would be checking logs as they speak to make sure what they're saying matches up with what is shown. I would then proceed to calm the person and reasure them that they will be fine and there will be a positive outcome from the sit, to make sure they don't retalliate or get annoyed during the sit. I would then bring over the bully and tell them what I heard and see if they have anything that adds or is different from their perspective, to find out the source of their annoyance that lead them to bully the other player. If this situation got too out of control, seperate them again, in such a way where I can still monitor the two of them. I would then proceed to grab a SteamID32 from them both and write them down somewhere along with their names in-game. I would then grab anyone else who may be able to contribute to what is being said, to support or disprove the bully's reasoning for their actions. I would then make my decision, run it through with a staff member to see if it was the right call. These decisions would either be that they are under a monitor list and if the bully's name pops up again they'd be warned, or if the bully did not seem sorry for their actions I would straight up warn them for "Player disrespect", as bullying is a global issue and some people just can't come to their sense unless they have a punishment handed out. You see a higher ranking staff member abuse their powers. What do you do? Record, note, check logs, etc. Anything that would help me when I try to show higher ups, like Admins or management to support my claims. I would NOT go towards said staff member at this point and I instead would see if they just did it as a one time offence, or if they are constantly doing it with intent. As this is going on, I would be checking through any logs or evidence that would show me that they are doing it for good reason. However, of course if this abuse went way too far (with visible evidence of them doing so) I would find myself likely going straight to management (whether TS3, Discord, whatever would be best) and get them to take action as soon as possible before real damage is done. I would note down what the said staff member does and who was affected by what they did. Finally, I would confront the person, ask them what they are doing and then see what their reasons are, if they had any. I would from here give the evidence and leave it to management; I could not do much else aside from watch and continue grabbing evidence. As long as Management is immediately aware with sufficient evidence, that would be the best I could do. Someone threatens to DDOS the server. what do you do? I would try to make the person making the threat reconsider while at the same time talking in staff chat for someone high enough to ban to teleport to me cloaked so they can do so while I try to stop the person from doing a DDOS attack on the server. If I could atleast buy a few seconds before a DDOS then that's the best I can do - keep them distracted while someone else gets them banned before the person can do anything that could really harm the server. Since it states that this person is threatening, I would just record and collect evidence from logs. I would also use this time to find their motives incase they ever tried to get unbanned and I could use what they said to help staff decide if they deserve the unban or not. If they said they threatened the server because they hated the server or something, then the unban would likely be denied, however if they said that they were just kidding around, in their unban it may help people decide on a +1 or -1, as this could have been someones bad humour or trying to get a reaction from people. Terms & Conditions I agree to them and will uphold them.
  2. Sullys T-Mod Application Note: For those who are unaware of why I resigned from my prior staffing role, you can find my reasoning and leaving post here: Link. Thank you for taking the time to read my application and consider me for the role of Trial Moderator on the Imperial Gaming community. Steam Details Steam Name: [IG] Sully SteamID32: STEAM_0:1:169094775 Steam Profile Link: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76 In Game Details In Game Name: 《97-03》 "Sully" Time Played Imperial RP: 6 weeks 4 days (Not including 8+ weeks prior to reset) Time Played Imperial RP Evidence In Game Details Have you had any warns (If so state them)? Negative, I have not received any warns on the Imperial Gaming StarwarsRP server. Have you had any bans (If so state them)? Yes, I have had 1 ban since i started playing in June 2017 and this was a permaban which was given to me on the 28/01/2018 @ 21:04:01, the reason for the ban was: 'Flying drop ship into debrief area' back when the server was on the Rishi Moon map rotation. The reason behind the ban is I had decided to let my younger cousin play on computer that day as I was having to go out to do some errands and he decided he wanted to play Garry's Mod as he had seen me play if before in the past, before i left i loaded in the server for him to play on as i knew the player-base on Imperial Gaming was good and would be able to give him an insight into how StarwarsRP operates and functions. I do admit this was a mistake in hindsight as i was not there to monitor his actions and make sure he conducted himself properly and when i got home he told me i was banned on that server now. Although i have this ban I was unbanned by Carnifex who i spoke to about the ban and my appeal (Ban appeal), and i was lucky enough to be given a second chance in order to show everyone that i am still a hardworking a rule abiding member of the community, both on the server and in the forums. Following my unban I was lucky enough to be granted the opportunity to take on the Moderator role within the community as well as become apart of the Community Support Team and Community Media Team. In doing so I put a lot of effort and time into helping various people around the server and community as a whole, I hope I have redeemed myself in the eyes of the community and the staff/management team and thank them to still to this day for the opportunity given to me. Have you been staff on any other servers or communities (If so state them)? CerebroRP- Senior Admin (DarkRP) CerebroRP - Senior Admin (PoliceRP) SaltyRP - Super Admin (DarkRP) Frostbite Network - Owner (DarkRP) Millennia Gaming - Moderator (HogwartsRP) Imperial Gaming - Event Master (StarwarsRP) Imperial Gaming - Moderator (StarwarsRP) What do you believe is the purpose of Moderators on the server? Server Moderators are a highly important aspect in the success and day to day operations of any and all Garry’s Mod servers, not only do these individuals make up the backbone of the community but they devote hours of their own time in order to mediate and moderate conflicts and situations that may arise within a server environment. Whilst a moderators primary roles lie within the server they also assist in dealing with issues that are outside of the server environment, these being In Character (IC) issues and Out of Character (OOC) issues. Examples of some In character issues that would/could require the interjection of a Moderator are situations such as but not limited to; Users who are breaking server rules regarding role-play related aspects. Users who are breaking server rules regarding regimental/role related aspects. Users who are interrupting or ruining the role play and or experience of another user. Examples of some Out of Character issues that would/could require the interjection of a Moderator are situations such as but not limited to; Mediating disagreements that may arise between players/community members. Defusing users who may become aggressive or volatile towards others. Dealing with users who make attempts to threaten or abuse another user. Dealing with users who make attempts to bully or harass another user. In all cases, Moderators are the people who ensure the server flows smoothly and that any users who aim to effect or interrupt the experience of another are dealt with appropriately and accordingly. Moderators also act as a person in which users can approach if they feel that someone within the community is treating them in an unacceptable way and act as a safeguard for that person so that they feel safe once again. A moderator is apart of the staff team and therefore much like a team for any other thing in life they are there to help, and work with others to ensure the overall experience of everyone on the server is kept to a high, the moderators should be able to get to know and speak with the players within the community with a nice and well mannered approach whilst also being able to switch to a serious and enforcing manner when needed of them. They are also required to know their requirements and responsibilities as a member of the staffing team, as well as all of the server rules and appropriate punishments so that they are able to enforce them and inform players of them when needed. Furthermore as a moderator you should be able to read all aspects of a situation presented to you to ensure the actions you take are justified and within reason whilst manifesting a calm approach even in stressful situations, this allows them to make an informed and logical decision in assessing the situation and with review of the defined punishment list, take the appropriate actions in order to ensure the resolution of the matter at hand. Why are you applying to be a Trial Moderator? My reasoning in which I am applying for Trial Moderator within the staffing team within the Imperial Gaming community is broken up into a few main overarching aspects which include; My passion for helping others to the best of my abilities. Dealing with threats or issues that may arise, including minges. Taking on further responsibilities, challenges and channeling my skills/abilities. Past staffing and moderation experience. Allowing for the ability to discuss ideas and future pathways for the server. I pride myself on my passion I have for helping others and giving back, whether this be through small actions such as lending a helping hand by replying to a comment or question that may arise in games or on the forums or giving them an in depth explanation on how and what to do. I try my best to help each and every person I encounter to the best of my abilities as often as I possibly can. I wish to give back to the server and help the players within it have the best and most enjoyable experience they possibly can not only within the server but the entire community as a whole. I intend to provide a positive and helpful face for the community as well as living up to the standards and requirements of a staff member in order to not only further myself as a person but as a figure for public assistance. Users who come onto the server for the primary purpose of causing issues and minging are a problem that occurs within every StarwarsRP community and I wish to help deal with these individuals and their actions within the server environment in order to stop them from degrading the experience of other players in the game, this will allow the server to flourish with even better RP than it already does. I feel as if I have developed a high level of teamwork, leadership and communication skills through the various experiences and groups I have been apart of in my day to day life and I wish to apply them within a more developed role and be better involved within the community, I see the position of Trial Moderator as a good way to channel these skills and begin my journey of self growth. During my time as an event master in the late months of 2017 I gained an insight into the moderating side of things as I often found myself having to deal with issues late at night when other staff members were not online and also saw that sometimes staff members got too many tickets than they were able to keep up with, these tickets would then sit there pending for an extended duration of time until they finally disappeared. During my time as Moderator in the latter part of 2018 through to the time in which I resigned in Late May 2019, I developed a high understanding of the Moderator role and strove daily to push myself to the best of my ability and complete all of Staffing actions to the highest of standards. This position allowed me the ability to let my passion for helping users to shine through as I focused