What do you believe is the purpose of Moderators on the server:
The purpose of moderators is to enforce the rules of the server to ensure that all players have a pleasant experience. By making sure that all players abide by the rules, moderators allow the server to be free of RDM, verbal abuse, hacking and other issues that can make the server less appealing to the average player. Moderators are also the backbone of the server in making sure all staff tickets are handled quickly and efficiently. Moderators need to respond to player issues and queries in a timely manner to provide a clean and fun server so that the players are happy, which is priority number one.
Why are you applying to be a Trial Moderator:
I am applying to be a Trial Moderator so that I can join an already-great staff team and do my part in helping the server be better and cleaner for new and existing players. My 2 months on this server have been nothing short of great and I want to give back to the community in any way I can. I am already in the Junior Graphic Designer team and I would like to further expand my responsibilities to the Staff team.
What do you believe you can bring to the staff team:
Firstly, I am very active on the server and hence can make sure that the server is adequately moderated throughout the day and in off-peak hours where rule breaking occurs more frequently. I would also be able to utilise my prior experience as staff to properly handle common cases such as RDM as well as console rowdy players by adopting a mature and friendly tone to inform them of what they are doing wrong. Staff members should also act as role models to new and current players on the server, and with my experience I believe I can be that role model when I am required to be so.
Someone Mass RDM’s and disconnects from the server. What do you do?:
Firstly, I would get the individual's Steam ID from the console. I would then consult each individual that was RDM'd to ensure that this was an RDM incident and not a combat simulation etc. Once I have confirmed that the incident was indeed RDM, I would warn the disconnected player for "RDM x (number of players RDM'd)". Since I would be new to the staff team, I would consult staff resources or a higher up to see what the appropriate ban length is for the player. I would then ban him for that period of time and take note of the player's name and Steam ID somewhere for future reference.
Someone is bullying another member of the community. What do you do?:
Bullying should never be tolerated, especially in a server where there are younger players present. I would message the player who is getting bullied and ask if he can supply any evidence of the bullying occurring, whether that be screenshots or a video. I would then approach the bully and hear their side of the story. If I have sufficient evidence against the bully, I would warn/ban them depending on the severity of the situation. Otherwise, I would calmly explain how bullying isn't tolerated on the server and that if that wasn't their intention, just to be careful what they say next time.
You see a higher ranking staff member abuse their powers. What do you do?:
Before raising any suspicion from the abusing staff member, I would grab as much evidence as I can of the abuse of power. I would then confront the staff member, notifying them of what I have witnessed and tell them to stop their abuse of power. I would then present the evidence to higher ranking staff members such as the management team and have them resolve the issue from there on.
Someone threatens to DDOS the server. what do you do?:
I would grab as much evidence as I can of the threats, whether it be text chat or video of him confessing his intentions to DDOS the server. I would not directly approach the suspect as to not arouse suspicion, and present the evidence to the higher ups to get advice on how to handle the situation. If they want to handle the situation themselves, I would give them all the evidence I have and have them deal with the rest of the issue.

You may bump your application every 7 days after the last bump/post by a user (1 week) 2. Any user may provide feedback by +1 and or -1 your application along with constructive criticism/feedback as long as it's not personally attacking the applicant or another member of the community. 3. Advertising your application in OOC, chat box, personally telling people and any sort of social media will lead to your application being denied for minimum 3 weeks. 4. Failing to answer questions can lead to your app being denied. 5. False information can lead to your application being denied. 6. Failing to meet the requirements can lead to either your app being put on hold or denied. 7. 5 or more warnings and your application will be denied immediately. 8. Must have at least 1 week on the server before applying. 9. Must have less than 2 bans to apply (Depending on the situation).
10. You may not increase the font size of the application above size 14 except the title which may be size 24.
11. Please be considerate of others when using colours in your application, all answers must be left in white.
12. Remember that your application is a reflection of yourself, your professionalism and maturity. Not showing professionalism and maturity in your application will lead to it being denied.
13. If your application is denied you may not apply for Trial Moderator for 2 weeks minimum.
Terms I accept that I am a representative of Imperial Gaming, and that I have been given these powers to make the experience of others better. I understand that advertising my application can get it denied. I accept that I may be demoted at any time by a senior member of staff without prior warning, as long as a valid reason is given. I have read all the rules and understand them completely, if not I will ask a higher staff member for a better explanation.
