Dear all, It is with deep sorrow that I announce my retirement from the Community Manager role within the Imperial Gaming Community. After much thought, discussions with Wolf and internal debate I have decided to hang up the hat, and it wasn’t an easy decision. When I took up this role I gave myself a timeline to achieve what I wanted to achieve as well as some guidelines. I always said to myself that If I started to not enjoy what I was doing, If it was creating too much stress, If I believe that my actions were no longer in the best interest of the community or If I felt I’ve achieved everything I wanted and that the Community needed new guidance – then I would retire. Over my time I believe I have always acted in the best interests of the Community and helped shape, direct and recover the community to a sustainable model. I’m extremely proud of every single person I’ve worked with and what we have achieved – Recovering from the original EG split which was on the verge of killing IG, bringing new gameplay and reshaping the Imperial server, expansion to our Clone Wars server and now soon to be our third Server. And would like to thank each of those individuals who toughed it out along the journey. I know I’m not an easy taskmaster but we got there in the end. Now after a discussion with Wolf it was an easy decision to name @Chopz as the new Community Manager who has some exciting directions for the community with his new Server. I have always seen Chopz as someone who has the same drive and passion and can’t wait to see what he does with IG. For those worrying, I won’t be leaving the community but simply stepping aside from day to day operations. I will still advise and assist the management team and anyone that seeks help in any capacity (It’s up to Wolf to decide what that role is). I have enjoyed every last minute in my roles on IG, but for now, from your retired Friendly Neighbourhood Community Manager this is… Goodbye, Farewell and Amen

Hello Imperial Gaming, Last night I was given the news that one of my friends had taken his own life. my friend Daniel was a person who I had met through Star Wars RP and someone I hadn't spoken to consistently, but we always managed to find our way back to talking to each other, he was a good guy and it pains me to know that I'm not going to be able to talk to him ever again, but, in thinking of this and in his memory, I'd like to speak to the Imperial Gaming Community as a whole about mental health and making sure you're all ok. This is not just to those who are my friends, this is to everybody, we all struggle, we all have problems, but you are loved, cared for and people enjoy your company, this world is better off with you here, as is this community, no matter how big or small your contribution. It is ok, not to be ok, every day in Australia, 4 young men take their own lives, and with our community predominantly being Males, this affects every single member of IG, no matter gender, race, age, creed, and friendships. If you're not feeling ok, get help, speak to someone, if you can't speak to anyone you know, go online and speak to a Hotline. Speak to anyone, don't keep it bottled up, you're not alone and there are people trying to help everywhere. Stay safe. I care for each and every one of you. Suicide Hotline 13 11 14 Black Dog Institute https://www.blackdoginstitute.org.au/ Headspace Australia https://headspace.org.au/eheadspace/ Rest in Peace Dan, I know you're watching over people now like you did when you were with us. Thank you for every memory we shared, I won't forget you. No one will.

f**k me That's the problem Instead of trying to find a RP reason to why he attemped to kill you, you immediately move to phys gunning and saying "bro your shooting a mod". Furthermore, you decide in your infinite wisdom to verbally assault him. I know this is a meme, but seriously. Assuming you do the majority of your sits like this, your behaviour is atrocious. Then, I assume you don't give him a RP punishment, the whole point of this video boils down to poor staffing and management of a situation. Then you ban him for 3300 minutes? (Give or take, can't read on mobile) for attempted mass rdm? His target is clearly the other sith and only hit the other person because he moved your way. This is really bad staffing, not that I'm speaking from personal experience, although you really need to check what you do in sits before you decide to post a video literally showing you being a poor staff member. All the best, Marsh.

Hey All, I thought I would give poster making a crack and have worked on this design the past few days trying to get it to a point where I was comfortable with it. The poster design is Star Wars related and is just a random title, If you have any ideas for any posters that would look cool please leave them below as I am wishing to work on some more in the near future Regards, Sully ___________________________ If you like, leave a to show your support.

Gooood afternoon mate. Firstly before I get started I have been away for a few days on holiday so I saw everything tonight basically and it's not good. Allright firstly you went on about free speach, you are correct you can do free speech however there's limits you are able to go with free speech, for an example I do something unprofessional, free speech can be along the lines "Yeah that was unprofessional as hell", not like "f*** that was autistic what the f***". There is a difference between free speech and just running your mouth off until you have said every bad word in the book. It's called being respectfull and professional Secondly you stated you have every right to join any steam group you want, You are 100% correct you do have that right to join whatever steam group you desire however when you join a steam group that not only wrongly insult but also has things like "autistic" aimed at a staff member or even a player, we have every right to take action to remove you from the community as it is our right to do that, it also goes against our community rules as you are on purpose aiming this at a staff member or player which is just completely wrong, even if you don't think they won't see it. Your actions that you did yourself, your actions led you to post on there, on this ban appeal, no one threatened you or blackmailed you to do those things and you cannot blame peer pressure as at the end of the day, your actions and your own decision caused this so you cannot blame other people for your own actions and decisions. I believe you need to think hard about that. It's not Snoozys fault you joined it, you clicked the button, you wrote a comment and you joined in, your own actions and decisions did that, not snoozy, not your friends, it was you so do not blame snoozy or anyone else for your own actions you decided to take. Your acxount was never deleted, was just banned, if it was deleted there is no way of getting it back unless i upload my database of members i keep a downlaod of each week due to a past accident (our bad excalibur) however i am not home so no access to my desktop. Your account being banned was not done by who you think it was, unless you think it was Cody, Cody was told about a community ban and it is his job to look after forum profile Bans once he was told he banned your forum account however once he was told you had a unban appeal he realised his mistake and you were unbanned, it is a genuine mistake that shouldn't be taken personally and he does apologise. Therefore I do not believe a punishment is in order, I have already asked him to double check next time and I believe that is the best course of action for this incident. You can of course challenge that and have a talk to me when I get back from my holiday overseas and we can come to an professional and fair agreement. In my opinion I don't believe you realise what you did was bad from.your actions in this ban appeal and what you said in the actual ban appeal it seems you juat want to be unbanned and not taking any blame for your own actions, passing it on to somone else and not really carong as you just dont want to be banned. it does not matter if the person is a staff member or player, you should treat everyone with the same respect that you would like back, this way everyone can have a professional standpoint and be able to do free speech.