tirelessly on providing the general player-base with a voice inside of the Staffing team. If given the opportunity to again take on this enormous privilege I intent to assist the already amazing team of staff in responding to and resolving issues in the community with great ease and speed to ensure that the issues or problems can be resolved swiftly allowing the server to run smoothly and efficiently. Lastly, I wish to act as a gateway for users to feel free to approach me with suggestions, Ideas or questions they may have which I may then pass on to the relevant parties or answer myself If possible. What do you believe you can bring to the staff team? As previously touched upon within my application, I have stated that I believe I possess good leadership, teamwork and communication skills, all of which I have obtained through experiences in my personal life as well as being a member of the West Australian, Australian Army Cadets and progressing through the ranks. As well as this through my prior and existing jobs in customer service I have achieved several Customer service and Management awards within my region of Western Australia which show and reflect not only my ability but also my capability to work well and communicate with others. Due to my shifted timezone in comparison to the vast majority of the staff team, I tend to be on later at night whilst other staff are offline or busy meaning I am able to maintain the server and ensure the rules are followed up until the late hours of the night. My wealth of knowledge and experience gained from my past staffing positions on other servers as well as my positions I have held on the Imperial Gaming server allows me to know, understand and be competent with the use of ULX commands and other ULX features that will assist me in fulfilling the role of Trial Moderator, these roles have also given me knowledge and insight into the strong and weak points of staffing and staffing methods meaning I know where to improve and how to improve when needed and called upon. Allowing me to be apart of the staff team would give me the chance to once again make use of my skills and abilities as well as allowing me the opportunity to put my level headed and forward thinking nature to good use and would give me the chance to help the server and the pre-existing staff team run and function whilst also lightening their load a little and adding my own personal flair, especially over the coming holiday season. Some additional things that I believe I will be able to bring to the Imperial Gaming staff team are my creative mindset, which can help me in thinking of new and interesting ideas for the server as well as ways to approach situations. My prior experience from being a staff member on the server, my new and thought out ideas that come along with my creative mindset, my eagerness to want to constantly do better and strive to achieve my best and develop myself into the best version of me, my willingness to learn and grow through the acceptance of constructive and negative feedback, my ability to deal with and communicate well with others whilst maintaining a calm and professional manner especially in stressful situations and my general positive attitude towards players and tasks. Scenarios Someone Mass RDM’s and disconnects from the server. What do you do? The first point of action within a scenario such as this would be to check the damage and or kill logs to determine the exact number of players the suspect has killed and to verify they did in fact commit the offence they are accused of. The next step would be to teleport to one of the victims that the player killed in order to determine the exact nature of what unfolded as sometimes MRDM can be misinterpreted (eg. If Vaders Fist or another regiment such as that are guarding the Sith Temple and kill 4 Storm Troopers who enter, then that would not be considered as Mass RDM due to the KOS sign present at the temple entry) once I have spoken with one of the suspects victims and determined how the incident unfolded I would ask them, and all of the other victims if they had any evidence (Screenshots or video recordings) of the incident and review all the evidence that gets provided checking for any extra or omitted information regarding the MRDM and the nature behind it. Once I have reviewed the entirety of the case at hand I would collaborate with the IG warn/ban spreadsheet to ensure an appropriate punishment is sorted out for someone who has committed this offence, I would then (depending on what the spreadsheet stats locate the players SteamID and use the !ban menu to sort out the ban making sure to state the exact nature of his ban, if the ban duration required from his offence exceeds the limit as to which I am able to ban then I would contact a staff member who is able to ban the player for that duration to ensure the correct sentence is issued. After issuing the player with his ban I would go to the players who were killed randomly by the player and apologise to them on behalf of the staff team, additionally if they were in the middle of completing a quest when they were killed and as a result unable to complete said quest I would personally reimburse the player of the credits they lost. Someone is bullying another member of the community. What do you do? The first initial action I would take would be to gather any and all possible evidence of the bullying including statements from the player (both in the OOC chat and in character chat) as well as video and screenshot evidence. Following this I would then confront the player who was accused of being the bully and if I am able to conclude that the player has been bullying I would make an on the spot assessment as to the severity of the bullying and any other details about the person who is being bullied and the bully himself as these may affect the nature of the situation at hand. Things that may increase the severity of the bullying is how extensive the comments were for example whether of not things such as racism or player disrespect were also used. Additional details that may affect the situations outcome can include whether the bully in question has been warned prior for similar reasons (can check the warns menu to see), another thing is how old the person being bullied is, if the user is a younger player than this bullying case will need to be dealt with delicately. Following the on the spot assessment I would consult the warn/ban spreadsheet to determine the exact severity of punishment that is deemed suitable for the player in question keeping in mind Imperial Gaming's stance towards bullying within the community, once that is determined if the player requires a verbal warning I would do so and then spectate him to ensure the incident doesn't reoccur. If the player required a regular warn I would use the !warn feature and insert the SteamID and warn details. If the player required a ban then I would use the !ban command and insert the steamID and reason, however if the ban required was for a longer duration then I was able to issue then I would contact a staff member capable of issuing a ban of that duration and provide them with the reason as to why the player is being banned. You see a higher ranking staff member abuse their powers. What do you do? If I was to hear or be reported about another member of the staff team abusing there powers then I would start recording and spectate them using invisibility and no-clip to gather any evidence possible to show how they are abusing their power and who the abuse in power if affecting (being sure to note their names), if any evidence it able to be provided on top of evidence collected by myself then that would help in showing the severity of the issue. I would then approach the staff member (away from other players) and confront them on their misuse of power and see what they have to say about my claims/accusations, if it is found to be that it was a genuine mistake or they were unaware that they actions they were doing were wrong and against the rules then I would inform them not to do such actions in the future and keep the evidence in case they proceeded to re-offend being sure to still report the matter to a higher up staff member. If the staff member does proceed to re offend then I would take the matter directly to a member of staff who outranks them and present them with all of the collated evidence and statements from players, if there is nothing more I can do to help regarding the situation then I would leave the matter to the senior staff to resolve internally being sure to apologise to any and all affected players on behalf of the staff team for the breach/abuse of power that was conducted. Someone threatens to DDOS the server. what do you do? The first action to be taken in a scenario such as this is to yet again gather any and all evidence available in regard to the situation this evidence could be from , chat, logs, video and Audio recordings which I will then review to determine if the play did threaten to DDOS the server. If the threat was determined to be serious and an imminent threat to the server being under attack then the correct action to be taken would be to kick the user and then contact a high ranking member on staff on the TS3 server or Staff Steam chat to inform them of the scenario and any additional details I have. If the player is dealt with and the threat has passed then I would collaborate with the higher staff to determine the correct course of action/punishment to be dealt with which would most likely be a ban or permban under the staffs discretion. If the threat by the player was deemed to be a false alarm or a joke then I would not be forced to refer to the higher ups for punishment and would conduct my duties as a moderator and warn the player for threatening to harm the server. Throughout this ordeal it is important to keep in mind that DDOSing in Australia is a highly illegal offence and can be taken to court, this further re-enforces why Imperial Gaming does not take these threats lightly. Regardless of if the threat was real or just a joke, they are treated in the exact same manner as we can never be too careful. Terms & Conditions Yes Steam Name: [IG] Sully
  3. Steam Details Steam Name: [IG] Dominus Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:460387132 Steam Profile link: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198881039993/ In Game Details In Game Name: [BN-02] Dominus In Game Rank: Flight Captain In Game Regiment: Imperial Starfighter Corps Time Played Imperial RP (Server Time/Screenshot evidence): 17/05/2019 Applicants History & Reasons Have you had any warns (If so state them): None what so ever. Have you had any bans (If so state them): None what so ever. Have you been staff on any other servers or communities (If so state them): No not yet but everyone has to start somewhere. What do you believe is the purpose of Moderators on the server: I believe that a moderator on Imperial Gaming is quite important, they enhance Roleplay situations and making it fun and enjoyable for others by removing or warning the minges or people with no intent to Roleplay. Ext. Not only that also responding tickets for people that are stuck or that need tools for training. That is what a moderator does they aren't just the mean guys that warn or ban people they are here to help out with the server and make it enjoyable for others playing on the server. If we didn't have moderators Imperial Gaming wouldn't be as joyful as it is today. Why are you applying to be a Trial Moderator: I am applying for Trial moderator because I wish to help out by making people's experience better as well as making mine better. I have always wished to be a moderator for any Star Wars RP servers but I have never really liked any servers until I found Imperial Gaming. Now that I have found a nice server with a nice community I want to try help out by doing the best I can by removing minges or helping out the good players. That is why I think that Trial Mod is for me. What do you believe you can bring to the staff team: I can bring determination, hard work and activity on the server. I am a little bit new with this stuff but I think I can learn things really quickly. (example I joined Navy not knowing how to do much now I have been promoted up to Crewman in 4 days because of my quick learning) I am active most days especially