  10. Well, we already have all of that stuff in-game I just like having everything under the one roof so it can talk to each other easier and makes it easier than having to remember the !plicense or !aos command.
  11. Hey guys, I was just wondering if you guys like the new menu I'm making - Basically, I just want some community input regarding the Layout and Additions to the menu. I was thinking of making the following additions to our new menu. Custom Titles in your clearance cards in addition to your pilot license you can also get a custom group added for example - [TI] (Tarkins Initiative) and [Head of Engineering] for example. These titles would not be earned lightly and usually would only be held by one person on the ship. I am also looking at the ability to make this modular so you can make new Titles in the game and set a custom color for your text etc. If you have any suggestions for new additions/modules to be added to the menu please suggest them below. I would also like any input on the Layout of the menu as I want to make this menu as modular and fluid as possible. The idea is that I will just drag and drop an addon into this and do a little bit of extra backend to create the look for that module. If you think there is a better layout please let me know and if you think I could include more on the screen by scaling things down then let me know. Users and Staff will have different layouts obviously, with modules added to their list based on their usergroup. This is a mockup of my idea of what it might look like, Obviously, there could be a lot more done. Personally, I hate posting screenshots of work that hasn't been released yet as people like to take our ideas and claim them as their own. But I really wanted community input before undertaking a project like this to make probably the last menu layout we are going to use and stick with for the remainder of Imperial Gaming. Now the idea behind it is fairly good but you'd need to consider that we would essentially be either overwriting the player's job's pre-existing clearance level which would mean Once the player respawns it would be reset You would need to reset the clearance level every single time Otherwise, if you wanted your event character job to have a different clearance to the specified event job this would need to be stored somewhere - it doesn't get stored in thin air so we would also need to consider Is it worth our resources Is it practical? Is it worth the dev teams time to make this? At the end of the day, we could easily just make 6 blank event jobs that have clearances 1-6 in them and you guys can just mess around with them. This is a much more effective idea in my eyes as it doesn't take away from current developer tasks as I am currently the only one who could probably implement this as I have the most experience with the keycards.

  16. Power of the people I have lowered the price for the Pulse cannon to 400,000 credits the other prices, however, will stay the same. 1000 hrs for Non-Donators 666 hrs for Non-Donators with [IG] Tag 666 hrs for Donators 500 hrs for Donators with [IG] Tag
  17. The reason for this is that weapons like the Pulse cannon and Clone launcher cost so much is because they are extremely overpowered. The weapon prices on the store are a reflection of how powerful they are, I have priced them in a way that not any old joe can just get them. You need to play on our server for a very long time in order to get some of these powerful weapons. Because quite frankly I don't want everybody on the server to own a pulse cannon. The weapons are for people who are dedicated to playing our server it might seem unrealistic but the intention is that the people who unlock these weapons are long serving and trusted member in our community.

    Warns

    To add onto what Whitey said, we typically only really pull people aside and explain a warning if we think you understand what you've done wrong. For example; Someone mic-spamming who has been told to stop and doesn't will get a warning. Someone who is shooting people randomly around the ship will get a warning for Random deathmatching (RDM). Someone who is excessively swearing in OOC or abusing other players will be given a warning. Most warnings that are issued are usually self-explanatory because if you're going around shooting multiple people you obviously know what you're doing wrong and to otherwise sit down and have a discussion about it would often result in the accused person trying to convince their way out of the warning saying they didn't know they couldn't shoot people randomly. Ultimately sparking a debate between the player and the staff member and wasting still resulting in a warning and wasting the staff members time. Some warnings are different however and could have a bit of backstory to it if this occurs put in @ chat and ask if you can be spoken to about the warning and they can backtrack with plogs and with the data they have at the time they could change their decision. Unless you have significant evidence I don't recommend appealing for a warning to be removed days after it has been issued as it can sometimes be difficult to assess the situation properly.