Hi all, For those that don't already know, I am departing from IG for a while to ensure that I don't do sh*t at school. I am resigning from CO position in VF and as a Moderator on Imperial (Could set me to user). I would like to thank every one of you that have impacted the time of my playtime on IG. Start off with who introduced me to IG - @Vanilla, a bit of backstory, Vanilla played on IG way before me. I and a few of my IRL friends wanted him to play R6 and we thought the only way was to make him quit IG, sooooo I went on to minge and get him in trouble, obviously, I fell in love with SWRP and IG. When I joined @Ragdig, trained me when he was a JT. On the 26/9/18 A random ST PVT gave me a tour and asked if I wanted to sit in the Emperor's chair. I said of course than I died. After this and wondering around for a few days, I befriended two ST's Droplet and Bass. We did the usual minge and got bored before we decided to be cool kids and go into the vents. This was when the TI vault was near the engine room and it was accessible. Of course, I was told to look inside and I immediately got dropped down the vent into the Vault, we went to DEFCON 2 and I sh*t my self and ran. After this, I was VF training in MH2, they were doing attack/defence bunker battles and I saw my good ol mate Droplet, I was like cool Ill join and after a few games me and @Wind 1v1ed he was an Officer Cadet. He obviously destroyed me using the superior DLT-19. I was wondering around the ISD after an event and saw Droplet as a VF, so I was like cool ill join. Somehow I passed tryouts and I got into VF on the 30/9/18 I rose through the ranks of VF slowly till CL2 and Than CL3 when good ol Major Tom became a meme. never forget. When the new CWRP server come out Wind and a large amount of other VF left also. I was then left as ACO of VF. VF had its ups and its downs but with @Ghost4448 @Outback's help, it became a great reg, when suddenly a large amount of VF left within a few days and with school starting it back up it seemed doomed. But with a small number of dedicated people, we managed to keep it alive for a while. In the end today. Some notable moments of my time that didnt make the cut 1. Whitey Being Whitey at ST training 2. Me saying that im good at math at tryouts 3. Getting demoted for calling wind a girl 4. Vanilla and Adams Wedding 5. Becoming 2IC of VF 6. Going to the Death Star for the first time and Vanilla Pming me that he had pissed him self and needed new pants. 7. The Bane Tank 8. Tarkin (Jman) Mowing down people outside ILC being rebuilt 9. @LuckyMikey not knowing how to climbswep until Sgt 10. Whitey Being Whitey Yet Again 11. IC stack 12. March of the CO's 13. Whitey Being Whitey Yet again SMH MY HEAD 14. This And many more. Thank you to all members of management for making such a great community, Long Live IG Love you all Bye