in the holidays averaging 1-5 or 6 hours a day not on holidays not only being active mid-day but early mornings too because a lot of things happen early mornings when there are only 1 or 2 people online. When I get a task I always try my hardest and not rush anything like doing RP comms or having an in-game meeting. That is what I CAN bring to the staff team. Scenarios Someone Mass RDM’s and disconnects from the server. What do you do?: First I would check logs for their name and steam id then check how many people he killed so I knew how long I should ban the RDM'r for. Once I have all that information I would ban him accordingly then warn him for mass RDM'ing multiple people and breaking Fail rp. Once that was done I would check logs to see if anyone else had joined in with the RDM'ing and then act accordingly if someone else was doing it with him/her. Someone is bullying another member of the community. What do you do?: I would get the two players teleported to a private place and ask for the story on both sides to see their sides of the story if it was legit I would warn the bully. After warning the bully I would keep a watch on the bully to see if he/she would do it again. If they did do it again I would contact another admin to ban the offender or ban the offender my self if I had the powers myself and inform the victim that bulling on IG is not tolerated and they won't be attacked like that ever again. You see a higher ranking staff member abuse their powers. What do you do?: I would try get us much evidence as possible like recording it or taking screenshots in cloak so the staff abusing their powers wouldn't see me. Then I would let them know that they shouldn't be doing stuff like that and then I would show an Admin+ of what had happened and who did it. Once the Admin+ has got all the information and proof they would revoke staff or demote the staff member abusing their power and possibly warn them too depending on what they did. Someone threatens to DDOS the server. what do you do?: If someone threatened to DDOS the server I would take them up to the back of the bridge then freeze them with my phsgun and let them know that he/she will be getting banned and warned for threatening to DDOS the server. Once I banned them I would let someone in management know because a DDOS threat could be really bad to the server and staff would need to know about what had happened so they could go further and IP ban them or community ban them so they couldn't come back and threaten the server with something that could ruin the server possibly forever. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Things you can and cannot do/rules: 1. You may bump your application every 7 days after the last bump/post by a user (1 week) 2. 4. Steam Details Steam Name: [IG] Fox Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:6399065 Steam Profile link: https://steamcommunity.com/id/78fox/ In Game Details In Game Name: "Boss" In Game Rank: CL 4 - Commander In Game Regiment: Delta Squad Time Played Imperial RP (Server Time/Screenshot evidence): Time Played Clone Wars RP (Server Time/Screenshot evidence): PAC3 Questions Have you used PAC Before: Yes, I have used PAC before. I was one of the first users to be trusted with PAC3 on IG back in the day. Why should you be trusted with PAC (1 Paragraph): I believe I should be trusted with PAC3 as I have been with the community since late December 2017 and have worked my up to holding high role play positions and have been entrusted with PAC3 before. I am currently RC-1138 Boss on the Clone wars server, and a Trial Moderator. If I was to abuse the privilege of PAC, I would not only be throwing my morales out the window, but I would be jeopardizing my current rp and ooc role on the server. There is simply no way I would do that, I do not consider myself to ever bring my myself to be that low or to be irresponsible with the complex and unique tool such as PAC3. I care about this community deeply, and I would never go out of my way to abuse PAC because I know that that could not only damage my reputation, but also my regiment, my friends, and would just not be a good look on the server. I understand the rules of PAC3 and the restrictions of it. I know how it can be used and why it shouldn't be used in certain ways. I am well aware that if I choose to use PAC3 inappropriately, It will be removed. Why do you want access to PAC (1 Paragraph): I would like to receive access to PAC3 because I would like to enhance my RP on the server and also create a fun and RP based environment for others too. I would like to create more PACs for immersion purposes, instead of typing /me Deploys EOD on ground, I could make a PAC where I actually do that. If I want to take off my helmet, something that isn't body grouped on my model, I can do so with PAC. I plan on creating a really cool system that can tell my Squad actions and what to do. In republic commando, Boss can point to an object, and yell a command, EG - "Plant that Explosive, Delta" and a Delta Member will walk up and do that action, but before that, a hologram in their HUDs appears. I plan to make several Ping animations and models so that my Deltas can communicate with me even without mics, Like Apex Legends, but more futuristic. If I say 'Breaching Formation!" A breaching formation with 4 Commandos is set at the door so my team knows where to go, Or if I'm leading a different squad of troopers. It would be a really cool and unique thing to add to Boss's RP. A Future thing I would like to do, and it'll be tricky, is import the body groups from the original models and use them on Boss, the OG body groups had re breathers, pauldrons and a bunch of just really cool additions to the model. Lots of Unique lore commando gear from the game. Why do you believe you deserve PAC (1 Paragraph): I believe that I deserve PAC3 as I have always been aligned with IG and its community. I really enjoy the CWRP Server and I have had some amazing and awesome times on Imperial and I have made so many new friends because of it. I am very active as of late on CW and when it started, I devoted myself to the role of Fixer as I love that character so much. I am very interested in the Star wars Universe and don't see my time on IG ending any time soon. I have stayed with IG for the long haul and I am devoted to making it a better place for its users and staff. I am currently a T-mod and love to help people and assist in whatever my superiors want me to help them or others with. I am patient and obedient and I try not to have a negative outlook often. I strive to do my best and hope to bring out greatness in others, I like to inspire my Squad and my friends to go good things and to create a non toxic and friendly RP Environment. 5. Steam Details Steam Name: [IG] Luigi hehe Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:63838768 Steam Profile link: https://steamcommunity.com/id/Luigi4L/ In Game Details In Game Name: [2IC]【JT-02】Luigi | Newton Feniki In Game Rank: Major | Padawan In Game Regiment: Jump Troopers | Jedi Order Time Played Imperial RP (Server Time/Screenshot evidence): (As of 27/2/2019) Time Played Clone Wars RP (Server Time/Screenshot evidence): (As of 6/3/2019) Applicants History & Reasons Have you had any warns (If so state them): No, I have not Have you had any bans (If so state them): No, I have not Have you been staff on any other servers or communities (If so state them): I have not been a staff member on any other servers or communities, but I do not reckon this will hinder my ability to learn the ropes of a Moderator as I am always eager and open to learn what I have not. What do you believe is the purpose of Moderators on the server: Moderators play a very important role on any server. Moderators main duty is to represent the community, as a whole, in everything they do and always keep it in a professional and respectable manner both in and out of roleplay. Essentially serving as a role model for the newer players and peacekeepers. Moderators help the community with anything they may have (inquiries, issues, tools, etc) keep the server always rp appropriate, and friendly as possible, guarantee the server is always protected by enforcing the server rules and being the voice in an arising conflict. Moderators are to be able to keep their cool in heated/stressful situations and deal appropriate punishment for those who choose not to obey server standards or rules. Moderators must be able to trust their judgments, think solutions to the problem and listen very effectively. They serve as a neutral participant, who is non biased, that makes the final judgement call depending on the situation at hand. Moderators spend more of their time looking out for the server and protecting its player base in a more hands on approach, allowing them to interact with the community, roleplay with them and get their feedback on things. Moderators are to keep a standard at all times, being put in a place of power requires trust and maturity which must be shown at all times. Moderators are the reason that players can enjoy their rp and their time on the server. Without them, the server would essentially fall in chaos; Minging would be at a constant, conflicts between players would rise frequently and the server itself would eventually fall apart. Why are you applying to be a Trial Moderator: I am applying to become a Trial Moderator because I would like to help the server and the community out even more by taking up a more productive and interactive role on the server. I absolutely love this community and have no intentions of leaving it any time soon, so I would like to express this through the role of Trial Moderator. I undoubtedly love this line of work, being able to help others, with whatever they need, and keep them protected at all times. Countless times, during low hours on the server, I have experienced a handful of people (usually the newer players) thinking it's appropriate to start RDMing people and doing whatever they please, start screaming inappropriate things into their microphones and targeted towards other players. Due to the lack of staff on, nothing can/could be done about them and it simply slipped away without any warning. I, myself, have also witnessed/been the victim in these cases, having people say inappropriate/racist things and have received threats. This, under no circumstance, is tolerated and I would like to be able to demonstrate that the server is always protected, no matter the player count and take appropriate actions swiftly to demonstrate how closely monitored it is. Imperial Gaming has also currently expanded to two Star Wars RP server, therefore, there may be a need for more people to step up. What do you believe you can bring to the staff team: I believe I can bring a lot of qualities and attributes to the staff team. I can bring a willingness to learn things that I haven't, a strong, positive attitude and mindset at all times and the willingness to help others at any given time, no matter the circumstances. I have been around the server for some time now and have dedicated my time in fully understanding the in's and out's of the server. I have seen from other moderators, and my time here, of what is acceptable, unacceptable and what to look out for as a Moderator. I am a very friendly, kind and easy going person who is always open to welcome in new members of the community and take them under my wing by helping and guiding them where/whenever I can. I tend to work very well with other people and show/demonstrate leadership where it is needed and am not afraid to take over the situation if necessary. I am also a very active member within the community, usually on for 5+ hours a day, since my timezone might differ from a lot of other Staff/Members of the community, it means I am usually up quite late most nights and tend to experience the 'low rp' hours. I feel this is an essential quality to have as it allows the role of Moderator to be used to its fullest capabilities. Being a Moderator not only requires activity, but time and dedication, and I believe I have demonstrated this through my play time and rank. I also know that I am dedicated enough to the server and will put in as much time as possible. Scenarios Someone Mass RDM’s and disconnects from the server. What do you do?: The first thing I would do is attempt to freeze or jail the person