    PAC3 Rules Updated 1. Do not break Roleplay or the Immersion of other by the use of PAC. 2. Do not stretch body parts or limbs to an extreme extent. 3. Do not use PACs downloaded from the internet, this does not include Pastebins from other members of the community. 4. If you become inactive in the community then your PAC3 will be removed from your player and you will have to reapply again. 5. Everything you use in PAC must be made by yourself or other members of the community. 6. If you are told to remove an item or change your PAC by a staff member you must remove it immediately. 7. You must obey all community and server rules (Both in OOC and RP). 8. You are only to use PAC to improve the immersion and roleplay for yourself and other members of the community. 9. Be considerate of other members when creating your PACs. If your PAC is content heavy it may create FPS drop and lag for others. 10. Do not apply PACs to other players or entities. 11. Do not use PAC3 Camera to look around areas you can’t visually see. 12. Creating inappropriate content in PAC3 is not allowed. If you are found doing so then a punishment will follow on a case by case basis. 13. Using PAC3 items as a recording device (In Roleplay i.e. A doll with a camera) is allowed as long as it doesn’t cause personal gain (power play), affect other members role play, and you are not AFK at the time. 14. If you wish to have an alternate uniform in PAC3 different to your regiments original model then it must be approved by the management team. If caught breaking these or any other community / server rules punishments can and will be handed out at the discretion of the IG management team (including but not limited to removal of your PAC privileges) and is not up for debate. All rules may be subject to change at any time without warning. Understand that PAC has been added to improve the RP on the server, using PAC3 in situations that don’t really benefit RP or are primarily for yourself may result in you being told to remove your PAC. PAC3 is a privilege to the user, not a right. Any further questions please feel free to contact any member of the staff team and they will direct you in the right direction. If you are not sure about your PAC and want it to be checked before wearing it on the server then see the IG Management Team or an Admin who will act on our behalf.

Have you had any warns (If so state them): Only 1 when I first started playing IG and I'm unsure how I got it. Have you had any bans (If so state them): None to my knowledge. Have you been staff on any other servers (If so state them): Owner of Epsilon Gaming (Small Time Minecraft/Gmod Community) which closed down sometime over 7 years ago Community Moderator / Senior Administrator for The Gaming Council which closed sometime last year. Why are you applying for TMOD: I am applying for Trial Moderator because I have a large amount experience in this area, I enjoy helping the community and its members and I am in a role currently which does provide me more spare time, I would prefer that time be used towards something of value. What can you bring to the staff team: As mentioned, I have gained a lot of experience in management and moderation on other communities, I am active most afternoons and weekends when I am not working, I have extensive knowledge of ULX and other management tools and I am usually very level-headed. Scenarios Someone Mass RDM’s and disconnects from the server. What do you?: In a normal situation I would review the logs and check for the players SteamID, I would use the SteamID to warn the player for Mass RDM and then ban for an appropriate duration, most likely anywhere between 1 week to a permanent ban as I believe Mass RDM is a serious issue that requires a serious punishment. Someone is bullying another player. What do you do?: I would proceed to verbally warn the bullying player/s to stop and if they continue provide an actual warn. then I would actively monitor the player/s and if the bullying should continue I would proceed by kicking the bullying player/s. Bullying is not fair to the player that is being bullied and I do not like to see it happen to others. You see a higher up staff abuse their powers. What do you do?: First I would start recording the situation as it develops, then I would contact a higher up and alert them of the situation. After then all I can really do it stay out of the way and ensure other players can continue playing. I find that these situations don't usually occur but when they do you cannot really do much in the ways of stopping them, all you can really do is just take as much information as you can and stop others from getting involved. Someone threatens to DDOS the server. what do you do?: In most communities I have been on DDOSing either threatened or actual is a serious offence. I would take evidence of the threat and proceed to remove them from the server with a ban for 1 day, then I would communicate with a higher ranking staff member and inform them of the situation and provide evidence. In the previous communities I have moderated I see this as a very serious threat regardless of being fake or real and I believe it should always be taken seriously. Terms I accept that I am a representative of Imperial Gaming, and that I have been given these powers to make the experience of others better. I understand that advertising my application can get it denied. I accept that I may be demoted at any time by a senior member of staff without prior warning, as long as a valid reason is given. I have read all the rules and understand them completely, if not I will ask a higher staff member for a better explanation.

    You all make a good point and I do agree with you that applications should be detailed. But I will note that I put a good hour into this and as I have stated in my application I have done most of this on my mobile phone. I do believe my app is detailed in a way where I do answer the question but in words that explain but do not drag on in excessive and unessecary wording. However for those who require more, I have gone ahead and detailed up my responses a little more. Enjoy