I had an urge to write, and Matrix had already written me into a story, so I decided to write about that. If you don't know my character, here's some brief context. Chuck us some feedback too, always looking to improve. If you like it, leave an upvote! ____________________________________________________________________________________________ It is your emotions that drove you here, your emotions that made you strong, and your emotions that will lead you to the information you seek about your parents. He'd always had a way with words. He used to read to his sisters at night, to his mother in the morning, to all who would listen. Words had always been his specialty. "You are my sunrise and sunset," she would say. "Never let anybody silence you." Don't be like them. She, being his mother. His real mother. The one who took him in and gave him food and a home, when his old family abandoned him. Yet he had never felt more enslaved to anything in his life than he did to these words. Emperor Palpatine's words, echoing through his head every minute of every day. Driving him towards his goal. It is your attachment, your fear of losing those you love that gives you the drive you need to succeed. His attachment. He'd often felt ashamed of his attachment. He was so dependent on his family, when the other children had been so free-spirited and mature. Feel the pain of your loss. Did he really lose anything? All he had before they gave him away was a woman to feed him milk as a babe. He clearly wasn't good enough, otherwise they would have chosen him over their precious order. The dark side will make you unstoppable, and one day you can have your revenge. Yet he now understood their loyalty. Why have a child, when all it does is creates a weakness? Of course, that wasn't their reasoning, but that his parents chose to abandon him was equally as impressive as it was painful. For an order centred around peace, the Jedi were very disconnected. The transport slowed slightly, as it entered the Joranus asteroid belt. He wasn't far off Alderaan. 'Rook' returned his gaze to the note in his hand. A message from Lord Vader himself. "Vanquisher. I trust by now you have heard the rumours. Whispers of a dark presence on Alderaan. Find the source, tame it, and bring it to me. Do not return to me if you fail." He wasn't going to fail. "How far from the planet, Helix?" he asked. "Not long, sir. We'll be entering the system in about two minutes." "And security?" "They know we're coming. They won't stop you." His pilot, Helix, had a keen eye for flight, and a knack for detail. Her deep purple skin was darker than most Keshiri, signifying a purer bloodline, and she sported a large scar across her left cheek. Being pure bloods, her family had the honour of serving some of the greater Sith lords of the past. She had been assigned to him upon his appointment as Vanquisher and had vowed to assist the Skyborn in any way possible. The Keshiri were a proud and old race, loyal to their masters and family. Their ancestors swore a life of servitude to the Sith after mistaking a crashed shuttle for a visit from their ‘Skyborn’ gods, yet once a vow is made, it is never broken. They serve with dignity and pride. “Good,” Rook said, “It is rare that I say this, but I am in no mood for murder.” The shuttle landed with a soft thud, and its doors slid open silently, the slightly stale atmosphere of Alderaan meeting his mouth and nose. The smell of half-burnt forests and an industrialised ecosystem filled his lungs. He must have responded audibly, as Helix smirked. “Not a fan of plants, Vanquisher?” she asked slyly. “It smells of human,” Rook replied, “it’s not exactly paradise.” “It’s better than where you’re from.” “Don’t test me, girl.” She was fearless, despite the numerous skulls he’d claimed as trophies, and the lightsaber strapped to his belt. She never hesitated to give him a piece of her mind. He respected the nerve. She kept him sane on trips such as these. They set off, and walked together in silence for a while, towards a town to the south. The path was wide, but their surroundings were dense. The Southern Forest Region they called it, an apt name, albeit not an original one. A Thranta wailed from above, playfully skimming the canopy of the forest as it migrated to its new home for the long wet-season. “So,” Helix began, “I take it you know where we’re going?” “Yes.” Rook replied. She sighed audibly. “Where are we going?” Rook decided against conflict. “Duron, a farming city. There have been numerous reports of missing persons, hundreds, disappearing after signing up to work for the Empire on a compound in the south. It would seem to be regular imperial business; however, these are people the Empire actually need for their labour.” He stopped, as if this was enough information. “So? Why are they missing?” she pressed. Rook continued. “There are whispers of a dark presence, force presence, spreading its seeds of corruption through the encampment. It started with increased insomnia for labourers and transitioned to widespread paranoia and a few accounts of murder.” Something about his tone intrigued her. “You’ve seen this before?” “Of course. Humans are a weak species, and the dark side does not make compromises. There’s something out there for me to take, and I plan to take it. Whatever the cost.” Whatever the cost. He’d said that only once before, when he swore loyalty to the Emperor and the Sith order. He would serve and grow under new guidance, and vowed to live in pursuit of his goal, when he would one day take his revenge. Whatever the cost. A branch snapped to their right, and the duo stopped. Rook did not skip a beat. “I would advise against choosing us,” he said, “your heads are not the reason I came.” Four rugged and skinny men emerged from behind some trees brandishing pitchforks and makeshift weapons. One held what looked like a battle-axe made from broken dinner plates. They couldn’t have been older than 25. They had an air of desperation. “This one looks fancy,” the smallest snarled. “Indeed,” another replied, as if he’d never used the word, “he might be carryin’ somethin’ nice too, wif any luck.” The largest glared at them, and they quickly shut up. He wasn’t an overly big man, but he had an air of both authority, and immaturity. He was dressed, like the others, in common workers clothes, soiled brown from use. He brandished the most useful looking weapon of them all, a rusty cutlass with a brown hilt made from animal skin. All of them looked as though they hadn’t seen a meal in a week. “Now you listen here, fancy-pants,” the leader began, “if there’s one thing I don’t like, its having to kill travellers for not giving up their valuables. Are you going to help us out?” There was a tense silence. The Vanquisher broke it. “Four,” Rook murmured. The bandits looked briefly confused. “Four? Yeah, there are four of us. Four of us, and two of you. I’m no good at maths, but I reckon we have you outnumbered.” “My apologies. I meant three.” The bandits heard a quiet gurgle from behind them, and quickly turned. “What the f**k?! Kell!” one cried. The shortest of the four was hanging in mid-air, seemingly suspended by an invisible rope. His head was rolled back, and his pitchfork protruded at right angles from his body, buried deep within his abdomen, blood dripping to the floor. He was alive and convulsing yet made no noise and uttered no screams. The leader steeled himself and turned back to face Rook. The other two stood frozen, staring wide-eyed in disbelief at the scene in front of them. “M-my apologies sir, we didn’t know you were no Sith. We mean no more trouble, simply lookin’ for food is all. Please have mercy,” he said. Rook unhooked his lightsaber from his belt, and walked towards the men calmly. “Jim, I can’t move,” one hissed, seemingly on the verge of tears. “He’s got my legs. They won’t move!” “I gave you my warning. You did not listen. That is more mercy than we generally offer.” Rook brought his lightsaber up and held it, fist down, between two of the three remaining men. It was a dual hilt, stolen from the corpse of the Vanquisher who proceeded him. He ignited his weapon, and a dark red glow erupted from both sides, tearing towards the faces of the two snivelling men who stood frozen behind their leader. Their skin melted. They were not alive to see it. “Jim, is it?” Rook asked. The man nodded warily, seemingly blocking out the horror around him. He clutched his necklace, an ornate locket. Rook sensed the man’s love for what was within. Pictures of his child. “You wish to be with your daughter, yes? Quite a pretty thing, it seems. I can see her now, your head is quite open.” Jim let out a whimper. “Don’t worry,” Rook reassured him, “I’ll make sure she joins you soon.” He drove the lightsaber deep into his chest. The man’s eyes glazed. Helix, who until now was watching with great interest from behind, walked up and removed the locket from the dead man’s neck. They turned together and walked on. After long last, they approached the compound. Rook reach forward with his arms, pulling the large gates apart from a distance. It was barren and dirty, without a soul in sight. An abandoned construction site allegedly still in use. “There’s nobody here,” Helix remarked. “Very perceptive of you.” Rook replied. Rook knelt into the dust, placed his hand flat on the ground, and closed his eyes. “What are you doing?” Helix asked. “Listening.” It didn't take long for the tremors to start. Small ripples cascaded into his mind. He felt Helix breathing beside him, he felt a native wolf-cat scavenge for food on the far side of the compound, and the worms dig beneath the earth. He felt their force presence… and he felt something else, too. Something much, much stronger. A dark power emanating from the abandoned facility, somewhere below the surface of the earth, beckoning him. Waiting to be taken. They pushed on, stepping cautiously through the ground level of the facility. It seemed to be only recently abandoned, housing what was most likely imperial engineers and military. It had been ransacked recently, upturned desks and equipment strewn across the room; blueprints for new technology lying haphazardly on the floor. In the far corner was a simple staircase, leading down. They heard a dulled explosion from below. The floor shook. They took the stairs slowly, descending to the basement. Rook motioned for Helix to wait. “I’m not a chil-” Rook gripped his fist, and the girl’s mouth was forced shut. She nodded. Ahead of him lay an open corridor, and at the far end, an open hole in the wall. Rocks were scattered across the ground, dust was still settling, and a dull red glow invited him to walk closer. He knew what lay inside was powerful, and he would kill whatever was here to take it from him. He reached the makeshift doorway and looked inside, and the corners of his mouth twitched with a sick passion: A boy, mid-teens, knelt over a mangled body and made his final strike, wielding a small prism as his weapon. It pulsed as vibrantly red as the blood which covered it. The victim, who couldn’t have been much older than the assailant, twitched slightly as his life force ebbed away. Rook watched as the boy held the object, turning it between his hands, admiring its beauty. He felt his power, strong and uncontrolled. Rook reached towards the boy as he turned, unflinching. “Come with me.”