who is RDMing, to prevent him from continuing. Since, by this stage, he has already left, I would check the damage/kill logs and make sure the accused had actually committed the offence and, if so, how many he had killed. I would then teleport to those who he had killed, and potentially other people who may have been involved, to get their response/account of what happened. I would ask the victims to go over what had happened and gather any possible evidence they may have so their responses may be properly validated and further assist my investigation. After talking with all victims, and potential people involved or witnesses, I would review all evidence to make sure that nothing has been missed or anything else had happened during the event. After assessing and reviewing all evidence, I would make the appropriate decision as to whether it was a MRDM or not and the appropriate punishment, keeping in mind that sometimes a MRDM could be misinterpreted (eg: KOS lines, if crossed then the people standing on the other side have all rights to kill you if that term/rule is violated). If it is a MRDM, in this case it is, I would grab the accused's Steam ID and warn him, using the !warn command, for Mass RDM x (amount killed) and DC to avoid punishment. If I am unable to provide an adequate or suitable punishment for the accused's actions, I would ask another member of staff if they would be able to do it instead. I would then save all evidence if it is needed/required at a later date. Someone is bullying another member of the community. What do you do?: Bullying, under no circumstances, is accepted or tolerated on any server/community. Even if it is a "meme" or "just playing around", Staff members take this matter very seriously. The first thing I would do is gather any evidence from the victim, witnesses or chat logs of the situation, and save it for a later date. I would then move the victim to a private location then ask the him for his account on the event, if he knew the reason why the accused was doing it and what he had said. I would also ask, if necessary, if he had known who this person was and how old the victim was as it may have an effect on the outcome of the situation. After hearing from the victim, I would try and consult with the accused and question him as to why he is doing such a thing, as bullying is a violation of one of the server rules and quite a serious one. If he claims innocent, I would use the evidence I gathered earlier and give him a verbal warning for bullying another player. I would then proceed to keep a very sharp eye on the player and ensure he does not do it again. If the bullying was more extensive and contained more punishable actions (Racist comments/slurs, Sexist comments, Discriminating words/comments, etc) I would proceed to warn the player as well during the sit and specifically state what he had said and why he had said such things. I would proceed to keep a very close eye (potentially spectate that player for a little while) on that player and inform other staff members of their actions so, they too, can watch closely. You see a higher ranking staff member abuse their powers. What do you do?: I would first start my recording software and make sure that it is in fact recording. I would then try and record the accused Staff Member using cloak and noclip, as well as trying to get some of the victims names in the process and who the Staff member was. After the 'event' has happened, I would then confront the victims and get their account on the situation, in case I missed something, as well as any evidence they might have to further validate their responses. After this, I would then try and confront the Staff Member and inform them they had abused their powers and if there was any particular reason for doing so. If it was a genuine mistake on the Staff members behalf, I would explain the severity of what could have happened and inform him/her to not do it again. All evidence collected would be saved for a future date, if the Staff member does happen to abuse their powers again or it is a re occurring problem, I would be able to prove my point and link it back. If the Staff member had genuinely abused their powers, without any explanation or reason too, depending on the extent of their abuse, I would report it to Higher Members of Staff, Chopz or Whitey if Moderator / Admin, Welshy if Event Master, providing all evidence I have acquired into the case. I would then let the Higher Members of Staff review all evidence and decide an adequate punishment. Someone threatens to DDOS the server. What do you do?: DDOSing is a serious offence not to be taken lightly, even if it is a joke, I would get to work as quickly as possible. I would first start recording in case the player decides to take further actions or if he is banned from the server, I can prove my case. I would then start to acquire evidence from where ever I can (chat, logs, other staff members, video or voice) to find out if the threat was actually given. I would then grab the players Steam ID and check their past history on the server (warns, kicks, bans). I would then teleport to the player and immediately pull them into an admin sit, stating the problem and warning them for 'Threatening to DDOS'. I would then explain the seriousness of a threat like that, and the consequences that could have followed. From there, I would inform the server that it was a false alarm and Immediately contact Senior Staff Members of the situation and whether a ban would be necessary if more drastic actions were taken or for future reference. If common sense had told me otherwise, and the attack was actually considered a 'Threat', I would kick the player immediately and, either, notify Senior Members of Staff or join the Senior Staff Member Channel in TS and inform them about the incident, as a Trial Moderators power is quite limited as to how long they can ban someone. If possible, I would ban the player for as long as possible instead. Thank you for taking your time to read through and review my application. I am always keen to know if anyone has any constructive feedback that can help better myself as a person or my application. The reason behind the ban is I had decided to let my younger cousin play on computer that day as I was having to go out to do some errands and he decided he wanted to play Garrys Mod as he had seen me play if before in the past, before i left i loaded in the server for him to play on as i knew the playerbase on Imperial Gaming was good and would be able to give him an insight into how StarwarsRP operates and functions. Following my unban i have achieved this 2w playtime, progressed through the ranks of ISB and shown myself to be a valued member of the Bureau in game. I have made 50+ documents since my unban both for my role i briefly had as a Regional Government member and my current role as an ISB agent which i put a lot of effort and time into as well as helping various people around the server. I feel/hope i have redeemed myself in the eyes of the community and the staff/management team. Have you been staff on any other servers or communities (If so state them): CerebroRP- Senior Admin (DarkRP) CerebroRP - Senior Admin (PoliceRP) SaltyRP - Super Admin (DarkRP) Frostbite Network - Owner (DarkRP) Millennia Gaming - Moderator (HogwartsRP) Imperial Gaming - Event Master (StarwarsRP) What do you believe is the purpose of Moderators on the server: Moderators play a vital part within the server functioning of the server, Moderators are there to help enhance and better the player experience for all users within the server as well as Moderating and mediating any incidents or situations that may unfold (eg. If a moderator is called to a sit where 2 users as arguing and yelling about an incident that has unfolded the moderator is there to mediate the situation, calm both of the players down and get both sides of the story before deciding upon an appropriate punishment/action to take regarding the incident). Imperial Gaming is a Serious RP server and it is a moderators job to enforce this and ensure all players are sticking within the rules and guidelines of the server whilst also enjoying their time. Moderators are there to assist with any and all in character related staff matters (eg. bullying, failRP, abuse of powers, disrespect, RDM etc.) as well as assisting in things such as DDOS threats and other server related staffing matters. A moderator is apart of the staff team and therefore much like a team for any other thing they are there to help, and work with others to ensure the overall experience of everyone on the server is kept to a high, the moderators should be able to get to know and speak with the players within the community with a nice and well mannered approach whilst also being able to switch to a serious and enforcing manner when needed of them. Why are you applying to be a Trial Moderator: I am applying for a position as a trial moderator within the staffing team in the Imperial Gaming community as i have a passion for helping others and giving back, whether this be through small actions such as reply to a comment in-game or on the forums or giving them an in depth explanation on how/what to do, i try my best to help to the best of my abilities as often as i can. I wish to give back to the server and help the players within it have the best and most enjoyable experience possible not only within the server but the entire community as a whole. I intend to provide a positive and helpful face for the community as well as living up to the standards and requirements of a staff member in order to further myself within the server and as a person. Minges are a problem within the server and i wish to heal deal with them and their actions within the server in order to stop them from degrading other players experiences in game to allow the server to flourish with better RP even more than it already does. I feel like i have good teamwork, leadership and communication skills that i have acquired through my experiences IRL that i wish to apply and further them within game and be better involved within the community as i see a moderator position as a good way to channel my skills. During my time back when i was an Event Master i gained an insight into the moderating side of things, often having to dealt with issues late at night when other staff members weren't online and also saw that sometimes staff members may be busy, AFK or unavailable to attend a ticket and the ticket would sit there pending for an extended duration of time until it diapered. I intend to help make sure the tickets and issues players have within the server are responded too with great ease and speed to ensure the issue or problem can be resolved allowing the server to run smoothly. What do you believe you can bring to the staff team: As previously stated within this application i have good Teamwork, Leadership and communication skills which i have obtained through experiences being a member of the Army Cadets and obtaining rank within this as well as my job role as a member of customer service and having won several customer server and management awards within my region of Western Australia which show and reflect not only my ability but also my capability to work well and communicate with others. Due to my shifted timezone in comparison to most of the staff amongst the staffing team i tend to be on later at nigh whilst other staff are offline or busy meaning i am able to maintain the server and ensure rules are followed late at night. My knowledge gained from possessing past staffing positions on other servers as well as my position of Event Master on Imperial Gaming allows me to know, understand and be competent with the use of ULX commands and other ULX features that will assist me in the role of Trial Moderator, these roles have also given me knowledge and insight into the strong and weak points of staffing and staffing methods meaning i know where to improve and how to improve when needed. Allowing me to be apart of the staff team would give me the chance to make use of my skills and abilities as well as allowing me to put my level headed and forward thinking nature to good use and would give me the opportunity to help the server and the pre-existing staff team run and function whilst also lightening their load a little, especially over the holiday season. Some