  1. There are multiple player models in the server that have broken hitboxes, this results in multiple teamkills especially in firing lines and causes some problems.

    Current Models known to be broken:

    • Scout Commandos
    • Rancor Models (All except commander I believe)
    • Cinder Squad Models

    Whether this is because the model is not on the server or not installed correctly or is just a bad model it would be great to see what the devs can do.

    Why are you applying for this position?: I am applying for this position because I would love to be an event master, I am a very active person on the server and am very creative. I can think of ideas on the spot if needed and have the ability to make very fun events for the server. Another reason I am applying is that I feel like and some other people can agree that the server is lacking in Event Masters and if I were to become an Event Master I would be able to help out the current event masters and bring new ideas to the server. The thing that motivates me to do events is the fact that people are having fun and enjoying it. I have a good personality, passion to work and a good sense of humour which makes me a good person to become an event master. I have a lot of knowledge in garrysmod which can help in a lot of different aspects when performing my job. This along with many other reasons is why I am applying for it.

    How will allowing you to be apart of our staff team help us?: If I were to be accepted it would help the community as the events would be of better quality as other event masters won't have to constantly do events and would have more time to think of ideas. I would be able to bring new RP experiences and ideas to events. It would help the other event masters as I could suggest new ideas and help them with events, It would take a lot of stress of their back's and would make everyone's experience on the server better. If I were to get this position I would be able to help other event masters and spread tips around the team in general due to my experience in gmod. I would be able to teach them shortcuts to things like building and educate them in how to use ULX and other event tools we are given, this could change the whole event master scheme as a whole due to better educated event masters.

    • I have 1 warning from a while ago in which I cannot remember exactly what happened, however that was probably when I wasn't apart of the community and came on here to minge (which I regret)
    • My 2nd warning was disrespecting a staff member in which I deeply regret, I didn't mean it to offend the person and after apologised and regretted my action. I have learnt to think before saying things after this situation.

    What can you do to make events more enjoyable and attract more people?: To make events more enjoyable for everyone I would give people objectives/orders based on their regiments role. For example: Imperial Commandos would do any assassinations and would prioritise in killing the jedi, 31st Demolitions Batallion would be the demo experts and would blow up any enemy things that require it, Terror Troopers would do any stealth missions, Scout Troopers would snipe and complete recon along with SCAR. Stormtroopers, shore troopers and snow troopers would be the forward force during the battle whilst the guarding regiments would help them if no one needs guarding. Doing this would help improve the RP on the server and overall make people enjoy it more. I would make the events unique and use new maps, I would ensure that everyone has a job to do and the event doesn't go for too long or it isn't too short.

    Two different example events that you will do if you get accepted for the position of Event Master:

    Event One - On/Off Ship Event

    Map: rp_stardestroyer_v1

    Characters: 6x Droids | Appropriate Droid Model | DLT-19 and CIS sniper if there are a lot of troopers | ~2500 health

    2x Rebel Pilots | Rebel Model | X-Wing or A-Wing

    Plot: During free-flight/DEFCON 5 navy detects 2 ships coming out of hyperspace they also detect a large amount of electrical disturbance coming from the ships via CONSCA.

    After TIE's are deployed and the ships get taken down I will spawn in 2 crashed x-wing models where the x-wings crashed and spawn in half droids on one and half on the other.

    The navy will notify the troopers about the detected droids and will tell them they are destroying the ships hull and weapon systems, possibly preparing for an invasion.

    The troopers will have 2 minutes to seal their helmets and get ready and they will then get flown via dropship to the hull. When they reach the hull the troopers will have roughly 5 minutes to neutralise all the droids to make the star destroyer safe.

    If the troopers succeed they will collect one of the droids dome's and bring it to ISB. The ISB will then try to find the origin of the droids and based on the results the troopers will get bought to debrief and notified about the incident. We will then head out to the origin of the droids and find a rebel base taking us to Phase Two of the event.

    If the troopers do not succeed and they manage to penetrate the shield and weapons systems then the whole star destroyer will get invaded by a rebel fleet and could result in other outcomes - (gm_jakku_wreck) in which we have to defend against rebels for 10 minutes until we get reinforcements 

    Phase Two

    Map: rp_kashyyyk_jungle_b2

    Characters: 6x Rebels | Rebel Model | DLT-19's and A280C's | ~3000 health 

    2x Wookies | Wookie Model | Bowcaster | ~2000 health

    Plot: The rebels will be stationed in a small compound protected by a ray shield and are getting the assistance of wookies, troopers will have to find 3 shield generators and plant explosives on them to blast the ray shield open, the troopers will then use explosives to blast into the compound and neutralise the rebels, the rebels will slowly push back and if they die they will get respawned up until the last part of the compound. When all the rebels are neutralised and they can't push back if any rebels survive they may choose to surrender and get executed at debrief or run to a CR90 corvette and attempt to escape. When all the rebels and wookies are gone we will return back to our star destroyer via dropships and debrief will be held.


    Event Two - On Ship Event

    Map: rp_stardestroyer_v1

    Characters: 1x Rodian Bounty Hunter who is good at PassiveRP | DL-44, Restraints & 5000 health

    1x High Rank naval member if one is not online. | Naval Captain+ Job

    2x Naval Guard if none are online | Naval Guard Job

    Plot: A rodian bounty hunter will be let on the ship to negotiate trade routes through a nearby system as the bounty hunters clan is blocking it.

    The bounty hunter will land and get escorted to the bridge conference room and have a meeting with the high ranking navy member.

    After a few minutes of negotiating the trade routes the bounty hunter will get furious and giveup, he knows that the empire will not let him off the ship so he results in killing the 2 naval guard and taking the high rank naval member hostage.

    He will use the naval member as leverage to get off the ship and the troopers will decide what to do in order to kill the bounty hunter and save the captain.

    This gives no personal information just information about the crash and what caused it. (obviously find it to the corresponding date)

    Consider the amount of fps we get from a average sized map.

    Now, you want to use an even larger map. We'd be on 5fps.

    Server can't handle 70 + people, npc's and an enormous map.