O F F I C I A L S T A T E M E N T Hello all, Ever since becoming commanding officer of the Regional Government as a part of my ongoing ascension to Grand Moff, I have been able to observe in-detail how its secretarial and test systems have evolved in the over two years they have been in place in this community. Government has evolved from its lowly beginnings as the Military High Command Secretaries, from its the industrial revolution which was the Administrative & Logistics Division, to what it is today. Countless amounts of deep thought, love and affection and hard effort has been put into what makes up our current systems, spread out throughout many different minds which have been our secretaries and chiefs of staff. Most notably, chiefs of staff Jet and Brass, who departed their roles a considerable time ago, have made up a bulk of the regimental management, test forms and general organisation that Government and nearly all other regiments use today. They were our revolutionaries. However, it has become apparent that in mid-2019, under a different set of morals and observation, Government is built on legacy systems and is not maintained to the same level of knowledge and wherewithal as it once was from late-2017 and early-to-mid 2018. These systems were built under a different mindset, in a community comprised of many different people and with different expectations than what is present today. My secretaries and myself have seen the flaws these old systems have presented us, which include but are not limited to: Non-standardised and highly opinionated test conducting and test marking Increasingly inefficient and difficult organisation Divided knowledge of what Government is and how it is run Degradation of professionalism and attitude Government is not comprised of the same genius' which paved the way to what it is today, but our current members and myself have seen these four main flaws in the current Government system, no longer tainted by the obstruction of authority. I have become Government's first Moff and I have now have the power and authority as well as the passion and drive to make radical changes. Therefore, my team and I have decided, with approval by Imperial High Command and Management, to reform Government in nearly its entirety. The list of reforms will be as follows: Complete restructure of both Clearance Level tests, including their readouts and informational video Complete restructure of the Expression of Interest form and Government recruitment in general Introduction of a standardised, score-by-number marking scheme, which has been previously trialed by Butcher Introduction of more realistic promotion guidelines for all Government ranks More efficient organisation of the Regional Government Google Drive folder Continued updates to the new and to-be-released Government Handbook, created by Sterling and Butcher, to reflect these changes and add behavioural standards Both Clearance Level 2 and Level 3 tests will be significantly changed as their content has not notably changed since their introduction in late 2017. During this restructure, which will take place over the weekend of May 4th-6th, all clearance level test services will be shut down. These reforms are an effort to continually improve Government and keep it up with modern expectations, as well as raise the bar and provide meaningful and efficient service. This is not something thought up overnight, this is a planned, strategically organised event which, while it will slow down services in the short-term, will hopefully greatly improve Government in the long-term and move it into a new era. I thank all of my members of Government for their continued support and service. Despite my professional writing and attitude, I have to say these guys are some of the most dedicated team I've had in a long while and this couldn't be possible without them. I also thank you all for your continued support in our services and hope you will be patient as we make these sweeping changes. These statements won't be a regular occurrence, but expect some real news when they do come around. Sincerely, SCHEFF TL;DR Government is built on old 2017-2018 era systems and will be updating all of its services to be up-to-date with mid-2019 standards. Clearance Level tests will be shut down from May 4th-6th. Thanks to all!