additional things that i believe i can bring to the staff team are my creative mindset which can help me in thinking of new and interesting ideas within the server, my prior experience from being a staff member on the server, my new and thought out ideas that come along with my creative mindset, my eagerness to constantly do better and strive to achieve my best, my willingness to learn and grow through the acceptance of constructive and negative feedback, my ability to deal with and communicate well with others whilst maintaining a calm manner especially in stressful situations and my general positive attitude towards players and tasks. Additionally to all that i know the difference between a mingy act and a simple mistake and will be semi lenient to a simple mistake whilst also knowing when to "Put on my big boy pants" so to speak. Scenarios Someone Mass RDM’s and disconnects from the server. What do you do?: The first point of action within a scenario such as this would be to check the damage and or kill logs to determine the exact number of players the suspect has killed and to verify they did in fact commit the offence they are accused of. What do you do?: The first intial action i would take would be to gather any and all possible evidence of the bullying including statements from the player (both in the OOC chat and in character chat) as well as video and screenshot evidence. Following the on the spot assessment i would consult the warn/ban spreadsheet to determine the exact severity of punishment that is deemed suitable for the player in question, once that is determined if the player requires a verbal warning i would do so and then spectate him to ensure the incident doesn't reoccur. What do you do?: If i was to hear or be reported about another member of the staff team abusing there powers then i would start recording and spectate them using invisibility and no-clip to gather any evidence possible to show how they are abusing their power and who the abuse in power if affecting (being sure to note their names), if any evidence it able to be provided on top of evidence collected by myself then that would help in showing the severity of the issue. Someone threatens to DDOS the server. what do you do?: The first action to be taken in a scenario such as this is to yet again gather any and all evidence available in regard to the situation this evidence could be from , chat, logs, video and Audio recordings which i will then review to determine if the play did threaten to DDOS the server. If the threat was determined to be serious and an imminent threat to the server being under attack then the correct action to be taken would be to kick and or contact a high ranking member on staff on the TS3 server to inform them of the scenario and any additional details i have. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thank you for taking the time to read my application to become a trial moderator within the server and thank you for considering me for this privilege. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Terms I accept that I am a representative of Imperial Gaming, and that I have been given these powers to make the experience of others better. They also warn players who break rules on the server or to a further extent ban players. Why are you applying to be a Trial Moderator: I am applying for the moderation team to give back, Whenever I have called an admin or a moderator, I have gotten what I am in need but I will tell what is right or wrong. I want to do the same for the newer players that join the server, I want to make sure that the community can actually do stuff right to wrong. What do you believe you can bring to the staff team: will bring Calm and Neutral minded solutions to any problem that occurs whenever and wherever. Why should you be trusted with PAC (1 Paragraph): I believe i should be trusted with PAC because i pride myself with being a helpful, friendly and active member of the community. I have never had a problem with participating in RP events or helping out people in need. I'm not the type of person to abuse any sort of power given to me as i think i have shown during my time as Sith. I have also never received any bans or even a single warn. Why do you want access to PAC (1 Paragraph): I would like access to PAC becuase i feel that with PAC i can really take my own, and other people's roleplay experience to the next level. I wish to expand from just being a Sith Marauder (Or anything else i happen to be in the future should things change), to actually becoming "Van Helsing". I'd like to show people who i play as a lore-filled character, and what important role i play in the server, to better allow people to connect with my character and increase the imersion and enjoyment for everyone around me. Why do you believe you deserve PAC (1 Paragraph): To build upon what i stated in 'why i should be trusted with PAC', i would say i deserve PAC because i have shown those around me that i can fulfil an important role, and that i have shown kindness and fairness to everyone i have encountered. I can add immensely to everyone's roleplaying experience and really help people around me who may be struggling to really engage in their roleplay experience to enjoy the server to the fullest. A PAC in which my character holds dual lightsabers (Marauders use them in lore) Marauder showing idle stance. (Skull represents the harsh backstory and also strength of my character. Started as a Jedi, a bounty hunter came in the night and slaughtered his family before him whilst only being able to put up a feeble resistance. After being left to die, battered and bloody, with his already dead family, he vowed revenge and sought the power he needed to do so. He cast aside his ties to the Light side of the force and joined the dark side, training himself to become as strong as he could, until one day he finally found the bounty hunter with his friends in their hideout, and took swift action, slaughtering all of the and taking the leader's head as his trophy. Now he puts it on showcase for all of those who would dare stand up to him, and making them think twice.) Showing better angle of Idle Stance. Why should you be trusted with PAC (1 Paragraph): I have been playing on this server for 3-4 months, I started, stopped for a while and then came back, and have had only one run in with staff, which was a major lapse in my judgement and I regret doing it, and other than that have always used tools when I have been given them correctly and have never minged or been a disruptive part of the community. I hope I have put enough time into the server to show that I want to become a part of the community and that I can be trusted with Pac. Why do you want access to PAC (1 Paragraph): I would like access to Pac so that I can add more detail to my character and add a physical aspect to any roleplay I do by adding in animations/tools. I want to be able to make the Pilot uniform more interesting and add devices such as holograms, blueprints, scanners etc. I have spent a bit of time in a singleplayer world building stuff with Pac but I haven't put as much time into it as I would if I was able to access it on the server and not be the only one who can see it, because of that I would like to be able to have access to it on the server to give myself more motivation to make things and to build my Knowledge. I also feel that this is a step in the direction of becoming a more in-depth member of this community. Why do you believe you deserve PAC (1 Paragraph): I believe I deserve Pac because I feel that I have been a trustworthy and responsible member of this community for the time that I have been here, and have always done my best at whatever task has been assigned to me I also would love to be able to help those that are new to Pac once I have reached a certain skill level. As I stated before I love being a part of this community and have always tried to help others and teach them new skills, one of the reasons I enjoy being a pilot because it allows me to teach people how to fly, and just be a nice person in general. I believe I would be able to efficiently use PAC and insure that I do not make any mistakes at the expense of other players's experience. I would try my hardest to be responsible with how I use PAC and what I do to my player model as to not go overboard and in turn ruin the experience for other players and take up time of staff members trying to mend and revert my mistakes. I would take full responsibility for my actions with PAC. I have been playing on this server since early 2017 following my first experiences with the server I took a long break, in my time away I feel like I have matured a lot from my "mingy" ways and I feel like I should be trusted with PAC. Why do you want access to PAC (1 Paragraph): I would like to access PAC because I wish to use the functions of PAC as both a learning experience for future events and to improve the RP experience for both myself and also the community. Doing this will allow a more immersive experience for the community. PAC would also allow my to display my regiment (Navy) in a more up front and formal way to the rest of the players on the server. PAC is an amazing tool for anyone with the skill to be able to create decent, RP-legal creations, I believe I am competant enough to use pac in such a way that will increase the RP experience for myself and other players alike. Why do you believe you deserve PAC (1 Paragraph): I believe that I deserve PAC because I am a trust worthy and reliable player in the community, I have never received a warn on this server (To my knowledge) and I have never been PK'd from any regiment for inappropriate behaviour/actions, this shows that I can uphold my reputation in a way that allows people to trust me with PAC. Another reason why I think I deserve PAC is because I have put a lot of time and effort into this server and I feel that my commitment to this server shows that even if was given the chance I would never try to do harm to this server or it's players. As many people would say I have set a good example for most recruits and new troopers through my actions (most of the time ), That's another reason that I think I deserver access to PAC PAC3 Examples:

Mike’s New and Improved Event Master Application; Steam Name: Jesus Christ Age: 17 Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:102142751 In Game Name and Rank: Rank: [SUPPORT] Warrant Officer II Name: Mike Time Played (Server Time): 1 Week 1 Day 40m 38s Have you had any warns and/or bans (If so state them): No, I have not received any bans/warns or kicks on my time on the server. Have you been event master on any other servers (If so state them): No I’ve not been an Event Master on any other server. Why are you applying to be an event master?: I want to apply for Event Master because I would like to provide the server with my ideas for events as well as help the EM Team by providing them with support when making events and when doing events. I would also like to be an event master to ease the load on the other Event Masters by doing events during boring hours. As during those hours on weekends from about 6:00am to 12:00pm it gets extremely boring while there are not Event Masters on, if I do get EM I would help the server by setting up small on ship events to at least ease the boredom. One of the other reasons why I'm applying to be EM is because I always look up to the Event Masters I always think to myself "oh man I wish my event idea was an actual event" and that's why I'm applying. What can you bring to the event master team: I can bring active hours to the team as I’m on from 3 to 9 on weekdays and 8am to 11pm on weekends. As I expressed in the Why are you applying to be an event master section, I'm looking to provide the server with events when the other event masters aren’t on (so that’s like weekends when the server is pretty quiet). I can also bring events that aren’t wonky with my constant proofreading and effort that go into my events. What can you do to make events more enjoyable and innovative: When I write events, I have a high standard for them and I would put my full effort when writing (like for the one I wrote for the app) so the server will have a fun time when participating in my events. When I write events I look to make new ideas so it won't a repeat of previous events while also keeping it so it won't be like an event that just twisted a bit. I also look to include all regiments when writing events so it won’t be like these regiments get to have fun while the other regiments just stand and do nothing. I’ll also make sure my events flow through and not just hit a brick wall mid-way with constant read-overs so it’ll be fun for both the Event Characters and Imperial Troopers. 