Applicants History & Reasons
Have you had any warns (If so state them): No, i have not received any warns.
Have you had any bans (If so state them): No, i have not received any bans.
Have you been staff on any other servers or communities (If so state them): No, but hopefully this will be my first experience as one.
What do you believe is the purpose of Moderators on the server: The purpose of the "Moderator" role is to moderate the server. To further expand this role includes helping others while on the server and on other software apps such as Teamspeak and Discord with issues they might have or for inquiries about a certain topic. Being a moderator also means being a role model to others for the server and making sure that the server is enjoyable for all.
Why are you applying to be a Trial Moderator: I am applying to become a trail monderator because of a few reasons. The first being, because i think that helping others is the way to go while being on the server, i know in the past a lot of people have asked certain questions that i simply cannot answer and have had to tell them to go talk to a moderator or a member of the staff team that can help them. I feel like if i were to become a trail moderator this would resolve this problem and would help the person quicker. Another reason would be that i have dedicated myself to this community making myself well known to people while on the server and trying to improve everyones experience at the same time. My last reason would have to be that being a moderator is an important role dealing with issues that people may have, and i feel like i could contribute to solving those issues.
What do you believe you can bring to the staff team: I can bring someone who is willing to help everyone that comes onto the server and also off of the server, such as Discord or Teamspeak. I can also bring someone who is a dedicated member of the community and spends all of the time playing on this server. Furthermore i can bring someone who is willing to devote their time and effort to resolve someones issues and if needed am present for any situations.
Someone Mass RDM’s and disconnects from the server. What do you do?: I would check the kill feed logs and would grab the persons Steamid64 that RDM'ed and would warn them for Mass RDM. Then once i saw the person back on the server i would pull that person aside and would talk to him/her about why they committed the mass RDM and the consequences for it if they were to continue.
Someone is bullying another member of the community. What do you do?: I would bring the victim to a secluded place where no-one else could hear besides staff and would ask them to tell me what might of caused this bullying to occur, once explained and the victim gave me the full story i would than bring the bully to my location and would ask that person a series of questions, such as why you did this and how do you think this makes the other person feel. Then once that has happened i would than give the bully a warn for bullying as it is not acceptable in this community.
You see a higher ranking staff member abuse their powers. What do you do?: I would record evidence of the higher ranking staff member while trying not to get caught by the staff member and would then proceed to give it to a higher rank than the person who was abusing their powers and would let them deal with the situation.
Someone threatens to DDOS the server. what do you do?: I would immediately ban the person for a certain amount of time, i would then proceed to get evidence from other members of the community who might of heard or recorded the person threatening to DDOS and would pass all of this information to a higher ranking staff member who could sort it out accordingly.