Sorry for the late response, but what made this ban in affect wasn't the comment you had made about me. Mainly because I did not realize until much later what had intially caused it, was you inviting other members from this community to join a hate group. In my opinion. You want other members to join a toxic group in an attempt to try and put me down. This community does not tolerate that type of toxic behavior.

"May the5th4th Appreciation Thread" To start things off, no, this will not be a redundant thread that simply states "Haha, May the 4th be with you", and no, this thread wasn't made to simply exploit a celebratory day in order to receive multiple up-votes using a singular sentenced post. This thread was created because of the one thing that brings us all together, one thing that created the very existence of the server. Star Wars. Star Wars, isn't just a movie to enjoy with friends and family. Star Wars showed us what the human imagination can create, an entire fictional universe located a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. Star Wars changed the way we perceived the Sci-Fi Genre, a wonderful adventure movie about space wizards on a mission to defeat the evil Galactic Empire™. I only have a simple request. It's nothing too difficult, nothing that would take precious time out of your day. I only require you to post on this thread, what you feel about Star Wars and whether or not it has affected you in any way. It can be an insult or praise. It can be 4 full paragraphs, or you can just say "Love it". - This is where the fun begins -

Some of you may no me as Vader's Fist Jol, the cool "Joel". This will be my first post after being a long time lurker without an account. So I will bless my account here. In the introduction section, without further ajew here is a story of me... (if you do choose to read it, thank you and please enjoy whilst makiing sure to note any grammatical errors in the comments below so I can fix them, thanks) I first joined IG earlier this year, I had some experience on EG but my friend recommended me here and was definitely a great decision. I naturally did my course of minging as an ST but after half an hour of being jailed in total, I finally got bored. I have to say my final turning point was that pitch black maze, in which I was afk for 10+ minutes for it (sorry to whoever put me in it). I finally reached my stage of slight maturity in my IG career and decided I needed to join a regiment. I was a LCPL for MT in EG so I thought; "Hey, why not go for medics again!" So I showed off my super immersive role play skills and impressed my Recruiter. My Medical career was quite poor, although I did place 3rd in an event for my role play skills . However, I did the poor decision of going AWOL and tried to join RANCOR (EDIT: this was prior to me joining Medical). However not to my surprise I didn't make the cut and soon went for Shadow Troopers, I did make the cut, although I was still under the regiment hopping cooldown. It was after a couple of days when I saw the notorious and now beloved Vader's Fist Regiment tryouts happen. So I put my hand up and went for it, after time of sweating the climb swep, concentrating on the faces course, blatantly copying the other contestant for the formation and the incredible amount of pressure during the interview... I made it successfully into the 501st Legion, in particular... Vader's Fist. After days of being active and participating in events I made it through the ranks, passing my CL2 test and training my first recruit I felt invincible. However little did I know that the dark time was ahead... I was gone on a camp for 3 days and in that time 4 VF members had left. My heart was ripped out and shredded into pieces. I felt loss and I could tell it took a heavy toll on my Command Team. However despite what happened, Colonel Tom, Major Mandor Teth and Captain Billybob pushed through and revived Vader's Fist into the beautiful sight it is today. With the recent gain of 2nd LT Wind, a Veteran of VF and the recent promotion of WO1 Chimp to 2LT Chimp, I felt increasing power within the regiment having 5 commissioned officers and one Officer Cadet to fill in the ranks under their command. However it is not only Vader's Fist in which have brought me joy and glee to the server, but the players as well. Having Taki and Nova being my closest rivals within the 501st it is their respect for me and each other in which has brought me great joy. Not to mention Fludders, who when was in VF did everything to make me happy... *sigh* if I could hear his soft innocent voice again... All in all, cheers for making my first term with IG be pretty dope. And +respect to everyone on the server who speaks to me. So I will depart this text with these few words... "May the Bikie Boys always be remembered, God Bless" -VF Jol (Cool Joel)

Steam Details Steam Name: Proven Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:178955391 Steam Profile link: https://steamcommunity.com/id/Proven01/ In Game Details In Game Name: Proven In Game Rank: N/A (Cannot recall) In Game Regiment: Storm Trooper Corps (Presumably) Ban Details How long was the ban for: The duration of the ban was permanent, stipulating that I would be unable to re-appeal or be welcomed back for a maximum of two years. However, an equitable consensus between Whitey, Wolf and I was reached, which lifted this restriction, permitting me another chance to appeal. Which staff member banned you: Jok Donassius (AKA Cody, I believe.) What date did the ban occur: 19 | 08 | 2018 at 00:04:23 PM What was the reason for the ban: "Violation of unban conditions." After I was stuck in spawn, I impulsively made the decision to kill the people of whom I was stuck inside in order to get free of the ST spawn and move on with the event. Certainly not the best decision. Explain the situation in detail which led to you being banned: How can I? It was death by a thousand cuts, and I'm still yet to figure out who I let down the most; whether it be myself, or the community. A memorable journey woven with regretful mistakes resulted in the gradual accumulation of warnings, which lead to the inevitable spiral of my ban. I was helpless, hurt, and lost, and as a result of my own decisions, I was removed from a community I held dearly to my heart. I've been told in the past that each warning was a chance to redeem myself that I never took, but that was never how I viewed it. I was naive, childish, and lacked the knowledge and foresight to realise that shit needed to change, and shit needed to change now. I can't say I'm not the same person anymore; I am. I still have the same sense of humour that made people laugh. I still have & had the same mind that would put the interests of others before my own. But the one thing I haven't dragged with me is the burden of ruining the fun of others, and throwing away valued friendships for reasons I didn't even know. These past months have humbled me, and I, as well as many others, are satisfied with the progress I have made behaviourally, and I don't plan on ever returning to my former self. So with that, I leave you. I leave you to dictate whether or not I am welcome within your community. This isn't my first ban appeal, but I can assure you, it will be my last. I don't expect any of you to ever trust me again, but what I do ask is for one final chance to prove to you all that I can and have changed. I thank you all dearly for taking the time to review this, and wish you a blissful evening. Always, Proven.