12. Misahu's T-Mod Application Steam Details: Steam name: [IG] Misahu Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:77136295 Steam profile link: https://steamcommunity.com/id/misahu/ In Game Details Name: Misahu In Game Rank: Major In game regiment: Death Troopers Time played: 4 weeks, 2 days, 18 hours Applicants History & Reasons Have you had any warns (If so state them): Yes, I have previously had one warn. I was very new to the server and had very little time played. I had become an event character on Tatooine and decided to steal an imperial ship (turns out it was Krennic’s shuttle, of which I can actually fly now.) Unfortunately, at the time I did not know how to land in a correct manner, and accidently crushed two stormtroopers who were in the landing zone. For this, I was warned for RDM x2. At the time, I thought that in RP, it would be fine for me to steal the ship as I was an event character roleplaying as a thief, and I never intended for the death of the troopers. However, I have since realised that under no circumstances is it okay for an event character to commandeer an imperial vehicle, without EM approval, and let alone kill people (seems like common sense.) Have you had any bans (If so state them): Yes, almost five months ago I was permanently banned for attempted RDM, (it was repealed almost immediately) which is further elaborated upon here: http://imperialgamingau.invisionzone.com/topic/3269-misahus-ban-appeal/ It was a very unfortunate situation for all parties involved, and in reaction to a rather unfair PK, I shot the Grand Moff two times. This was unacceptable on my behalf, and upon reflection I immediately realised what I had done was wrong. I have since matured immensely, and have realised what is required of a serious roleplayer on the server, evident by my progression through the in-character ranking system. Since this time, many months ago, I have never came even close to recieving a warn of any kind, and nor do I ever intend to. Have you been staff on any other servers or communities (If so state them): Yes, I have previously been staff on a Minecraft factions server, years ago, where I learned skills with interacting with people who are hacking / cheating / glitching / bullying on a server. I have learned what activities are acceptable by staff, and what is considered as ‘admin abuse.’ On the server, there was a high staff turnover due to some staff refusing to respect the rules and regulations surrounding their powers, I was not one of these staff and maintained my role for three months until the server was shut down due to the owner’s decision. However, I have not been staff on any Gmod servers, mainly due to the fact that all of my Gmod hours were played predominantly on IG. However, I do know the basic commands surrounding moderative powers on Gmod. What do you believe is the purpose of Moderators on the server: Moderators demonstrate an imperative role aboard the star destroyer. We are a serious RP server, and the moderators are here to make sure that all personnel are playing their part to enforce this. Moderators ensure that all players, serious about their roleplay, enjoy and appreciate their time on the server. Moderators also guarantee that all server rules are followed, not only rules that ensure the gratification of players (failRP, bullying, abuse of powers, disrespect, RDM and MRDM), but also those that protect the server’s security: This includes DDoS threats, protecting the server from crashing due to excess props and tool abuse that can potentially result in the server crashing. Good moderators do not abuse their powers, are able to remain calm in stressful situations, and are able to read all aspect of a situation, from both the accusing and defending parties’ perspectives. They are furthermore to make informed decisions and implement punishments based on their broad assessment and in conjunction with a defined punishment list. A server moderator is able to demonstrate a pleasant attitude to keep the server in an enlightened and joyful state, while being serious and strict during his / her moderative situations. A moderator must also know his commands, roleplay details and responsibilities surrounding his / her role to assist in the day-to-day running of the ship, I.e. distributing tools, informing persons of details regarding the actions they can and cannot enact and being able to spectate suspicious persons. Why are you applying to be a Trial Moderator: I am applying for trial moderator so that I can support the Imperial gaming community in a more proactive manner than I have previously. I have only demonstrated the ability to be a serious and productive member of the server in-character thus far, and highly appreciate and respect the prospect of progressing into the trial moderator role. I have personally experienced many more staff sits and mingy personnel aboard the star destroyer than your average trooper, being a highly active member of the Inferno squad, and a very high ranking death trooper. I have experienced first hand the struggles that staff experience every day with troopers who do not care about their position on the Star Destroyer and continue to minge, FailRP and argue with both staff and members on the server more responsible and knowledgeable than themselves. Personally, I would like to aid in the eradication of this problem to the best of my ability, as I hate to see the experiences of both myself, and other players ruined by troopers that are not playing the server to RP. Furthermore, I have seen many occasions, late at night, where troopers decide that mass RDM is okay, and manage to get away with it due to the lack of staff online at that time or a staff member being preoccupied dealing with other issues. I have been assisted on an extensive range of issues by the moderators and am bewildered by the quality and efficiency standards at which they operate. What do you believe you can bring to the staff team: After a month+ of in game time, playing on the server I believe I have learned the ins and outs of the SD’s (Now DS) operations. I have learned what is tolerated and what is not, and I believe this is why I would be a good trial moderator for the server. I already know what to look out for as a moderator, and demonstrate the responsible attitude required to deal with these things swiftly and maturely. I am also quite an active player on the server, and obviously with a Tmod role, this would have no chance of ddecreasing. I am also prepared to work; being a moderator does not only require a mature attitude, it requires time, and I know I am dedicated enough to the server to handle this. However, some moderators in the past have forgotten their role to keep the server fun and enjoyable for all players, and that a positive, non hostile, attitude is necessary when dealing with sits, no matter who is on the other end. Furthermore, as demonstrated by my role of leadership in the Death Trooper regiment, I am capable of leading people in an efficient and effective manner, meaning that If I were needed to step up into a higher moderative role on the server, I would be able to step up and take the role. Scenarios Someone Mass RDM’s and disconnects from the server. What do you do?: Firstly, I would check the damage and kill logs to ensure that the player in question did actually commit the offense. I would then teleport to those people that he did kill, and potentially other involved persons, to get their account of what happened (i.e it is not MRDM if an Inquisitor Trooper kills 4 stormtroopers who ran into the sith temple.) If screenshot / video evidence is available I would collect it and review it to gather details over anything else that may have occurred during the situation, and further ensure that the MRDM did actually occur. Once all of the relevant evidence has been collected, I would then make a decision as to whether it is MRDM or not, and compare my conclusion to the IG warns / bans spreadsheet to check the appropriate sentence for someone who commits that crime. I would then collect that person’s steam ID as it is necessary for the warning process and use the !warn command, with the person’s name and then the reason for the warn to warn the person for his offense. Then, if a ban is appropriate, as per IG regulations, I would use the !ban command, with the player’s steam ID, length of ban and reason for ban to ban the player from the server for the appropriate amount of time. Someone is bullying another member of the community. What do you do?: I would firstly gather all possible evidence of the bullying, including screenshots, video evidence and anecdotal evidence from the player, and chat (either ooc or in character.) I would then consult the potential bully and if I can prove / conclude that the person has been bullying, then I would give a verbal warning to stop his harassing actions. I would then spectate the player and ensure that he does not bully that user, or any other user in future. However, if the bullying was extensive, and involved other punishable actions (i.e racism, player dis, etc) then a warn would be required. To do this, I would use the !warn command, then the player’s steam ID and then the full reason for the warn, with concise detail. These moderativee situations do rely on predominately common sence; as a staff member, i would make a valid assesment of the severity of the bullying, and the type of person who is being bullied (i.e. if the target of the bullying is very young, then the situation will require extensive finess in order to sort out.) You see a higher ranking staff member abuse their powers. What do you do?: I would first collect all evidence of the staff member abusing, including screenshots, video evidence and potentially log screenshots and voice chat recordings. I would then review this evidence to make sure that the abuse has actually occurred. I would then inform the staff member that he has abused his powers. Depending on the extent of the abuse (i.e. mass slaying players vs accidently someone’s hp by a small amount) consult the staff members above him, and tell them that the abuse has occurred and send that member all of the evidence I have acquired. It is not my role to directly deal with abusing staff, and from this point I would leave it to the higher up staff member to review the evidence and provide an appropriate punishment. Someone threatens to DDOS the server. what do you do?: I would firstly, again collect all evidence I have seen via chat, logs (if a mingy staff,) video or voice and review this evidence. However, if the threat was deemed as imminent and my common sense told me that the server was under a serious threat of attack, I would immediately kick the player from the server, and join a high ranking staff member on TS to inform them of the possible attack/threat. I would then look out for that player rejoining the server and ensure that the threat has passed / there was a false alarm. Then, for threatening to DDOS the server, I would leave the threat with the high ranking staff member, and inform them of the player’s past offences (verbal warnings I know of and warn history) to inform the high ranking staff member of these offences. Past this point, it is the high ranking member’s (hopefully super admin+) job to deal with the threat. However, if the threat was simply a 'joke' then I would not be forced to refer to higher-ups, and the player would be warned by myself for his actions. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Terms I accept that I am a representative of Imperial Gaming, and that I have been given these powers to make the experience of others better. I understand that advertising my application can get it denied. I accept that I may be demoted at any time by a senior member of staff without prior warning, as long as a valid reason is given. I have read all the rules and understand them completely, if not I will ask a higher staff member for a better explanation.