    Hi All, Just want to give you all a head's up where things are at on the server currently and anything that is changing or being brought to the server to increase your experience. As you know there have been changes on IG but Wolf & the whole Staff Team, both new and old, are working to give everyone in this community the best experience possible. The last month has been a complete new learning curve for myself and many others so If you have any feedback please don't hesitate to contact myself on the forums as this is the best way for me to keep track of anything you need (Steam doesn't like me). Please don't forget this is YOUR community and you should feel that way at all times, If you have any suggestions of ways to improve the server or issues that you are personally experiencing in your community, no matter how big or small, then all you have to do is send me a message on the forums and i'll either deal with it personally or pass it on to the correct people that Wolf & I trust to make sure it is handled with the upmost care and importance. Even if in the answer is no in the end, i'll make sure we give you a valid reason why and how we can work towards the future. PAC3 Application Status I've been monitoring peoples activity for the last two weeks to see who is online as i'm planning on going through them after work today. Remember that PAC3 isn't simply given out based on your level of skill. We look at your Playtime both long term and in recent weeks, your contribution to the community (I.E. taking on roles on the server, Impressive role play, being a commander, showing great leadership or how your recruit training is going), Community feedback and impressions of the individual and finally the word of staff. We also sadly can't accept everyone, so if your app isn't denied it means we are still looking at you for the future. So keep working hard and it will be noticed. T-Mod Application Status These applications will continue to be monitored for the near future as we are at a personal determined capacity. This doesn't mean we won't accept someone if an application comes in that shows huge unanimous support from the community but it does mean the acception time and process will be longer to keep a nice level. Don't let this give your hopes up, If you fit the role and the community agrees we will always assess applications by a case by case basis. If you have any issues or questions feel free to contact myself on the forums. Also if you are in doubts about what role you want to contribute to the server the Event Masters Team led by Welshy is always looking for keen individuals that show a talent and drive to create RP on a different scale for the server. If you believe you have got the right stuff to give the EM Team a go put in an application with as much detail as possible (For great examples go look at Keta's and DeeDees recent applications in the accepted section.) I started my time on this server as an Event Master before being brought across to the Admin Team and loved every minute of it, so give it a try! Incoming Changes: - New more recognisable medical models to replace existing models. (Now on server just not allocated to regiment) - New model for Engineers (Currently high ranking). (Now on server just not allocated to regiment) - New model to fix Inferno Squad Issues. (Now on server just not allocated to regiment) - New model for Pilots. (Now on server just not allocated to regiment) - Introduction of Jobs for 2 lore characters. - Introduction of new Astromech Droid donation items. Currently being worked on by Development Team: - Swap functionality for Engineers to model with BA. - A few other things that we all think you will like. Currently being worked on by Wolf, Welshy & I: - Updated PAC3 Rules to reflect changes and recent issues. - Update Pilot Ranks and Squadron break up to give them a fresh new feel. - Bringing new immersive Maps on the server to increase your roleplay Immersion. Currently being looked at by content committee: - Assessing all content currently on server to see what can be removed. - Assessing new content to increase your Star Wars Roleplay immersion including but not limited to Prop Packs & new vehicles for events. Have you been staff on any other servers (If so state them): - Community Manager on Void Tech Gaming Why are you applying for TMOD: I am applying for trial moderator so I can help the community in a more substantial way than I have been. I have always admired the work of staff, and would love to assist players day to day, just as staff members have helped me in the past. I feel like becoming staff is the ultimate way of giving back to the players on this server and upkeeping Imperial Gamings community. I love to contribute the community in any way possible so I believe that being a staff member is a great position. What can you bring to the staff team: I can bring a loyal, hardworking and mature attitude to all staff work that I’m involved in. I feel like staff also need to be there when players want a professional chat about an issue or a topic regarding the server. I will be there when a person does want to have those chats. I also believe that staff need to be role models in game not just out of game. I believe with my standing in the community I can achieve this. Scenarios: Someone Mass RDM’s and disconnects from the server. What do you?: I would first look through the logs to find out how many people this person has killed. I would talk to one of the killed parties asking them about the details of what had just occurred. After reviewing any evidence/witness information, I would get his steam ID and warn him for mass RDM x (how many times e.g 4) and disconnecting to avoid punishment. Secondly I would ban the offender for aslong as I can as a trial moderator. Afterwards, I would proceed to warn other staff about the player in admin chat or TeamSpeak in case he comes back later that day. Someone is bullying another player. What do you do?: I would first talk to the players involved individually, so I can work out what the problem is. After working out the problem I would talk to all parties involved. Depending on the evidence of what is happening I will tailor my approach. Different scenarios that could play out: Scenario 1: misunderstanding. I get both parties to talk to each other and how that one party feels hurt. With proper communication I get both parties to apologies to any wrong doings they have committed. I will also keep tabs on how each party is going. Scenario 2: Bullying party continues to disrespect and humiliate the other party after communication between the parties and myself. Warns will be handed out to the bullying party (Player disrespect). If the bullying was more serious or long term, then I may have to take it to a senior member of the staff team. You see a higher up staff abuse their powers. What do you do?: If I see any higher up abusing their powers I would talk to their higher up with recorded or screenshot evidence of their wrong doing. Example an admin is freezing random players for their own amusement. Following the chain of command, I would take it to a senior admin. Someone threatens to DDOS the server. What do you do?: As a moderator my power to punish an offender is limited. If I see anyone threatening to DDOS the server I would screenshot/record the offender’s threats, warning them for threatening to DDOS the server, and I would contact an admin + to issue a permanent ban.     My app has more detail than some of the ones that have been accepted, just saying. Do you want me to make the text bigger so it looks like there's more there or smaller to make it seem like there is less detail? End of the day its up to the head admins to decide. In my opnion the people commenting are usually the ones that know who the player is for then they +1, netural or -1 them. Thats just how i see it and from my experience think how all this works. Thanks for your feedback anyways, its always appreciated.

    I understand that you want it to be short and simple. But the more detail you put in your application, it shows your effort to join the staff team. Your efforts should be 100% if you very serious about joining the staff team. This is just my opinion. All the best, Pav

    +1 Jet is absolutely perfect in every perceivable way and checks all the criteria to be a staff member for Imperial Gaming. I would trust him as a staff member as much as I trust him to keep my AI systems running. Accept him NOW. about time jeez

    Changing my decision to +1 - Kraken is a good Navy personal. At first your app wasn’t detailed but when we told you, you quickly fixed it. I like your intentions and hopefully you can carry out what you are saying right now if you get T-Mod. All the best, Pav