Dear Whitey, Even though this topic is locked, I thought I'd post on behalf of the community, especially after what I shared with you recently. Thank you for everything that you have done for the community and the people within it, Imperial Gaming would not be anywhere near where it is today without you and your continued support of the Community even through times that weren't particularly fruitful for you in self-fulfillment. I know of many times where you gave up sleep, personal time and even your own money to make sure we got custom content on time, or models were uploaded, or the content packs were updated so we got what we wanted, or you remote accessed your home PC so you could do things on the Server, and not many people ever said thank you for it, or praised you for doing things behind the scenes. So, on behalf of the entire community. Thank you.

I don't think they necessarily did anything completely atrocious and terrible in this scenario and people are just jumping on the bandwagon of "Oh they did something we don't agree with, so they're in the wrong." While I do agree they've said some things that shouldn't have been said, especially from a Staff Member, many have done this in the past and this is just one that comes to light via a video. Lets lay out the material facts of the situation; They were standing in front of the Bridge when the ST named "AlienC" attempted to RDM both Sterling and Wingza, evident through the fact that he shot both of them repeatedly and looked to be focusing mainly on Wingza in the situation. Wingza immediately froze the would-be assailant and between the Teamspeak chatter, I heard the words "Bro, bro you're shooting a Mod bro. The f**k? You're a dumbass man, out of all the people to shoot." from Sterling and "You, you are one of the dumbest people. Dumbass." The ST, named "McGregor" began immediately punching AlienC and said, "Don't worry boys, I've got him, boys, don't worry." Wingza then immediately banned the user for 4320 minutes, which equates to 3 days. As we can see here, Wingza didn't inherently do much wrong apart from calling the alleged MassRDM'er a "Dumbass" and "One of the Dumbest people." Now, I do agree, this situation could have been handled far better, they could have explained to him what he was doing wrong, even though he definitely understood MassRDM as he has 87 hours in Garry's Mod, more than enough time to understand the rules and basics of most Servers. (Source) Sterling and McGregor are also in the wrong here, McGregor punching him and being involved in a Staff Sit, and Sterling calling him a "Dumbass." as a User and respected member of the Community. Overall, I do not believe what was done here was completely terrible and warrants a punishment for Wingza, possibly a talking to and/or a warning about not doing it again, but up until now, Wingza has done nearly nothing wrong and has also been an active, mature and respectable member of the Community, he may have been a bit harsh in his wording in the heat of the moment and in his ban length without much explanation to the User, but in hindsight, if the User thinks he's done nothing wrong he can appeal the ban and be shown that he attempted to ruin another person's Roleplay experience through RDM. Thanks for reading. - Bailey

crouched in a shallow trench on that hell of exposed beaches... steeply rising foothills bare of cover... a landscape pockmarked with war’s inevitable litter... piles of stores... equipment... ammunition... and the weird contortions of death sculptured in Australian flesh... I saw the going down of the sun on that first ANZAC Day... the chaotic maelstrom of Australia’s blooding. Lest we forget! I fought in the frozen mud of the Somme... in a blazing destroyer exploding on the North Sea... I fought on the perimeter at Tobruk... crashed in the flaming wreckage of a fighter in New Guinea... lived with the damned in the place cursed with the name Changi. Lest we forget! I was your mate... the kid across the street... the med. student at graduation... the mechanic in the corner garage... the baker who brought you bread... the gardener who cut your lawn... the clerk who sent your phone bill. Lest we forget! I was an Army private... a Naval commander... an Air Force bombardier. no man knows me... no name marks my tomb, for I am every Australian serviceman... I am the Unknown Soldier. I died for a cause I held just in the service of my land... that you and yours may say in freedom... I am proud to be an Australian. The following was written by Pericles well over two thousand years ago, long before the first ANZAC Day, but only a stone’s throw from Gallipoli. Those heroes that shed their blood and lost their lives. You are now living in the soil of a friendly country therefore rest in peace. There is no difference between the Johnnies and the Mehmets to us where they lie side by side here in this country of ours. You, the mothers, who sent their sons from faraway countries wipe away your tears; your sons are now lying in our bosom and are in peace. After having lost their lives on this land they have become our sons as well.