Planz' Application for Tier 1 PAC3 Steam Details Steam Name: [IG] Planz Steam ID: 7656119829744885 Steam Profile link: https://steamcommunity.com/id/Planz64/ In Game Details In Game Name: Planz In Game Rank: High Colonel In Game Regiment: Jump Trooper Time Played (Server Time/ Must Provide Screenshot evidence): 2 Week 5 Day 0 Hours (Will Change whilst this is up) PAC3 Questions Have you used PAC Before: I Have used Pac3 a lot and have created things in single-player which are featured below. I am quite experienced in it and I have dedicated a lot of time towards learning it. Why should you be trusted with PAC (1 Paragraph): I believe I should be trusted with Pac3 because I am never Mingy, I never plan to be and understand the importance of the privilege that would be given to me, I will stay on this server for a long time, don't plan on leaving anytime soon. I think I am responsible and would never abuse the components of the Pac3 application. Whenever I make a mistake I make sure I own up, I don't lie and will always ask for help when I am unsure if something is allowed or will break someone's immersion. Why do you want access to PAC (1 Paragraph): I would like access to pac3 to Immerse me and others into the character that I roleplay as, I have seen this used very effectively with; Generals, Freeman, Gatzby, Gunjies and Rickle. They really stand out and are a very unique character to the role they play. I would use it to create small things with hands behind back to show Professionalism, I have also created a nodding bind so I can acknowledge lower ranks without fail RPing and saluting (The wave also looks a bit out of place for a higher up). I also have added things to my characters like a unique cape and a custom coloured skirt (examples below) to make me look professional and unique. I think the guns on the back help it seems more realistic so the weapon actually goes somewhere when you put it away (not too many of course) I also want to be able to take off my helmet to allow people to more personally connect with a face rather than just a helmet. To sum it all up I want to immerse myself and others, look professional and respectful, and also more realistic to immerse myself and others further. Why do you believe you deserve PAC (1 Paragraph): I Believe I deserve Pac3 because I would never abuse the privilege placed upon me, as I said before. I believe I am easy going and fun to hang around, and will take the appearance update in my stride and role play more effectively and may even make me more approachable and easier to talk to. I have noticed this myself when I'll comment on a PAC3 member's appearance and they will explain and talk about it, and instantly we are in a conversation. I have spent quite some time getting the hang of pac3 and I will take this seriously, and as an opportunity to improve my pac3 further. I believe this will help me improve them as I will get feedback from many people and encouragement that I will inspire me to be able to take those suggestions and come up with an even better idea. 15. Snows Moderator Application! Steam Details Steam Name: ✪ Snow Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:107128809 Steam Profile link: https://steamcommunity.com/id/rightfulsnow/ In Game Details In Game Name: Jaxon Nivix [Snow] In Game Rank: Workman In Game Regiment: Navy Engineers Time Played (Server Time/Screenshot evidence): 2 Weeks 1 Day 10 Hours 16 Minutes 44 Seconds Applicants History & Reasons Have you had any warns (If so state them): No, I have never had any warns in my time on Imperial Gaming nor do I intend to receive any. Have you had any bans (If so state them): No, I have never received any bans in my time on Imperial Gaming nor do I intend to receive any. Have you been staff on any other servers or communities (If so state them): Trial Event Master - Imperial Gaming (Retired) Senior Moderator - Seasonal Gaming (Retired) What do you believe is the purpose of Moderators on the server: The purpose of a moderator is to complete a variety of tasks to keep the server running smoothly. These tasks can include small things like spawning in ships, pulling someone out of a wall when they are stuck or setting people to a regiment. Larger tasks include dealing with Minging, RDM and Fail RP or even bullying occasionally. A lot of the Moderators purpose revolves around spreading enjoyment and improving the experiences on the server. As well as this they have to make sure that people are kept in line and make sure that everyone is following the rules and guidelines. Why are you applying to be a Trial Moderator: I am applying to be a Trial Moderator on Imperial gaming for a few reasons, I believe that I have the Skills, Experience and commitment to help the server grow and improve. As well as this im applying to help the staff team and improve the experiences on the server for the everyday user. I'm also trying to help out the occasionally overworked staff team, while I was a trial event master I saw a lot of tickets sit idle and I'm hoping to make sure that never happens again. What do you believe you can bring to the staff team: I can bring a strong work ethic and sense of justice, I'm no stranger to working with a team and have always had a love for star wars. I can also bring a creative fresh mind and assist in most situations with my experience from previous staff roles. I’ve had a lot of experience with staffing during my previous staff roles and I know I have what it takes. I'm an extremely active member of the community now and since I started in March/April. I'm also extremely approachable and love to have chits and or chats with anyone I see around the ship / [REDACTED]. To sum up, I'm an experienced, creative, hard-working guy. Scenarios Someone Mass RDM’s and disconnects from the server. What do you do?: First of all, I would grab the suspects steam ID then check logs to confirm that he did RDM and how many people he did RDM (I would also take screenshots for later use I.e ban appeal). Then I would go to the Victims and try to find out the motive of the Culprit and assure them that him/her will be dealt with. After I have found out exactly what has happened I would then warn the person (!warn NAME RDM x Number | DC to avoid Admin Sit). Someone is bullying another member of the community. What do you do?: I’ve had a lot of experience with bullying and I know that it is NOT tolerated under any circumstances in this community or anywhere else. If I were to find out that someone was bullying another member I would first talk to the victim and ask what happened, hopefully, I would get evidence. Once sufficient evidence is obtained I would comfort the victim and make sure they feel better. Once I’ve interviewed the victim I would try and find bystanders (if there are any) and interview them. Then I would make sure that all the evidence is legitimate and that this is a case of bullying (or if no evidence is provided I may have to ask management for logs so that I can confirm that bullying did take place). Once I’ve talked to the victim and bystanders I would return them and bring the suspected bully, I would ask the bully for his/her side of the situation and see if their stories match up. If the bully lied I would present the evidence and ask why they lied to a staff member. Then once that's been explained I would either Warn (!warn Name Bullying | Lying to Staff) or get a Mod+ to ban the bully for 3 days (Depending on the severity). If the bully was compliant then I would tell him/her “if any more bullying is to occur you will receive a 3-day ban along with another warn”. I would bring the victim and make them apologies then give the bully a warning for bullying (!Warn NAME Bullying). Following this for the next few days, I would make sure that the two get along and no more bullying occurs (If more were to then I would get a Mod+ to give the bully a 3-day ban and I would give the bully another warn). You see a higher ranking staff member abuse their powers. What do you do?: First, I would cloak and start up a video recording software. Then I would record the staff member abusing their powers. Once I’ve got sufficient evidence, I would then go to the high ranking staff member and find the motive and whether he/she will admit if he/she has, in fact, abused their powers or not. Then I would tell them to stop immediately and tell them that I am going to talk to management. Once I’ve done that I will send the evidence to whitey or Wolf and have them deal with it internally. Someone threatens to DDOS the server. what do you do?: To start off I would get the Suspects Steam ID and evidence that he/she did say that they would DDOS the server (Logs, Video or screenshots). Once I have confirmed that the person has threatened to DDOS the server I would first bring them into a Sit and ask why they threatened to DDOS the server, then I would make sure that they understand the severity of the threat. Once all the facts have been laid out I would get an Admin+ to Perma Ban them. Finally, I would notify the management team and assure them that the situation has been dealt with. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Things you can and cannot do/rules: 1. 16. Planz' Trial Moderator Application Steam Details Steam Name: [IG] Planz Steam ID: 76561198297448850 Steam Profile link: https://steamcommunity.com/id/Planz64 In Game Details In Game Name: Planz In Game Rank: Colonel In Game Regiment: Jump Troopers Time Played (Server Time/Screenshot evidence): 2 Weeks, 2 Days, 19 Hours Applicants History & Reasons Have you had any warns (If so state them): No Have you had any bans (If so state them): Yes, I have 1 ban on record. This was back when I first started, I was being mingy and annoyed a staff member called Vexer I believe. I got arrested for loitering and DC’ed in cuffs. Vexer then banned me for 1 day. Back when I first started I was quite mingy because I didn’t know what roleplay was and I was trying to figure out what role play was all about, It wasn’t until everyone accepted me into their community and I started ranking up in Jump Troopers that I started to pull my head in. Nowadays, I am extremely responsible and take my commanding position very seriously and would never make such a stupid mistake again. I love role-playing and the IG community helped me mature as a person in the short time of only a couple of months! Have you been staff on any other servers or communities (If so state them): No, however, I am very willing to learn and I think I will pick up all the ULX commands quickly as I already have basic knowledge of each command What do you believe is the purpose of Moderators on the server: I believe the purpose of a Moderator on the server includes a range of different things. The first being, a helping hand that everyone needs when they are first starting off. Stormtroopers and new people to the server are always looking for help and assistance. This can be either question about the rules, help with the content issue, Reporting minging or failrp, or getting pulled from the walls after an 'innocent revive' goes wrong. The Moderators job is to make them feel welcome and accepted into the community if the moderator does his sit correctly and sorts out the problem, that could be the prompt they need to stay on the server and keep enjoying the wonderful world of SWRP. Another job Moderators do is the menial tasks. This can include; Giving people tools, Spawning in Vehicles, Setting Event Characters back to their normal ranks, Promoting/Demoting people into/out of regiments, and moving people out of the way with Phys Guns when everyone is spawning in after a map change. These are all essential things that need to be done to keep the server flowing and running smoothly. The Moderator needs to know that these sort of tasks will be involved and not hesitate to accept the tickets to perform these tasks no matter how they are feeling at the time. Moderators also deal with bullying and fights. If two or more players are fighting and bullying each other and it starts to get out of hand, the moderator needs to be there to step in and sort out the problem before it continues further or spirals out of control. They are there to make every player feel safe and secure whilst on the server and they need to be able to communicate effectively with each person involved and hand out the appropriate punishments needed to ensure this behaviour doesn't continue. Most of all, the Moderator is here to make everyone feel safe and secure, and happy with their time on SWRP. They need to be approachable and easy to talk to, as well as disciplined and well educated in the rules of the Server. They need to be able to think quick on their feet, and deal with each situation accordingly, dealing out appropriate punishments and keeping each situation under their control. They also need to not hesitate to ask for help from more experienced Moderators, as they will most likely have experienced something similar to what the current issue is. Why are you applying to be a Trial Moderator: I am applying to become a Trial Moderator so I can give back to the wonderful community that I was welcomed into on the 17/6/18. I have loved every bit of my time since I joined and would love to give back to all the lovely people that I have met over the past few months. From the time I joined I have always loved helping people. Whether that is assisting someone with saving his binds in the console, Helping someone out with his faces and formations, hosting public training with climb swep and assisting someone with grappling onto the ledge, or simply answering questions I hear in the hallway. These are some examples to name a few. It is really rewarding for me to help someone out, and watch them continue to get better. I love assisting people and believe this is a great trait to have as a T-Mod. I believe I have all the needed qualities for a T-Mod and really look forward to expressing my attributes and qualities if I get gifted the wonderful opportunities of Trial Moderator. What do you believe you