Time Played Clone Wars RP Evidence N/A Have you had any warns (If so state them)? I have had no warns on Imperial Gaming. Have you had any bans (If so state them)? I have had no bans from Imperial Gaming. Have you been staff on any other servers or communities (If so state them)? Senior Event Master / Forum Administrator - Empire Gaming Community Owner - Republic Gaming Clone Wars Trial Moderator - Imperial Gaming Why are you applying to be an Event Master? Being able to create roleplay and fun experiences for other plays is something that I have always loved to be able to achieve, and for this reason being an Event Master is something that I have always actively pursued. I loved being able to be granted the freedom to create immersive sets of events and campaigns for players to be able to pursue, I would love to become more involved with the Imperial Gaming Imperial Server also through an event master position. I wish to, above all, provide the player-base with entertaining events that will benefit the community. Furthermore, I would love to be able to provide roleplay opportunities for people that may not necessarily have that much roleplay involved as a factor of their regiment, or perhaps I could simply improve the roleplay that is pre-existing, by expanding on it with other Event masters and creating new opportunities for entertainment and enjoyment for the individuals of said regiment. Such a regiment would be Sith and ISB for example, which is my current regiment (ISB/DT). Being able to host small roleplaying opportunities for the Sith with Event Master permissions would grant me the ability to offer the order a new array of experiences through interactive missions and stories. Of course, this would not always be limited to the Sith, and may be subject to jump from regiment to regiment depending on when the roleplay deems fit another regiment. Moreover, this would be a great way to remove that ‘boredom’ factor from regiments, by constantly providing people with something to do, I am sure I can entertain the player base and ensures that they are having a fun and immersive experience. Another part of this application stems from the personal factor of what I feel has always been a creative side I have wanted to express, which just happened to be through events. Being an Event Master in past allowed me to create my own interactive story-lines and enjoyable stories for both myself and the server I was playing on at the time. It was those days of planning for structured and detailed events, alongside other Event Masters, that were some of my happiest in the Star Wars RP scene. The comradery between Event Masters, and the dedication needed to pull off events and sometimes campaigns, that left the server feeling pleasured were what pushed me to continue working with the other Event Masters at the time to continue working for the servers and playbases’ enjoyment. Moreover, helping Event Masters in their tasks and being able to be apart of that roleplaying experience in events is something that I have always taken a liking to. Volunteering to be apart of events is something I love to do – reason being that the idea and ability of being able to create new characters that people can interact with, from scratch, is something that amazes me and is something that drives my passion for events. The ability to tell detailed and jaw-dropping stories is the reason I continue to play Star Wars RP overall, as the story and the immersion and entertainment factors of said story are why I fell in love with this franchise in the first place. Being able to dedicate my abilities to the players on Imperial Gaming who I have had the pleasure of meeting and to be able to continuously provide them with entertainment and events that will bring happiness to the players, above all, is the reason I am applying for the position of Event Master. What do you believe you can bring to the Event Master team? To the Event Master team, I can bring structured events that feature a detailed and vivid narrative. I can bring my prior experience as an Event Master to the team and share my ideas and creativity with other Event Masters who may need assistant along the way. I can offer my help to Event Masters who want to plan for long and immersive campaigns to keep the server happy over the weekend where there may be a lack of Roleplay. I can bring my activity to the Event Master team, I can say without a doubt that I am one of the most active people you will meet (a side effect of having to go to University only twice a week). Above all I can bring my dedication and hard-working nature to the Event Master team. I am someone who will do anything to achieve a goal that I think is right. The unrelenting drive I have to provide the server with enjoyable events and entertainment consistently is what I can bring to the Event Master team. My experience in a variety of regiments ranging from, but not limited to; Sith, Imperial Security Bureau, Navy, Government and boundless military regiments, are all manners of roleplay that I have grown accustomed to understanding. It is this understanding of how each regiment/organisation functions, and what manner of roleplay they are suited for, that sees further skill-sets be offered forth to the Event Master team. My knowledge of Star Wars lore and the deep understanding that I have of the working of ULX and Event Master related programs and functions are something that I can bring with me to the Event Master team. Ideas and concepts that perhaps Event Masters had not thought of, and advice on how to proceed when placed in certain predicaments of planning for events and campaigns (insight) are further examples of intuitions I can provide the Event Master team with. I can bring my skills regarding the Garry’s Mod systems in which will assist with creating and planning for events. These things are such mechanics and skills as being able to build advanced sets or dupes for events or being able to utilise Garry’s Mods’ advanced functions to better events and improve the overall experience for those involved directly and indirectly in the event. In summary: my skills, dedication, activity, knowledge, ideas and overarching ability to utilise Garry’s Mod functions are what I can bring to the Event Master team. What do you believe you can do to make Events more fun, enjoyable and inclusive? To further bolster the innovative and entertaining features of an event, I can use my skillset and ability to diverge multiple regiments and divisions to go and follow individual routes or roleplay. I can maintain the ability to keep multiple regiments doing different tasks at once, so that they are not all occupied completing the exact same miniscule task as one another. I can do this to a degree where they will not grow tired as the Event Master has to race between each of the regiments, but rather I would simply pre-determine each objective and have their objective ready for them. Moreover, I can innovate events through their storylines. I believe that as an Event Master my speciality would be to characterise and structure detailed narrative stories played out through events, that would follow in sequence to one another. I believe that by using this format, I would be able to add new flair and characteristic to events, that perhaps has not been seen in the past. This story-arc structure to events is something that I would also introduce to the other Event Masters so that we could work on collaborative projects to complete large story-arcs, that stem from event to even over a course of a few days to a week. Do you have basic knowledge of ULX commands? Yes Anything else you would like to add? In regards to ULX commands, I have an extensive knowledge of ULX Commands. I have used ULX on numerous occasions as either staff or in my own private time. I know everything from basic !bring, !goto, !gag, !return, !give, !tp, !spawn commands to making advanced binds through the use of console (which are to be used in events for event characters and setting such things as their; health, model, weapons and other such perks). Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read over my application. I look forward to any responses you leave below whether it be criticism or positive feedback. - GENERAL TEMPLATE - What is your Steam name?: Sterling What is your current in-game name?: Mk. I Dio What is your current in-game rank?: Inferno Droid. What is your current playtime on the server?: 3 Weeks, 4 Days, 7 Hours What is your current overall playtime on Garry's Mod?: 3428 Hours. Do you have a microphone?: Yes, I do have a microphone. Do you have any kicks, bans or warnings from anywhere on Imperial Gaming?: I have no kicks, bans or warnings on Imperial Gaming. Why do you believe you would be an asset to the team?: I believe that I possess the necessary motivations and mindset to benefit the Media Team. I believe that I would be a valuable asset to the team through my interactions and assistance provided to the existing Media Team. I believe that I am someone who would love to be able to work together collaboratively with other members of the existing Media Team. I see myself as someone who would accomplish the task they have been assigned, and would not quit until they have done so. I believe my previous experience as an editor and work as other branches of Media related tasks, such as; director, producer, set builder, voice-actor/over and other roles would see me become a valuable asset to the Media Team, in its ongoing projects and future aspirations. Do you understand that as a member of the advertisement team, you may have to put in long hours into various projects?: I understand that becoming a member of the Media Team is something that will force me to put-aside my personal time for the sake of the various ongoing projects of the Media Team. I am also aware that the dedication and mindset of the Media Team is critical for the objectives and accomplishment of the works of the Media Team. I am happy to provide my personal time to the betterment of the Media Team's objective, and for providing content to the Imperial Gaming community in an effort to better the community overall. How well do you work with others in a team?: I work quite well with others in a team. When the team has an over-arching objective I work in sync with the team's chemistry and enable the team to focus on the task at hand. I am someone who can coordinate groups and other individuals in a group, if the group is having difficulties, or individuals in said group are having issues and conflicts with one another, I am someone who can resolve said disputes and put the team back on track to achieving the ongoing projects or objectives that it would have been focusing on before said disputes arose. To summarise, I am someone who can work very well in a group, especially if it is one where tasks are delegated and everyone knows what role they are playing the creative process. How much time can you offer to the team in an average week?: Most of my days are spent on the computer as my University assignments and work are all assigned and completed online. Besides the two days where I go to University on Wednesday and Friday (and even on those days I still remain active after I have come home from University), I would be able to pledge myself to the team for most of the week, if not all of it. Unless there is something major going on, which there rarely ever is, I would be able to concentrate myself on any ongoing projects of the Media Team with ease, and would definitely able to assist other members of the team quite easily without being burdened by a lack of time or time management related issues. Is there anything else you would like to add?: Not much I would like to add besides thanking you for reading through my applications, and that I look forward to any responses provided below. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - POST PRODUCTION TEMPLATE - What software do you use to edit?: The software I use to edit is VSDC. How much experience do you have with editing?: I have quite abit of experience with editing. I first started editing back in 2016 when I used to work on projects for school and... 'meme videos' for the sake of working on them. Furthermore, the skills I have developed in using each of these programs for editing is something that I have gradually developed over the years as I have matured and changed my focus of projects onto different perspectives and tasks, whether it be for University or editing for Garry's Mod related projects. What other software do you use to aid with editing?: I do also use Sony Vegas, however it is only stored on my old computer, hence why I use VSDC instead now days - not much is different except for a few more features being present on my old Vegas programs, of which I rarely used anyways. Have you edited things in the past? If so, please link them here.: Yes, I have. Here they are: These clips were collected by @cjhrjone54 during the Umbara Campaign we had on RG. I later decided to make a little edit of them and merge together a sort of montage from the initial stages of the campaign. Now this next video I did not physically edit myself, instead I played a very heavy influence in the trailer's production; that being music choices, scene/set building, progression of the narrative/story in the trailer, the construction and execution of the scenes in the trailer and so on. Why do you want to become an editor?: I want to become an editor so that I can provide content for the Community and assist the Media Team in any future and ongoing projects that they have in the works for the community. I don't mind if these projects focus on Clone Wars or Imperial, as both are working for the benefit of the server. Editing is something that I would love to offer to the Media Team, and would also love to learn to work on from the current Media Team editors, of which I believe there is currently two. In summary, I want to become an editor because I love to work on these types of projects and believe I could offer my contributions to the Media Team through my dedication to said projects.

A seriously unneeded comment. What is the point in opening old wounds....I don't understand if you think you're funny but I think you're just asking for downvotes

Neutral leaning towards a +1. Have seen you around but don't know you that well Edit: Seems like he'd be a good EM and decent person, +1

Hey. To the people don't know me, I'm a very psychological person; I study people. And nothing fascinates me more than said people. It goes without saying that there is a very diverse ecosystem when it comes to SWRP. From God Complexes to Minges, getting to the psychology of SWRP (even if it sounds stupid) is something I've been wanting to do for a while. I've been thinking of making a documentary-style video, explaining the psychology of a typical SWRP server. I've been thinking about this for a while, and I was wondering if anyone would like to be asked a series of questions as to what the server means to them. It'll be interesting to see the results. Cheers- Demonic.

What you are about to witness is elite ISB Agents and Chiefs in actions, using their years of experience and expertise in the real world. Do not attempt these methods in your own interactions with non-Imperial personnel, it is only executable by the highest of intellectuals, (200IQ<) Congrats on Ass Chief @Kristofer

This footage was obtained from the corpse of one of the meals given to the 9th Sister. Sadly he is no longer with us as the Cow has devoured him just like she has everything else within the boundaries of the Temple.