can bring to the staff team: I will bring a dedicated and responsible individual to the staff team. I am very willing to learn and never hesitate to ask questions. I believe this is an essential quality to have as this makes it easy to pick things up and allows you to excel in the job given to you much quicker. I never minge and always carry myself around the ship in a responsible manner, but also in a way that is open and friendly. I know a lot of people shut off private stormtroopers and treat them like dirt, however a quality I pride myself on is always talking to new Stormtroopers and very low-rank troopers, I am always professional around them, however I will still have a conversation with them and welcome them to speak about any problems they have around the ship. I enjoy listening to their stories and it reminds me of myself back when I was an ST. I believe having this quality will also be very useful as a Trial Moderator because you need someone to connect with the troopers and understand each situation so they can properly deal with them and hand out the correct punishments. I am also very active on the server and will continue to be very active if I get this position. I am on every day and make sure I talk to people and interact with everyone to keep enjoying my time on IG. I’m the commander of Jump Troopers and always take pride in managing my regiment and making sure everyone knows what to do, everyone is in line and disciplined, and I also hand out the correct punishments when needed. I believe the skills needed for commanding, ties in very well with the skills needed for moderating. Overall, I believe that from my experiences being a Commander and willingness to assist people in their problems, I have the skills and qualities that a T-Mod needs to have. Scenarios Someone Mass RDM’s and disconnects from the server. What do you do?: First thing I would do is check the logs and note down the people they damaged/killed. I would then make sure I check the list of recently disconnected players and see if the accused player did indeed disconnect. After I have gathered my evidence I would deal out the appropriate punishment depending on the number of people killed and damaged. For Example, If they killed 10 troopers and then disconnected I would first check the logs and confirm it was indeed 10 troopers then I would warn them for RDM -10 and Disconnecting to Avoid Admin Sit. Someone is bullying another member of the community. What do you do?: First I would separate the two people. The one that was accused of bullying and the one that was getting bullied. I would then interview both people and get each side of the story as well as if I could beforehand record any examples of the bullying happening. After I have collected sufficient evidence I would then warn the player for ‘Bullying’ and reassure the victim that it has been dealt with and if it does continue, to contact me or another moderator to deal out a harsher punishment until the bullying stops. Imperial Gaming takes bullying very seriously and as a moderator, I need to reflect these same viewpoints through the appropriate punishments until the person stops. You see a higher ranking staff member abuse their powers. What do you do?: First I would try and secretly record them using noclip and cloak and make sure I have enough evidence as possible. I would then confront them and ask them if they knew what they were doing and if they were aware it was admin power abuse. If they shrug me off, ignore me or laugh at me, I would then go to a higher up admin, most likely Super Admin+ and show them all the evidence I have of the abuse, as well as recordings of people I interview that may have seen this abuse happening. If after the situation is dealt with and they continue to do this, I would repeat the same process and make sure I have enough evidence before showing the higher up and explaining that that individual was still abusing their powers. Someone threatens to DDOS the server. what do you do?: The first thing I would do is check chat logs and interview people around the incident to get evidence that this actually did happen. If I have enough evidence I would then ban the player permanently and state the reason as ‘Threatening to DDOS the Server’. I would make sure I save all the evidence and keep it so when they make a Ban Appeal or someone contests the ban, I will have the evidence needed to support my reasoning behind the Ban. P.S - Thank You for taking the time to read this application I put a lot of hard work into making this professional and up to the standard expected of a Trial Moderator. Cheers, Planz --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Things you can and cannot do/rules 1. Anything to be honest, I'm more into the scripting side and am a quick learner with programming but I could learn other stuff just as quick too. Have you made any other scripts or content I should know about? Nothing worth talking about to be honest, mainly just scripts to automate things for me Not a lot in Gmod but I have played around with LUA before. More: I am currently a second year computer science student at university. Doing that along side a development job here in NZ. Love gaming and love coding and always keen to learn new things / further enhance my current development skills. My play time probably isn't high enough for this and you dont really know me so there is that too but thought I would give it a shot any chance for some more coding / creating Thanks for reading! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DEVELOPER TERMS: If you are a Developer for Imperial Gaming any and all content you make that goes on our server is exclusive to Imperial Gaming. (I have merged this question and the last one into one) I have created many things such as: How have you improved the Roleplay for other members of the community whilst using PAC 3? I believed I have improved the roleplay for the community as I have made my character(s) more realistic, as shown with the PACs above. I have been roleplaying as a female character lately and have made myself have more feminine features such as making my breasts and hips larger. I have hidden my physgun and physgun beam in events so people don't see the blue beam coming out when I am moving a vehicle or a prop whilst I run an event as I am an Event Master. I have made some animations and actions, so instead of doing /me I can physically do it with PAC3 which I believe is much more immersive. With PAC3 Tier 1 I believe I have improved the Role Playing experience for everyone in the community. What has been improved from the implementation of PAC 3? I believe people's roleplay has been greatly improved with PAC3. The use of PAC3 has made a more immersive Roleplaying experience for everyone. For example, the drink tray PAC and the physgun PAC. People with PAC can do actions such as pulling out a datapad and reading off it, having a mouse droid, etc. This allows for more RP opportunities as people have to RP to have a mouse droid pet or a robotic limb. They have to go through the process and then implement it into their PAC. I believe PAC3 is a great way to further immerse people and show off cool and unique Role Playing situations.

Have you been staff on any other servers or communities (If so state them): No this is my first time even applying for staff on any server. What do you believe is the purpose of Moderators on the server: I believe the purpose of being a moderator on the server is to make sure that everyone is enjoying there time and not being harassed or abused on the server by other players and to stop anyone from being mingy. I also believe that being a moderator doesn't give you special privileges when it comes to also following the rules of the server and you must not abuse your powers, Such as Teleport around the ship or map just to start RPing in that area, or Giving Tool guns to my friends when they do not need it for Building or Tryouts. Why are you applying to be a Trial Moderator: I am Applying for Moderator on this server because I always see Moderator's doing there job and stopping people from minging and it looks like something i want to do and help out with, Another reason i am applying for Mod on this server is because of the Awesome Community and i want to do my best to keep it that why by stopping Minges/RDMer's and anyone that is simply not following the rules. You see a higher ranking staff member abuse their powers. What do you do?: Firstly i would get my recording software up and running filming my screen and then i would approach the Abusing Staff Member and ask them why they are doing what they are doing to insure that they are actually abusing there powers and i would ask them to stop and tell them that i will have to report this to a Red Tag, Where i would upload the video to Youtube and give the link to a Red Tag to make the final Decision. Someone threatens to DDOS the server. what do you do?: As Only being a Trial Moderator i would inform someone Admin+ To deal with the situation because DDos Threats are not something to be joking around with i would also Screenshot or Try my best to record the Person threatening the server for as much evidence as Possible. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Things you can and cannot do/rules: 1. Why should you be trusted with PAC (1 Paragraph): I believe I can be trusted with PAC because I have never been warned or banned showing I can be trusted with the PAC rules and guidelines, I am trustworthy, I never will abuse this beautiful system, have never been arrested and due to my playtime I am not here to use PAC irresponsibly. I never minge and think of Imperial Gaming as my second home, I am active and can tend to be on for 4-6 hours a day. My final reason is that I have used PAC for 1 Month meaning that I am responsible with PAC. Why do you want access to PAC (1 Paragraph): I want access to PAC is because I want to create my own unique character, (To stand out in more) enhancing everyone's RP onboard of the 7th Fleet. With PAC, I want to show my character, showing my unique characters traits and try to create ideas. Allowing me to access PAC will make me be able to help people to the best of my ability. Why do you believe you deserve PAC (1 Paragraph): I believe you should let me have PAC3 because I'm Trustworthy, responsible and Mature while using PAC. I will never abuse this Wonderful System. Another Reason is that I want to bring more RP and Immersion into the IG server, Such as Bowing. It will help me make my own Unique character into the star wars universe instead of looking like all the other Models. For newcomers to Star wars RP and PAC3, I would be able to help to my best ability and assisting new ideas. I would use pac3 in order to individualize my character, such as adding some unique capes and droids around my character. Why do you believe you deserve PAC (1 Paragraph): My pac3 usage will only be used to individualize my character within what one would expect of character to wear or have in lore. I wont be adding bunny ears or anything ridiculous to my inquisitor model for example. I PAC3 Examples: (Insert screenshots of your PAC3 Examples here) this is a backshot of my inquisitor model with a cape and droid (if someone can link me to a cooler cape model that would be great :) )
  24. Support Team Application Steam Name: [IG] Sambell Steam 64ID: STEAM_0:1:62514838 In game name and rank: [MT] "Van Helsing" - Rank 70 How old are you?: 22 Time Played: 3 Weeks 1d 16minutes Do you have a microphone?: Sure do Why are you applying for this position?: I am applying to become a member of the Staff Team because I enjoy helping other players and members of the community with whatever it is they may need help with. I pride myself on being able to always make time to help those in need. I feel that if I am accepted and recognised as a member of the Staff Team, I will be able to reach more members that need help as they will know I am someone that can help if they have not had interactions with me before, without relying on them asking me in-game and finding out that I can assist them that way. How will allowing you to be apart of our support team help us: I believe having more members of the staff team could bring nothing but positive things to the community. If I become a member, it will add another person people can come to in need of help, as nobody should be expected to be available 24 hours a day 7 days a week, everyone has things they need to do outside of the community and that is perfectly okay, so allowing myself to be another person that people can go to for help just makes it possible to reach out and help a higher volume of players and adds the possibility of catching those people that might need help at certain times that nobody may have been previously online or available to do so. Have you been a Staff on previous servers if so please list them: No previous servers, but I am currently a Junior Event Master on Imperial Gaming Have you had any warnings, kicks or bans if so please list them: None Do you understand that you will need to join the support channels and help people who are in them?: I understand, and I have no issue with doing so Do you understand you are a support team member NOT a staff member?: Although I will be both if I am accepted, I will not and do not see myself as being above anyone else for being so, staff or not. Anything else you would like to add: Regardless of wether I am accepted or not, I will continue to do my best in helping the members of the Imperial Gaming community. Terms I accept that I am a representative of Imperial Gaming, and that I have been given these powers to make the experience of others better. I understand that advertising my application can get it denied. I accept that I may be demoted at any time by a senior member of the support team without prior warning, as long as a valid reason is given. I have read all the rules and understand them completely, if not I will ask a higher staff member for a better explanation. - Helsing
